La razón principal para visitar es las vistas, se puede ver a Leicester Square y más allá, así que es muy bonito, especialmente por Navidad. Las bebidas, ambiente etc. como cabe esperar de la zona. Yo asistí a una fiesta de San Valentín, sin embargo, una vez aquí la noche que fue excepcional, nos sirvieron estaba vestida de hors d'oeuvre y delicioso champagne por un personal atento y toda la zona muy bien. Hay sitios mucho peores para visitar en las inmediaciones.

Lovely views, terrible drinks that take forever to make. Toilets were very smelly and needed attention. Poorly patched up paintwork around bar. Horrible entrance to the rooftop area, not very glamorous. Far nicer places around.

This place has always been hit or miss on my trips to London, but for the most part a great time. I go with locals so we usually have no problems with the line (que). Also we usually get some type of hook up for the door, but I know the prices aren't too bad. A little something for everyone as each level has different music. Drinks aren't the cheapest but I usually splurge by buying bottles when I visit. I'll continue to go on my visits as there's always a little something for everyone here.

Club abbastanza discreto si trova nella "penthouse" di un bellissimo palazzo con vista magnifica,sopratutto di notte , sul london eye. Drink economici rispetto la media e musica di tutti i generi.

There are promoters everywhere so finding a deal shouldn't be too hard. The place is nice with enough dance floor and a good view of the square. Drinks were good. The prices were ok but on the high side. The music was good. We ended our night here and had a lot of interesting encounters on the way out of the club as well as on the way home!

Muy corazón vibración sirve bebidas caras 20 minutos tarde antes de la hora. No todos una idea de donde se consiguen aquellos que particularismo comportados porteros. al menos hacer el trabajo como un buen cochero ser apreciada, pero yo iría en favor de sus personas y no tiene un sentido de imponga una diferenciación entre borrachos y sobrio y todavía consigue a desconectar sobrio gente. No quisiera que nadie gastar un montón de dinero para conseguir en el club y arruinar su noche.

Came in to celebrate my birthday party which turned into a horrible nightmare , all thanks to that short and inconsiderate bouncer .Firstly the entry fee was not fixed .We were group of 13 . Groups were meant to be charged £10 per person , but the guy decided to charge £10 for female and £15 for male.never heard of such price differences for male or female !!!Not enough couches available to take a rest after a tiredful dance.so came outside to have a smoke and for some fresh air .As i have Lupus and get tired really quickly , me and one of my friend tried to sit down on the FLOOR but were told off by one of the short bouncer to get up .Okay, fine got up had a cigarette , and when we were heading towards the door to get in the club we were pushed outside .no reason for him to push us , we were not even drunk with those highly priced drinks ,There were lots of drunk people screaming, swearing ,smoking , but why did he choose to push us out , when we had done nothing but just wanted to rest and have a good smoke outside .when asked why ???? the bouncer could not give me a proper answer .After meeting the manager of the club he easily promises to offer free drinks for us in our next visit .Excuse me!!!! but is free drinks enough to compensate the embarrassment that me and my friend had to suffer after being pushed out for no reason (was my birthday).It was not like we didn't pay for our entry or for our drinks .we were deprived of our own right to speak (explain )and to go inside as we had paid in full and was our right !!!!!!The bouncer was very very rude and inconsiderate . not fit to be a human being .he should be sacked from his job .Worst ever club i have ever been to !!!! i would not recommend this club to anyone , especially not on your birthday , and not in groups where they charge different rates according to your gender .

Been going Penthouse for years. Have had so many great nights with friends. Its not as good as it use to be. The managers need to be bit stricter on who they let it. Staff are friendly. They need to lower the drinks price though.

I went here with my partner and his brother on a Thursday night after a show. We didn't have plans on going here but were persuaded with free entry and shot. We thought if it was bad we would just leave but as we didn't know the area we thought it was worth a look in. We ended up partying here though until early hours of the morning. We all had a great time. Drinks weren't over priced like we thought they would be so you can stay out a lot longer. Make sure you go before 11pm to make most of the free entry. Anything after that it's £10!

