Looked good from the outside. 20 different dishes. Was put just inside the door.seating cram them in.We were asked to pay up front. Didn’t want our cards wanted cash We paid the cash others that followed paid by card. The food looked appetising but was mainly cold. Everything served on plastic plates drinks in plastics beakers . Wouldnt return

What a joke avoid like the plague. Food wasn't nice, no appreciation for cross contamination. Rude staff. I asked to speak to a manager and was informed there wasn't one. I asked to speak to a the supervisor 3 times and I was ignored.

Buffet looked good in window & fair price so went in. The shell on prawns tasted soft & tasteless (ie not fresh or cooked from frozen without being defrosted). Only had 2 - have had food poisoning & have had diarrhoea since

Visited here today after a theatre visit with my family very small place very very over crowded had to keep moving my dear whilst I was eating to allow people to pass the staff was so rude I have never met people like them they was rude to every person that walked in the door and made everyone feel very unwelcome the food was average at best the drink was redicolusly priced at £3.80 a can of coke once seated they immediately came and told us to pay first before even taking drinks order no please or thank you from staff the toilets filthy AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

We looked at previous reviews which were encouraging. Don’t be fooled! Small choice and chicken and meal dishes were cold and inedible.

£14.00 buffet in Central London. You can see the food in the window before you go in. Staff were friendly and chatty. Food varied and great. My hungry kids loved it.

A quick stop for a family of 4. Small selection but enough to fill the bellies of hangrey children. Cheap and cheerful, staff were friendly. Be warned - you must pay up front on arrival, but … they take card unlike the other buffets we looked at.

Had a great dinner with my daughter. A really good variety of dishes, lots of chicken and beef dishes with ribs and great prawns as well. Constantly being topped up by hardworking staff. A nice cold Tiger beer washed everything down a treat.

Archi nul, c'est pas bon, aucunes saveurs et pourtant on n'est pas difficile. Assis sur de pauvres tabourets. On nous jette les couverts sur la table. Ils ne comprennent pas l'anglais. Pas d'étiquetage des plats. Et on paye avant d'avoir mangé ! Boissons servies dans des gobelets en plastiques. Bref fuyez! Dommage ça faisait plutôt envie depuis l'extérieur...Des français très déçus de n'avoir rien mangé au final et payé 60 livres!!!!

Hey!!… I have NO idea why previous comments have marked down this place the way they have!!?.. I’ve just had an excellent meal, the food is on display for all to see so I guess if you don’t like what you see.. just walk on!! But I found it excellent, the restaurant was busy when I arrived and they did only have one member of staff on Lastly I would say excellent value for money, it was all you can eat for around £11-£12!!

Okay, I see a lot of bad reviews for restaurants in China Town but desperate for a buffet we took the plunge at Hong Kong Buffet and they didn’t disappoint. The decor is a little dated and there isn’t wide ranging selections but for the price it was a good meal. Had everything I wanted and all of the food was delicious. Not the best place for a fancy dinner but I’d definitely go back to eat on a non-occasion.

When this place first opened I was impressed, there seemed to be plenty of choices on offer including a small selection of deserts and fruit. Children could eat at a discount too. I went recently ( June 2021 ) the choices were more limited, no deserts, no discounts. Very disappointed.

Pink chicken, raw potato's, hair in food and all they could say was sorry before rudely walking of, absolute vile, 3 of us went and none of us could stomach even 1 plate.

Cold food, very misleading has a sign on the window saying £7:50 then the help out to eat out sticker. We thought that was the price before the discount, looking at the window the food was very low on choice so we thought it’s low choice because how cheap it was!. However that’s the actual price was £9 per person with the additional service charge. The food was cold, tasteless and served on paper plates. We certainly won’t go again even for the price.

My friend and I went here for buffet and there was a man called Tian/Yang. He was sooooo friendly and his customer service was amazing. The food was really nice and Tian/Yangs service was AMAZING!!!

Buffet selection was very limited. The saucey dishes were watery. Food was tasteless and cold. Hardly any dessert choices either. Poor value at £16pp, would not recommend.

