The hotel did not mention on its website that it was renovating the main lobby, but mentioned it (and without clearly specifying the locations of the works) in the booking confirmation email after the advance and non-refundable payment of the entire stay. The price of the rooms was however unchanged despite passing through the narrow service entrance, the ceiling of which you could touch with one hand. The room had an air problem, they changed it for me but I lost a precious hour in my schedule, I changed rooms but here too the fan was very noisy and I had to turn off the heating at night to sleep. Another surprise: the telephone keys to call room service and lobby did not work, you could only press zero. I requested room service for lunch but the phone was hung up on me twice and I had to go down to the lobby myself to order. I strongly advise against this hotel which is anything but 5 stars. Spent 6 nights here recently and loved it! The neighborhood in which it lies is fantastic, amenities are good (what you would expect), restaurants are VERY good, staff is TOP NOTCH! They wait on you hand-and-foot, and Albert in particular was incredibly helpful and resolved a lost item issue almost immediately. It is an affordable hotel in a posh location and the restaurants/bars around it are great. You will not be disappointed with your stay here.

Asked concierge desk about any fireworks on today in London. He was having a rant to colleague (about something else) before I approached and said no there was no fireworks on Sunday bonfire night weekend. Quick google search showed after there was some. He clearly couldn’t be bothered to help. Expect more from a 5 star hotel staff in Mayfair.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square for six nights, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The service we received was outstanding, starting with the doorman and extending to the reception, front desk management, housekeeping, security personnel, and the incredible M Lounge staff. The entire M Lounge staff deserves a special mention for their superb service. We were particularly impressed by Mr. Maxime, who went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, consistently checking if we needed anything and displaying a positive attitude. Mr. Gabriel's excellent customer service also stood out, contributing to our enjoyable experience. Despite the busy breakfast times, the M Lounge staff always managed to provide superior service, making us and other guests feel valued and well-cared for. Their collective effort to keep us happy truly made a difference in our stay. I highly recommend the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square for its exceptional service and dedicated staff. It was a memorable stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

I am a lifetime member so status helps with room upgrades. In this case they did not have a better room available and offer one with view of the park. However the service here is top notch. M Club had very good breakfast as well as afternoon tea and snack with wine and beer in the early evening. Housekeeping was extremely good and the front desk very accommodating. Shout out to ( I think her name was) Ellie. She help advise on room and got us early check in. Front door bellmen also very helpful and friendly. There are 2 Gordon Ramsey restaurants on the property. We eat twice at the bar & grill and it was very good. Thanks!!

I absolutely love this hotel. I frequently travel for work, and the last time I was in London I stayed at Grosvenor House and had a great experience. I loved it so much I decided to come back with my family for spring break. The hotel is beautifully designed -- charming and elegant. I have Platinum Marriott status and thus had access to a lounge that had a breakfast, snack and cocktail/light dinner service that exceeded all expectations. The food and drinks were delicious. The champagne choices during cocktail hour were particularly exceptional! The staff at every step was flawless. From check in to the cleaning service to the people in the lounge, people went above and beyond to make sure our whole family was taken care of. I was amazed at how attentive everyone was to my kids, too. The kids (aged 5 and 7) got coloring books and a stuffie when we checked in, and in the lounge the staff frequently checked on us to make sure the kids had the right foods to eat. Everyone went above and beyond to help us and it made our stay extra magical. Finally, the location of this hotel is ideal. You're right across the street from Hyde Park and have access to all the shopping and restaurants of Mayfair and every transportation option you could need. Yet you also are in a quiet neighborhood somehow. My daughter and I went on morning walks and enjoyed the quaint streets immensely. I highly recommend this hotel!!

Only one poor guy out front dealing with a customer phone complaint. Breakfast rough. Super expensive and poor value at £19. Room rate over £500 night. Room good but service horrendous and internet painfully slow

Such a disappointment!!!We stayed for one night, Tuesday, we checked out yesterday morning and when I opened my suitcase I realised that I had forgotten a shirt (premium brand) in the room. When we contacted the hotel they told us that they didn't find anything. I am so disappointed and furious.

Stayed for 4 days while visiting London. Stayed on one of the Balcony Suites with an outdoor courtyard and it was wonderful! The hotel is close to what we wanted in Mayfair. The staff was wonderful and the M Club lounge was a very good place to start our day with full breakfast (albeit in a lower level). No lobby to speak of but a nice bar and Gordon Ramsay restaurant are on site. I highly recommend the Balcony Junior Suite as it provided a nice place to escape that was semi-private, with (fake) fireplace, umbrella table, and chairs. Room has the king bed, a sofa/sitting area and large windows.

I highly recommend this hotel, the location was great in a classy area and near all the restaurants and attractions that we wanted to visit, the staff were friendly and helpful, room service was fast. The check in and out was easy. One of the best hotels in London, and I would definitely go back here. The hotel is spacious and tidy, and its location is excellent, in an upscale area and close to restaurants and places we wanted to visit. The service is excellent, the staff are very respectful and have a sophisticated manner. The room is very tidy and clean, and the bed was very comfortable.

Fantastic place with magical interior and decor! The service is among the best I've ever experienced. We had a guy from Italy who served us who was incredibly good and nice. We had bottomless brunch, the food was good and the drinks even better. Took 40 seconds to get the glass refilled without having to ask for it!