My friend and I visited The Penthouse, Saturday 30th August and we arrived at around 5pm as we wanted to take advantage of the 2-4-1 cocktails.We eventually found it (its on the side of The Rise building) and went up to the top floor, you have to walk up two flights of stairs then get a lift, no problem at all. The bar had a few people in there but wasn't that busy yet, which we liked. The views were great!The offer is on from 4pm - 8pm not until 10pm as advertised online (I sent The Penthouse a message about this, and they responded apologising and that they would have it changed), and you have to buy two of the same cocktails in order to qualify for the 2-4-1 offer, as my friend and I did not want the same thing we had to buy 4 cocktails, and all were made at the same time, so option to have the other 2 after we had finished the first 2. Also, the menu in The Penthouse is not as advertised online. The cocktails were average, certainly not the best I have ever had so glad we weren't paying full price for them, had better in a pub in Camden, 2 for £9.50!Barman brought drinks to our table, however, he came over when we were halfway through our second cocktails and said "Are you having more drinks or do you want the bill?", thought this was a bit rude and didn't make us feel very welcome. Bill was brought to us and we paid and left the money on the table (as we do in most London bars), we then went back out onto the terrace and spent another 10/15 mins outside, when we came back inside our money was still on the table, so I then picked it up and found someone to give it to.As stated though, the view was really good and I probably would return but only when the 2-4-1 offer was on. We didn't eat but the food did smell good. No seats outside, probably enough room for some stools.

I decided to organise my best friend henparty in penthouse. The manager Mustapha was so helpful from the beginning he managed a pretty VIP table with table service for us. Everything was just perfect, We felt we are so special. We had amazing hen night, everyone enjoyed it a lot! We definitely coming back!! Thanks a lot!!!

We decided to host our Summer party at this venue and I really have to say the manager Joanne was brilliant. She made sure everything ran smoothly and worked well with our budget. Would definiately recommend and we are even hoping to hold our Xmas do here also.Thanks again to all the team!!

3 potes qui se baladent à Picadilly et qui se font accoster pour une boîte au 6eme étage pour 5 livres? Évidemment il fallait le voir pour le croire! Et... Il ne fallait pas s'attendre à un miracle! La fameuse terrasse avec vue sur tout Londres ferme à 22h. Pourtant, ce fut un bon moment avec de la musique street au 6eme et de la musique commerciale au 7eme. Un peu prétentieux sur le papier, mais qui sait profiter de ses avantages.

I had been to this club before and was not a massive fan but I was outvoted by friends who hadnt been there before. Drinks are very much overpriced but it was the the bar staff who were the real let down. I think I may be being harsh to tarnish all the bar staff with the same brush as the girls going round with the shot trays were friendly. The bald guy behind the bar who looked as though he had lip implants was so unfriendly and really did not want to be there. Sighing all the time. Leaning at the back of the bar, doing nothing when there was a big queue. Complained when I was paying by card. One person I was with wanted vodka, soda and lime (granted its a weird choice) and this guy just sighed and said "reallly?...can I just use lemonade?". To a point - I agreed with him but who is he to question what I order. Think captain trout pout should consider a career change.

I went to the Penthouse for my friends 21st birthday last Friday, where she had reserved a table at the bar for food and drinks for around 7.30pm. Unfortunately, due to our trains running late we were around 15-20 minutes late and we were unable to call them. When we arrived we were told that our table had been given away because we were 15 minutes late, and there was nothing they could do because the people who had taken our table were 'spending big money'. Despite arguing our case that we weren't extremely late, and that they should have tried to contact us if they were about to give away our table, we were told that even if we had called to tell them we were running slightly late they wouldn't have saved our table anyway. As well as this, because we were no longer eating we were denied our free entry stamps into the club later on that we were initally promised we could have (which is £20 entrance fee).After arguing some more, a waitress agreed that if we bought a cocktail each we could get a stamp for the evening. We tried explaining that we should just get the stamp regardless because we had reserved a large table that they gave away after 15 minutes without any attempt to contact us (meaning we now had to go and find a large table at a restauraunt elsewhere). However, she would not budge. In addition, two of our party were going to the airport early Saturday so were not staying for the later part of the evening. They both had large bags on them, and when we called to book the table for dinner we specifically asked whether there was a cloakroom available for the girls to leave their bags in. We were reassured that there was, and that on our arrival the girls could put their bags away until they needed to leave. When we finally agreed to buy a cocktail to get a stamp, we were told that in fact there was no cloakroom available until 10pm, and there was 'literally nowhere' (in a multi-story club) that they could put the bags for half an hour whilst we begrudgingly drunk our one cocktail each. This meant sitting in a fairly nice, crowded, London bar with a backpack and a suitcase for 20 minutes before leaving to find somewhere to eat. I know a big part of the problem here was us arriving late, but it was only by 15 minutes and we were travelling from Hertfordshire. We did apologise as this was obviously our error, but what I found so infuriating was that the staff were SO unhelpful and unwilling to accomodate us.They also were really flippant, and wouldn't apologise or take responsibility for the fact that the information given to us by one of their staff on the phone was obviously incorrect. It was dissapointing because this was a night out in London for a big birthday, but they couldn't care less because they knew that regardless of whether we stayed or not they would get money from elsewhere. The hospitality was just poor, and I wouldn't recommend it for any special occassion because if travel plans don't run smoothly - which very often they don't - you won't be able to save your table even if you let them know (apparently). So perhaps if you're in London and fancy a drink pop up there, because the views are nice, but go only for happy hour because otherwise cocktails are £10 each and arguably not worth that amount.