We stumbled about this restaurant after walking lots around London and kids were desperate for food, the restaurant was very small quite busy but I was disappointed with the range of food available and the kids just ate rice and chips and were charged adult prices, would not go again as poor value. But the food did taste pleasant, also when we left discovered it was cash only for payment

This was my first time in China Town and there was a lot to take in after being in busy London all day visiting the museum’s and Harrods and we came across this little gem of a restaurant friendly helpful staff the food was very nice and cooked fresh good price as well

After reading all of the bad reviews we weren't sure but were very hungry so tried it. Very impressed with it. Granted there wasn't a huge selection but what there was, was cooked really well and very tasty. Highly recommended 👍🏻

I was looking for a restaurant to have my lunch and i looked through the list of prices in the near ones but i liked the idea then i found the staff really helpful and the food is amazing and it was my first time to taste the cooked mango.. wow

Es autoservicio de buffet, por supuesto, pero la elección fue buena y la comida muy sabrosa. Admittedly I am not a fussy eater but we had a great meal here. Quick and cheerful food for a family who all like different things. Friendly and efficient staff. We left stuffed - £67 all in (including drinks and service charge).

I get the poor reviews for this place. The food selection is fairly limited but I wish people would just think about how much they are paying right in the heart of London when reviewing. I think we paid £10.95 a head or thereabouts for an eat all you can buffet. Myself, not being a fussy eater, I left absolutely stuffed. I love the chicken wings they do and the spare ribs. In fact, I had 2 plates of almost these. The main dishes are cheaper options, sweet and sour chicken, beef in black bean and a couple of other choices. They also do shell on prawns if you can be bothered to peel them, again I had half a plate of these. My husband on the other hand, struggles to find much variety to eat as he is maybe a bit fussier for me. However, he was well fed. The drinks again are very reasonable for the location. The staff are friendly and very quick to clear your table, someone is constantly going back and fore clearing plates.

Possibly the worst Chinese restaurant in China town . Buffets can be a bit hit and miss , this one should definitely be avoided if you actually want something resembling Chinese meal .

Soy local y suelo comer en Londres. Si usted es un turista, evite a toda costa, ya que hay mejores restaurantes en la zona que no estafan a sus clientes. Fuimos a cenar aquí un jueves por la noche, nos sentamos en lo que parecía una mesa de cuatro (éramos 2 y 2 personas al azar ya allí), lo cual era un poco extraño, pero supongo que los restaurantes de Londres no están bendecidos por el espacio. ! La comida era abundante y de buena calidad con un buen servicio del personal. Los baños eran un poco extraños, ya que solo había luces de Navidad colgando del techo, ¡tan oscuro! Pensé que era realmente bueno ya que teníamos que hacer cola para entrar al restaurante. Una vez sentados estábamos sentados en una mesa con otras dos personas que no sabíamos. Esto era inaceptable y simplemente nos “apretaron”. Luego fui a buscar algo de comida y regresé para encontrar que nos habían trasladado a otra mesa para permitir que una familia más grande tuviera nuestra mesa para que pudieran sentarse. - Esto también estaba bajo el aire acondicionado y cerca de la puerta y se estaba congelando. Pensé que esto estaba completamente fuera de servicio después de pedirnos que pagáramos un 10% de servicio en la parte superior de la comida.

La peor comida china que he probado. Tardamos más en sentarnos que en salir huyendo después de pagar 30libras. Por el escaparate la comida tenía buena pinta pero una vez dentro todo sucia, olía mal, la comida insípida, hasta beberme la Coca-Cola en el vaso que me pusieron daba asco. Después no aceptaban tarjeta con lo que me llevaron al bar de al lado para poder pagar que es como la versión pija pero la comida salía del mismo sitio. Eso no pasó por no haber leído antes los comentarios aquí.

Okay okay, I know it’s an ‘all you can eat’, arrived around 8-8:30 but we were disappointed at the offerings at the buffet, sesame prawn toast was just fried bread - no topping. The only other dim sum was vegetable spring rolls. There was a reasonable choice of ‘mains’ and the noodles with beansprouts were lovely, but I just felt this buffet was lacking in substance and choice. Drinks prices were reasonable for London, staff were friendly - we received a friendly welcome, but at the end the discretionary 10% service charge was put on our bill so I didn’t leave a tip - which would’ve amounted to more than the 10% charge. That annoyed me slightly. I presume they must do that to everyone - so why not increase the buffet price rather than annoying patrons with service charges.

