Family celebrations for a 70th birthday x staff and food was great. Special shout out to Lauren for her care and attention to our family party needs

A very nice pub for food, drinks and value for money!! Staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them. The 2 meals for £12 were great. I initially thought the place needed some work doing but the man at the bar with the glasses told me they're getting a refurbishment in November which is good to hear, I'll definitely return during the festive period to check out the changes!!

First time visit. The staff were really attentive. Especially the gentleman, I think he was the owner. Can’t remember his name!!!! Didn’t catch his name! He was really helpful, kind and informative and he let me taste some of the gelato before I chose them for my sundae, which is not a given in most places. The presentation of the desserts were impeccable. I really enjoyed it and I will definitely visit back here again..the only thing was that it was really cold in the place but other than that I’ll still come back for sure! The hot chocolate was so nice too and well presented. A lot of pride and effort goes into making the desserts for the customers. It’s not rushed. You get your moneys worth for sure! Thanks guys!!! See you again!

I turned up as a walk in and was immediately seated. Theresa was the waitress and was the only reason I gave 5* for service. I felt like the food was overpriced for what it was. £8.75 for 3 small pieces of belly pork, which was not worth it, as it was flavourless. There was zero atmosphere in the restaurant, which was a shame and it was often difficult to try and get the attention of a member of staff as there were very few that seemed to be working. Overall, I'd personally not recommend this pub, although it is part of Greene King, it doesn't serve their menu, and I think I'd have preferred a restaurant that did in this case!

Went to the Hunters Moon Hungry Horse the other night with some friends. (I used to go there back in the day when it was banging)… Went to get some drinks and was served by the awesome Jackie. She was humorous and very helpful. The food was good especially the Ginger Beer and the award-winning Steak and Ale Pie, mmm… My desert order was wrong but it was quickly rectified (excellent customer service). We took part in the Pub Quiz and had a whale of a time and were ultimately placed second. Big shout-out to the server lady in the red/burgundy shirt… I should have asked for her name, sorry about that. It was a great night, better than I expected. I’ll be back…