Went to look for a nice club to hang out. Guy approached us asking if we are looking for a night club. He offered us The Penthouse and Ruby Blue (not surprised, both are terrible). After seeing that I'm not sure about this idea he offered a free entry for me and £10 for my boyfriend's entrance. Music was a total rubbish, the atmosphere's gloomy. No menu so you have no idea what to buy if you're not for beer. I thought that I'm in some kind of cheap rap music video by the people that were around. I rested my bottom on the backrest of the sofa. Was shooed away by the security guard. Is this actually a kindergarten? Drank our horrible beer and ran away. Not coming back.

We went on a Thursday to have some drinks around 9pm, it was still the Happy Hour until 10pm.As we went to order our cocktails, the bartender told us there wasn't ice anymore so he couldn't do the cocktails. Come on it was 9pm ! "It was gone in 5minutes". It wasn't so crowded and we still think that he was making ice but for after the Happy Hour... Very very strange... So we were more than disappointed. Fortunately we didn't pay any fee charge to enter otherwise it would have been scandalous !The view looked very nice so too disappointed we couldn't drink our cocktails on the terrace !

On a warm evening we were looking for somewhere outside, which on a busy sunny day in central London is a little difficult! We were stopped in Leicester Square by a friendly man who worked for Penthouse who pointed up to the top floor terrace, 241 cocktails, we have it a go. The lift on the way up wasn't very pleasing to the eye. Going up to somewhere called The Penthouse I feel like the loft should be part of the experience.The cocktails were nice, 2 for £9.50 not bad for the area plus a charge to pay by card under £10 which is annoying.We say outside (you had to take chairs from inside) and it was a good place for the view.The bar just feels a bit shabby though. The glass, doors and the whole decor and interior gives it a sort of cheap tacky feel which is a shame!

This is a pretty cool club overlooking Leicester Square with views of the city. The drinks aren't cheap but the music is good.

It depends what you're after. Watered down drinks (tick), bad customer service (tick), rubbish music (tick). The only nice attraction is the views. I was there on Friday 30 May 2014 and booked a seating area. They were pleasant enough when we were constantly buying food and drinks, but when I complained about one of the drinks being watered down, they lost their fake smiles and became aggressive. I will never venture to that place again. London has loads of fantastic bars and clubs; I left and went to the casino in Leicester Square and had a fab night, plus the drinks actually had alcohol in them!

Arranged to go here for a friends birthday last night. She had previously arranged for around 20 of us to be on the guest list. We arrived without my friend as she was on her way. Apparently we were not on the guest list so we were told to pay £20 each entry. We asked if we could tell them some names that would be on the guest list and they told us rudely we had to wait for our friend as she needed to show proof. Cannot believe the rudeness of the staff! When someone argued that this was not very good they were told 'this girl is not coming in' therefore we had to leave and go somewhere else. There are so many people that go in to this club that they can afford to be very rude and charge extortionate amounts. Having been in here before for about ten minutes I knew it wasn't very good anyway. Expensive drinks, expensive entry and awful staff (mainly a power trip girl on reception and the door staff). Silver lining - we ended up having a great night in ruby blues which was £5 entry and a much bigger club!

I am only reviewing the early part of the premises. The entrance is No1 Leicester Square. Take the lift up to the 7th floor. The happy hour runs from 4-10pm on a 2-4-1 basis £9.50 per 2 drinks from a specific drinks list. Great views friendly staff, lounge seating. Low level of background music. They do offer food but when we went there seemed to be a kitchen problem. They gave us free chips.