Normally I would never consider eating at a restaurant with reviews as terrible as this place gets, but I didn't do any research before eating here, ans was twice surprised. First by how much I enjoyed the food here, and second by the bad reviews I read later.

Hay una gran selección de comida en el buffet, aunque algunos tiende a ser un poco cocidas. Aun así, era abundante y no hay límite en el número de veces que puedes volver a rellenar el plato. También me gustó mucho que puedas agregar chile y salsas calientes para hacer la comida caliente o tienen más sabor.

В день отьезда,5 апр 2018, гуляли по ЧайнаТаун, решили там же и пообедать...Остановили свой выбор на Hong Hong Buffet, и очень пожалели...Предложен шведский стол за 12,95+ 10% чаевые за обслуживание. Само помещение довольно таки обшарпанное, не опрятное.

Honestly don’t even bother with this place. Food is actually decent but it’s so small and pokey that queuing for the buffet is way too much stress and the staff are so rude and will just squeeze everyone in as much as possible. Worst place for a meal.

It was an absolute car crash from the beginning. The food was the worst I’d ever had, the staff were untrained although extremely polite. We complained about the food being luke warm and the staff took the 2 coca colas off the bill.

In truth the pave looked OK from the outside, in that it seemed reasonably popular. After agreeing to go in with my sister, her husband and daughter, I did think it seemed typical of a low-end eatery. Consistent with other reviews here, I noticed at least one dish in the bain maree setup was cold, which in Australia would present a health issue. Also, I did have to dig and choose a different plate than any of the the three on top of the stacks, since all 3 looked well worn, with knife grooves in them. I can see this makes them look dirty but we'd already committed to eat there. The first course of soup was so thick with corn flour that a spoon nearly stood up on its own, but it did taste OK. Corn flour was a common theme in all dishes, as is often the case in an 'all you can eat' buffet, and as other reviewers noted, some meat dishes were pretty light on. Despite all this, the four of us left feeling we'd eaten what we'd expected in such an establishment. Don't think I'll be heading back in a hurry though, and had I been able to access this forum prior to going on, I would have avoided it. Despite my 2 stars, I should also recommend you look elsewhere

Mirando desde fuera del restaurante (se ve la comida como en un escaparate ) parece apetecible. El trato del personal no es de los mejores (por no llamarles mal educados) Preguntan lo que quieres de beber y te dicen que hay que pagar todo antes (hasta ahí ,ok) Pero supongo que exigen que se pague Antes para evitar que se vayan los clientes cuando vean la comida (el arroz frío y en el caso del pollo con verduras,uno hay que esforzarse para encontrar el pollo entre tanta verdura.Lo mismo con la carne.Sólo después de haber pedido (y pagado ) te fijas en un cartel donde te enteras que en días que haya mucha gente ,no se puede permanecer ali más de 60 minutos) El personal va intentando recoger los platos sin que hayas terminado de cenar todavía y molestando ,preguntando a cada rato si ya hemos acabado.y limpando el suelo con fregona muy cerca de nuestros pies .definitivamente yo no volveré.

Stopped with family to have some lunch on arrival we found tables dirty, small selection of drinks and food COLD and had been out a long time wouldn’t return & wouldn’t recommend, there are a lot of other similar restaurants on the same street that looked much busier and much nicer!

No se ni por donde empezar, el sitio estaba descuidado, la comida escasa y de muy mala calidad, la bebida con precios desorbitados, el servicio pésimo, ni se acercaban a la mesa para retirar los platos usados, el hecho de que no te pusieran ni cuchillos ni vasos de plástico, los baños, en general TODO.

Unfortunately the only good thing about the Hong Kong Buffet was the staff. The food was dreadful, lukewarm, and completely tasteless. I don't feel good writing such a bad review when the staff were so nice but I felt that I must.

Cold, Tasteless and disgusting food! You couldn't make it up how poor this food actually is! I don't think the local rats could eat this muck. At £13 a pop very very poor value for money. Think quick buck from torists springs to mind as the only reason this place is open.