I was treated with no respect by bouncers. Some guys in the club have created problems, and they, by using violence have me thrown out, even if I had not done anything wrong. they were racists: they told me "dirty Italian take away your dirty smell"this is racism. I'll never go back in there. it's was disgusting and mortifying.

Dreary place with outdated decor and shrieking women's parties. Up a lift that has seen better days. Fortunately cocktails were 2 for 1 and the view across Leicester Square and the rooftops of London. Saving grace.

Slightly dated cocktail bar/restaurant in Leicester Square, Stumbled across it and the cocktails were on offer, mid afternoon happy hour, but they were pretty grim! However the views from the balcony are amazing, especially at dusk as landmarks start to light up!

Cocktails waren goed. Enkel de flirtini was geen goede keuze. Tot 10 pm happy hour, 2cocktails voor de prijs van 1. Schitterend uizicht over de stad!!!

We arrived early on a Saturday night, around 10pm after having been convinced to go by a promoter walking around in Leicester Square. He initially told us we had a bargain - entrance for 10 pounds each (instead of apparently 20 later in the evening). After a little negotiation we got entry for all 5 of us for free...!The cocktail bar on the top floor is good, however quite expensive, and the service is very slow. We waited more than 15 minutes to get served at the bar each time. Later in the evening there was a DJ who played good music.Was a nice experience (the view is great!), but wouldn't go back in a hurry.

This is a fantastic cocktail bar with beautiful views of London and I'd recommend the place as such. 2-4-1 cocktails, friendly service and good for a few evening weekend drinks with a view.

Went to celebrate a friends birthday on 28/02/14 and was left very disappointed...My girlfriend and I arrived slightly behind the main party of our friends, they were at the front of a large queue, but we were allowed to push in with our friends. (Great for us, not so great for everyone else). We were charged £25 for the two of us to get in, £10 for my girlfriend and £15 for me. Sexist and quite expensive, even if it is central London. Upon entry we went to the R&B room (Floor 8?) and hung our coats up, the queue was long, the staff member was rude and we was charged £4 for the privilege! We stayed in this room all night, music was good, but the bar was very bad. We got the impression the bar staff think they are above everyone and can consequently charge between £5 to £7 for a bottle of larger (half a pint), price dependant on how they felt at the point of the night. The highlight of the night was when I got asked to leave by the bouncers for being too drunk, however I was stood queuing patiently by the bar. If your in two minds whether to visit this place, give it a miss! Clearly out to rip people off with obvious intention.

There is one very simple bouncer working there, (When I say simple wow he is simple), he is clearly someone who feels he is of importance there :) working 28th Feb 2014 ), He asked me if I had a reservation, I said no but I normally relax at the bar, but the simpleton said he didn't like my attitude and said bye? Awfully Rude Simple Bouncer who deserved to be fired, I have been drinking there for 3 years comfortably spending 10-12K there a year but this moron has put me off the place, Has gone downhill Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have been coming to penthouse regularly for a long time and never had a bad night, the music is good and the views are cool, it's a must visit club in central london

I just came back from an awful night in the penthouse club, must be my worst experience ever. they just let anyone in, all the men are ttrying to touch girls and one guy harassed AND attacked me while security didnt kick the guy out until we threatened them. stay away if you are classy and not looking for someone to grab you by the bum!

Horrible time there, 15 pounds to get in and the door staff promessed us a 3.50£ drinks only , no card accepted at the entrance and no receipt issued, when I told him that the staff could say so downstairs before people get in, this guy started being extremely rude and even told me : " Did you ask downstairs ? so do not complain ...." very cocky !!! Tried to find the cloakroom, with a sign downstairs saying :"cloakroom" 8th floor, got to the top floor and there , cloakroom had closed long time ago and we got told to go to the 1st floor for the cloakroom...Bar upstairs was ridiculous with only two bartenders to serve the crowd. 15 minutes waiting to get a chance to order 3 drinks : total of the bill 22 pounds for 3 beers (still wondering what was the 3.5£ drink) .Sound quality was extremely poor, far too loud, well over 140 decibels i think , was even painful .Security staff extremely rude and cowboy style, one of the guy pushed my girlfriend on purpose many times to stand where she was standing . We decided to leave after 30 minutes and 45 pounds lost in the air. But decided to talk to a staff member before leaving to express our disappointment. The answer from one of the managers was : you can send a mail to our webpage but anyway this is london .... Will never see my face again !

Been here a few times now & there is much better. We pre-booked to be on the guest list but got a cold welcome when we told them that at entry. They said we had to either pay now (11:30pm) & get stamped to come back or we could not pay guest price even if we turned up before 12:30 which was on our email confirmation. The bar staff really need to smile, what a miserable lot, even if busy service should be with a smile. There were plenty of tipsy ladies falling in their heels because the lift was not always working & they had to trot up & down stairs. The RnB floor (6) got very busy but music was good for those who like that. There were plenty of annoying men outside asking us to go Penthouse - made the club sound desperate! It's not ideal to go up & down so many stairs for all those who smoke. The only good thing about this club is the great view across London - good for tourist to see, good for groups but overall not my choice. The only reason I've been a few times is because of the location.

Discoteca al sesto piano in piena Leicester Squadre che gode di un bellissimo panorama nel quale si vedono il London Eye, il Big Ben e tutto lo skyline della City. Oltre a ciò' rimane un disco bar un po' bruttino prettamente turistico credo, vista la composizione del pubblico. Ingresso gratuito per gruppi misti uomini/donne. Consumazione a prezzo giusto. Vale una visita solo per il panorama e per sentire un po' di musica nel tempo necessario a bere qualcosa.

I've seen some really bad reviews on here and I'm shocked!This was my 3rd visit to the Penthouse, my last was New Years Eve!The club is located of the 6/7/8th floors, entry via lift. There are excellent views of the square and all the way over central London.For London the prices for entry / drinks are as expected, basically, if you want a £3 pint...Go to weatherspoons. The bottles menu is again as expected for London. £140 for a bottle of vodka is expected. We typically stick to the 7/8th floors as the atmosphere is more relaxed and the 6th floor is usually FULL which ruins the experience. Always worth a visit if in Lecister Sq, but I've never stayed all night and moved onto other clubs!My food review below is relating to the last time I ate here!

Visited here on Monday night and was possibly the worst club I've ever been to. Bar staff didn't give me the right change, drinks were really watered down. Staff seemed to take advantage of drunk people and charge them double, definitely would never go back or recommended to anyone. You have to walk up 6 flights of stairs to even get to club! Only positive is the view. Floors are sticky, stinks of feet, toilets are filthy, rude staff, full of scum bags!! DO NOT GO HERE.

It's a very cheap, tacky and over priced place!! Firstly they have hundreds of men outside asking you to come in and then as we were inside it was such an uncomfortable atmosphere. The drinks were very expensive too! Nothing positive to say about this place. Also when in the elevator they don't drop you to your floor they clearly say 'get the stairs' such a big big disappointment!! Complete lack of respect for customers!!

I've only been here once and will never go again, as I felt totally mugged off from the moment I walked in. I undertand that places in central London are likely to be more expensive than average, but this place is just robbery. I paid £8 to get in, we were directed to the 8th floor, there was no DJ, entertainment or anything other than what seemed to be a compilation CD to justify the entrance fee, one of my party got charged £7 for a half of beer, yes £7 for a HALF!! And just to really add insult to injury, when I went to the toilet I got told off by the cleaner for using 2, or maybe at most 3 paper towels, he was really rude and didn't even explain why just said "you only use one". Excuse me!! When I've been charged £8 to get in, and my party has wasted nearly £200 in your club for about an hour's entertainment I'll use however many paper towels I like! I think it was that last bit which really incensed me but there was so much more. Avoid this place at all costs, I've never felt so ripped off in my life! The only positive is that the views are nice but it really isn't worth what they charge you. Stay away!

We last visited this place mid 2012 and last reviewed it on 28th September 2011. I had been speaking at a function and husband said he would take me for dinner at the Penthouse. Well what a disappointment! We have been to this restaurant several times in the last few years and although in recent times it has looked a bit faded and jaded we were not expecting to go all the way to the top of the building to be faced with a restaurant with no tables! There are low upholstered armless chairs and coffee tables, menus which are boring to say the least and generally the atmosphere was unwelcoming. I know we are a middle aged couple and they are probably looking for the young things to make their establishment trendy but the change is so distinct that we will not be going there again. We didn't even sit down as my husband has had operations on his knees and would not have been comfortable on the low seats.