OK - so it's a buffet but there's a good choice of dishes and plenty of meat in them. It's hot and constantly being replenished. Salt and chile prawns were a favourite. Bit chaotic getting between your table and the buffet and slightly crowded but might this be typically Chinese anyway...? There are cheaper buffets but we found their dishes to be all veg and barely any meat.

Horrible horrible horrible. Food was naff, cold and tasteless. Our cider was given to us in plastic cups... they added a service charge on which was a Mickey take and my husband told them to take it off which in fairness they did without arguments.

The food quality in the restaurant was extremely poor. My partner and I tried to solider on after a few bites to try and get our moneys worth, but we couldn't manage. The selection was very small also.

All you can eat Chinese for £13 in central London (£7 for kids). The food was hot and plentiful and replaced very regularly. Good choice of dishes from starters to mains albeit no desserts available (unless you wanted fresh fruit). Only complaint would be how tightly packed into dining area everyone was - certainly you could not have a private conversation!! Also toilets are down some very steep stairs so no good if you have mobility issues. Would recommend for a good cheap meal though and price really good for central London. Note it’s cash only too!

£12.95 for all you can eat buffet for lunch is overpriced, especially when the only desert on offer were orange slices. Drinks are over priced, there's hardly any space and they tried charging us 50p for hot water to warm the baby bottle! Staff were abrupt and rude.

I would have given this no stars or minus stars if there was an option. Singularly the worst meal ever.The buffet was cold and when I told a member of the waiting staff they just looked at me. The prawns hadn't been cleaned of the black gut track , so they were basically serving deep fried prawn poo. I showed the manageress who argued with me and said they couldn't clean the prawns because they fried them! The toilets in the deep basement smelt of ammonia. So we walked out after paying £35 for two buffet plated and a bottle of water.We went home and ordered a Chinese take away from our local. It makes me really angry that such a terrible establishment operates just to take money from tourists. London has been through so much this year and there is a great community spirit. This organisation has no place in London, they have no respect for the people walking through their doors.

Visited tonight. Very basic but decent enough food. With the exception of beef in black bean sauce, whole head shrimp in chilli, salt and pepper, spare ribs which were small, meaty and well coated in sticky sauce, every other meat dish was chicken. Cost was £11.95 per person in cash only, no cards and there was a small service charge of £2.97 (10%) after a Tsingtao beer and a Sprite. No deserts at all. Basic buffet compared to many others nationally but in Chinatown was a very reasonable option. Restaurant is cheap looking, poor quality table and chairs but all told average factoring in everything.

Firstly for all the people moaning about service charge...you do not have to pay it, it is optional so ask to have it removed from the bill. Why would you pay for a help yourself service!This buffet has the largest choice compared to others in Chinatown. I've been twice the first time the food was a bit greasy but the second was very tasty. Ribs were very meaty, soup was nice, sweet and sour chicken was good, noodles, rice etc all good. Spring rolls could do with more filling. Orange was very nice and sweet to finish off.It is the most expensive buffet around and if you want the better quality go to a set menu restaurant or alacarte.

Went here for evening meal without having read TA reviews. Mistake. (I was suspicious when I saw that there was a standard service charge- on a buffet!).The food lacked variety - mostly chicken based, but not present in abundance in any one dish. Ribs were the worst I've ever come across, the coating sweet on the minute amount of actual meat that there was. Dishes were cool, not hot. Staff ok, but obviously instructed to minimise number of plates customers use.Overall, it was over-priced and a disappointment. A place I will avoid in future.

The place was overpriced food was lukewarm, The menu had strange things it wasn't Chinese such as toast and onion rings, staff asked if ever I think was okay when we said no just ignored it and carried on.10% service charge for poor service. Avoid this place. 34 pounds for nasty food.

Ate here with 4 girlfriends, on a theatre day tip to London, love china town, and its close enough to the Coliseum theatre to walk ... Food was surprisingly excellent.. Hot, fresh, tasty, great choice, (thought they don't do duck!) and at £12.95 +10% service charge, for unlimited platefuls is excellent value for money...drinks were reasonable too.. we were not rushed in any way. the staff were friendly, polite and accommodating, and all ate from the buffet, so you know it had to be good..... London can be very expensive, so this really does make for an affordable meal, the whole family can enjoy.... Give it a go, will certainly go again next time I'm in London..