Awful, awful, awful place - I cannot believe there are even any positive reviews here....Complete lack of basic respect for customers. Did not know of this place before going there. We were charged 20 pounds each to go to the nightclub (no receipts given). 2 choices, either take the elevator or climb 6 flights of stairs, no crowd control (the crowd and patrons of this place would take a whole other review, but no difference in rating), when we could not get access to the elevator we asked (less than 5 minutes later) for our money back. The girl at the desk (aggresive) said there was no way, did we have receipts. we explained calmly that a) they were not issuing receipts and b) we couldn't even get up to the nightclub. A whole ridiculous series of events followed where we were promised free drinks and access to VIP area to then being kicked out but with a refund.... something very strange going on there (particularly with the charging, doubt they are being honest and declaring) it is also a fire hazard. Cannot recommend a place less - avoid at all costs.

Not worth the money, went in with 6 people, two left within 20 min it was that bad.Putting tops in the cloakroom is compulsory (as is the huge queue to put them in), even if you have seats you are sitting on which you can put them on.Drinks cost about twice what they do in most London clubs.Plus, there is a huge charge on top if you pay by card (I can't recall exactly, I think it was 20%), taking cash is a must.The rest of us left after the first drink.Crowd was very cheap-type, music suited them perfectly.View from the top is OK, nothing special though.

Visited here recently as part of a large group and will definitely return. A great location and fabulous views from the top terrace. If you visit London try to make this one of your stops.

Like all clubs in this area, the prices could be a little more reasonable, but the venue itself is nice and has three floors with views of London.

Having a daughter who lives in London certainly has it's advantages. We get to see places that we would normally not know about.The penthouse is just off Leicester Square and is on the 7th floor. It has a balcony for you to go onto and the view is amazing. You can see the London Eye, the Shard, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and much more. Worth calling in for a cocktail or two!!

After being persuaded in by a chap on the street offering 2 4 1 cocktails, we decided to give it a go, and once we reached 'the penthouse' it seemed ok. After finding some seats we chose our cocktails and I went to the bar to order, only to be ushered back to my seat by an over enthusiastic waitress who wanted to offer me table service. Given that we were on a tight deadline as we were off to the theatre afterwards I was keen to place an order as soon as possible. The waitress came and took our order relatively quickly, but unfortunately this was followed by a 20 minute wait for our drinks. Given the delay, we asked for our bill as soon as the drinks were served, when it came, I immediately handed it back to the waitress with the money, she returned my change and all was well. The cocktails were good and the views weren't bad either. Unfortunately, the entire trip was then overshadowed when we left. As we exited the venue on to the busy street, we were humiliated by a waitress running after us, grabbing my shoulder and accusingly stating that 'excuse me ladies you haven't paid your bill'. When we explained that we had, we were told we hadn't, she had checked with another waitress and we had definately not paid. By this point we were incredulous, we gave a description of the waitress we had paid and explained that we were not the sort of people to run off without paying. The waitress did not seem to believe us and did not apologise for her accusational behaviour. In the end we just walked away but I have never been so appalled by the 'customer service' skills and I will NOT be returning. Ironically if she had just allowed me to order my drinks at the bar like a normal establishment none of this would have happened!

Sono stata qualche giorno fa per la prima volta in questo bellissimo ristorante londinese. Si trova al settimo piano di un palazzo che si affaccia sulla centralissima Leicester square, e da lì si può godere, durante la cena, di una spettacolare vista su Londra. Sono rimasta davvero senza parole! L'arredamento è moderno e curato, con enormi divani bianchi e tavolini, il personale gentilissimo. E' possibile entrare anche soltanto per bere qualcosa, ma lo consiglio anche come ristorante: hamburger e pollo davvero buoni, e prezzi ottimi!!! Durante l'happy hour anche le bevande sono tutte scontate (ad es. due pinte di birra al prezzo di una).... Alla fine della cena ci hanno offerto di entrare gratuitamente al club situato al piano sottostante. Tirando le somme: trovarlo è stata una vera fortuna!

After changing location for a meeting I had with a high profile client my colleague recommended this place, although dubious about the other reviews I had read on here my colleague assured me that our client wouldn't forget the experience. This one time I have eaten my words. I was gob smacked, met outside by a lovely northern girl who proceeded to take us in a scenic lift to the 7th floor where we were introduced to a very well presented South African bar tender who made the most delicious cocktails at a reasonable price (happy hour 4-9pm) table service to low lounge style furntiure and providied with a menu incase we wanted nibbles. We ordered a greek sharing platter and for the 2 of us and this was plenty to keep us going whilst talking, finally we succumed to the outstanding views of london from Westminster right round to the Shard and Gerkin. Needless to say both of us will never forget this experience, I will definatley be bringing more clients to this venue, thank you for helping me secure a brilliant deal with your fantastic staff, view, food and cocktails!

Me and my friends were looking for a night out and found out that if you spend £20 or more in the restaurant you get free club entry! And to make it even better it was 2-4-1 on cocktails till 9pm! The balcony was good as well as my friends are smokers and so it saved them from having to walk downstairs, it also had a lovely view over London.The food was sooo good! The cocktails were great and the club was the highlight of the night, had such a good atmosphere!Would recommend Penthouse to anyone looking for a nice sophisticated night out and great food at reasonable prices =)

I came to the restaurant during the week with my boyfriend. Booking was very easy and hassle free. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn't busy so we requested to move to another table and the staff happily obliged. The food was well cooked and arrived hot. The wine on the menu was very reasonable too. We both enjoyed our meal, and the lovely views across london. The bill wasn't dear at all (£50 for 2 for a 3 course meal & wine) but we did have a tastecard, which offered 50% off of food.I have been to the nightclub which is good, very touristy, and not a cheap night out. But I much prefer the restaurant to the nightclub. Would recomment to all (providing you have a tastecard!)

I booked a table for the pre-theatre menu 3-4 weeks before my boyfriend and I were coming down to London - they even rang me to confirm that the table had been booked. Then on the train down to London, on the day we were supposed to be dining there, i received a voicemail saying there was a mix up with the girl who booked the table and they cannot accomodate us tonight - Happy New Year! How rude! Wouldnt mind but i spoke to a male voice!Shame they didnt want our business as i chose it as it looks nice with great views on the net but i suppose it wasnt ment to be - reading other reviews - it looks like this isnt a rare occurrance or being turned away on the night!We ate at another restaurant which was very yummy, good service and had 20% off food with theatre tickets on the same street as the show! No reservation required.

It's one of my favorite places in London!New cocktails menu is fabulous! btw, 2for1 cocktails with the view like that, it's just fantastic.Well done!

This is a lovely restaurant in a great location and amazing view. The staff are always very friendly and the food is delicious.

we booked a table here for my birthday for the pre theatre menu for 3 of us, We received an email confirming our booking but when we arrived were turned away on the stairs by a member of staff and told the restaurant was shut for a private event.I contacted the person who had emailed the confrmation and received a lengthy reply saying she thought everyone had been told and that she would look into it and get back to me the very next dayThis was a few weeks ago and i havent heard anything else...so basically dont book as like us you may end up in the middle of august in leicester square desperately trying to find a table so that you can eat in time to get to your showAppalling way to treat people!

This could be a top London Venue if the owners had imagination it would be No 1.A group of us booked this venue and were really excited the website looks great.Restaurant - when we turned up we were not greeted or acknowledged for 10 minutes. Due to the group size we pre-ordered our food.The food was terrible it is basically frozen food that they heat up but isn't well cooked to begin with. One of the chicken dishes was half a chicken, while another was a breast but in the food desription you would not have worked this out. Some of the food was warm whilst the plates were too hot. Some people got starters with their mains, that is how poor the service was. The desserts were tasteless and the ice-cream was crystallised. Luckily no-one in the group got food poisioning. The fish dish is a no-order zone it is just tiny bits of fried fish that tastes like cardboard. Will never come back here for food. The decor is damaged and doesn't fit in with where the venue is situated. The club is not for Adults but for 16-18 yr olds who've been let out for the first time by their parents, anyone else is too old.Will never come back here, it's unfortunate as it has so much potential it could be a 5star venue not the 1star it is.

We went during their happy hour (4-7 pm) cocktails werent great so we decided to leave it wasnt busy at the time the waitress didnt seem too pleased and charged us a 12.5% service charge for two drinks!! We have been before and this has never happened would not reccommend or go again, beware they also charge 15% on top of anything if you pay by card.

I went with my girlfriends on the weekend for dinner and nightclub. The food was fast, well priced and enjoyable. Cocktails were 2 for the price of 1The service was lovely we were greeted, welcomed and after our meal the manager not only gave us an area on the top floor but had a dance with us and gave the birthday girl sparklers!Thanks penthouse for a great evening!