Made the classic mistake of going in one of the first places we saw in Chinatown without checking the reviews first. The restaurant did look busy and the food looked hot, fresh and nice and our hunger drove us inside. As always a bottle of Tsingtao or similar is vastly overpriced but the buffet itself was enjoyable. Not a massive amount of choice but what there was I enjoyed. I would like to have seen more dishes but there isn't a lot of room inside (disappointed there was no squid) but the sweet and sour chicken, chicken curry, spring rolls and beef dishes were enjoyable and it was quite good value. Next time I'd probably research the area first and go elsewhere.

Visited the place with my partner and first impressions are ok. Food basic and limited but looks ok. Food was bland and of poor quality. Tables way to close together to other people making it uncomfortable. Restaurant (if you can call it that) that extremely hot and poorly ventilated. Toilets - disgusting. Never been cleaned and vents all clogged up with dirt. Not cheap for the quality and when I went to pay, they incurred a service charge. ITS A BUFFET!?! They only served the drinks and nothing else and all for two people. This was not mentioned prior to entering. Cash only as well to make things perfect. TERRIBLE PLACE NEEDS CLOSING DOWN IMMEDIATELY!!!

Came into London for a short getaway trip and fancied the china town area, for one this place states cash only which was annoying as we had to find a cash machine in the busy area. Sat down in a cramped area with no air conditioning and only one fan in the restaurant on so you can imagine the discomfort. Paid £2.50 for a small glass of coke which wasn't even cold, the food was minimalistic A few dishes on offer, after eating here I'm starting to worry that ill probably get food poisoning never felt that way over a Chinese buffet. When we finished i felt like i didn't even want to pay for the one plate i ate, yet we had to pay £12.95 each and £2.50 for two drinks but the cheek of actually putting a £2.75 service charge!! For what bringing me a warm coke and clearing a plate!!!! The toilets need cleaning and tbh the place needs shutting down, never again would i be returning brings shame to the china town area!!!

The Hong Kong Buffet in China Town London serve all that you can eat. The varieties of food are thetre but nothing special. Can do and fair taste.

Ci siamo fermati qui più per la fame che per scelta visto che erano ormai passate le 9 di sera; buona scelta, cibo discreto, alette di pollo da cestinare, il resto passabile, ma la cosa che ha dato più fastidio è l'assoluta indifferenza e la fretta di chiudere.Aprono i ristoranti e poi i clienti danno fastidio, poveri cinesi!Posto da evitare!

Při návštěvě čínské čtvrti v Londýně jsme tuto restauraci zvolili pro pozdní oběd a udělali dobře. Dali jsme si jídlo formou bufetu a pochutnali si na všem, co bylo v nabídce

After seeing a show decided a trip to China Town to experience a Chinese buffet restaurant. Hong Kong buffet looked OK from the front but be aware it's not what it seems!!! The staff rude and unhelpful, the food terrible with limited choice. They even add the tip to the bill no choice whether to pay or not and it's Cash Only which seems a bit strange maybe the tax man needs to take a look. The tables basic and they only offer spoon and fork no knives bit difficult when you need to cut the food. Thing I found quite funny they have the trip advisor sticker in the window note to self check out the restaurant before sitting at a table. Still dealing with the after taste of the third rate Chinese food.

Rule number 1 - The best place to get Chinese food in London these days, is sadly not Chinatown. However, if you are in Chinatown and need a quick meal - this is not your best option. Quick and cheapish, yes. But the food is very average. Edible but bland, tepid and clearly made with no love at all. The selection is also lacking variety and just odd. Prawn toast with no prawns or sesame seeds - is just fried toast in my book! Slim pickings from the rest. To cap things off, they tried to leave us an old five pound note as change despite the fact that they were no longer legal tender 2 weeks ago! Clearly not a mistake, but them hoping to offload one onto a poor tourists who wouldn't know any better! Poor form. This place is clearly serving food purely for monetary reasons as there is not one indication that any love has been put into the food, service or restaurant itself. A return visit is somewhat unlikely!

La qualità non è un granché, ma il buffet è nettamente più vario rispetto agli standard degli altri ristoranti cinesi della zona, da quanto ho potuto vedere. Il locale mi è piaciuto particolarmente. Se ci fosse stata la possibilità, avrei messo 3 stelle e mezzo.