Siamo capitati in questo locale attirati dalla tema della serata, un giovedì sera: hip hop r&b.Ci sono i buttadentro su Leicester Square ed essendo donna non ho pagato l'ingresso.una volta dentro, si lascia la giacca al guardaroba dove invece che il vecchio numerino viene presa da un apparecchio futuristico la impronta digitale, quindi si sale al settimo piano dove si apre un loft con un bar piuttosto sfornito, divani lungo la parete a vetro che si affaccia su tutta Londra e una pista in cui ballare la musica della serata.Anche qui, nessuna selezione: dalla gente in tuta, ragazze in minigonna e scarpe con tacco altissimo rigorosamente parcheggiate da qualche parte o tenute in mano, qualche italiano vestito da tronista.Musica r&b tendente al commerciale, piacevole. Consigliatissimo per la location.

questo ristorante è unico nel suo genere!!!se sapete dove è empire cinema nel Leicester square...ecco li al 7 piano si trova questo ristorante!l'entrata e di lato.comunque....il ristorante è molto elegante...il cibo squisito e i prezzi normali...dopo la cena si trasforma in un bel lounge bar ..con un panorama mozzafiato su london eye...e il parliament e sul central london...verramente da andarci!!JUST LOVE IT!

Unfortunately we had chose a cold February evening to have dinner at The Penthouse, so selecting a window seat probably wasn't the best place to eat and keep warm. When they turned off the outside heaters on the balcony that's when you felt the drafts through the windows, so much so we had to put our scarves on again. Watch out when ordering the steak, although tasty, we ordered medium rare and got medium to well done, only noticed half way through eating. Coffee wasn't that great either. On the plus side, the music was great and the service was fast. Won't be going back.

I have been to london a few times but was disgusted this time round. I was walking past and was stopped by a club representative. After asking him where was good to go he told me he could get me into Penthouse for a fee which was out of my price range. When I told him I was not interested he violently swore at me and called me offensive names. He then claimed I had wasted his time. He was aggressive from the start and definitely put me off going in!

In need of a bit of TLC furniture wise and difficult to find however worth looking for. Good service but 12.5% service added (be aware as I think that is quite a lot), £14 early bird two course menu which was good value and cannot fault the food or service. It is on the 7th floor overlooking the city with a balcony to view and take photos of London.

La receptionist che vi accoglie all'ingresso situato al 1° piano vi scorterà fino al 7° piano dell'edificio che si raggiunge con un ascensore panoramico. E i panorama è il tema centrale di una visita al Penthouse, perchè al di là del cibo non eccelso, del servizio un po' claudicante, dell'arredamento un po' consunto e datato quello che non si può non ammirare è il fantastico panorama di Londra che si gode dalle ampie vetrate del locale mentre seduti ai tavoli del ristorante o nei salottini del bar si consumano le ricette dello chef o i rutilanti cocktail del barman.In realtà The Penthouse è molto più famoso per il club, ma cenare al ristorante di venerdì consente l'ingresso gratuito al night e quindi diventa un grande affare, specie per chi ha la TASTECARD con cui si ottiene il 50% di sconto sul cibo.Assolutamente consigliato per la location.

Ich bin normalerweise nicht besonders pingelig wenn es um's Essen geht, aber das war einfach schlecht. Ich hatte Huehnchen mit Pilzen und Pomme Frites bestellt und meine Freundin Fish und Chips. Mein Huehnchen war 1/2, aber leider ohne Bruststuecke, so dass ich die ganze Zeite nach Fleisch pulen musste. Die Friten waren so wie sie aussahen aus der Tiefkuehltuete und der Fisch meiner Freundin schmeckte auch sehr oll. Das einzig gute waren die Pilze. Wir hatten einen Caramel Pancake als dessert, welcher allerdings gut war.Dieser ist aber super. Es geht ein Balkon um die 1/2 des Restaurants herum auf dem man entlang gehen kann und von dem aus man Westminster, dir Gherkin, das London Eye und auf Leicester Square herunter sehen kann. Wir hatten auch Glueck am Fenster zu sitzen, so dass wir den Blick die ganze Zeit geniessen konnten. An einem Sommerabend wirklich schoen. Im Raum stehen auch gemuetliche Sofas, so dass man sich zu einem gemuetlichen Getraenk hinsetzen kann.Fuer's Essen wuerde ich da auf keinen Fall noch einmal hingehen, vielleicht fuer den Nachtisch. Die Preise fuer das Essen sind sehr unangemessen, aber man zahlt hier fuer den Ausblick.Wenn man hier gegessen hat, bekommt man freien Eintritt in den Nachtclub.
