I am giving 1 star purely because of the customer service I received from 1 particular worker when I came a couple of weeks ago. Upon arrival we enquired about a certain dish on the menu. While asking him a question, the way he looked at me was as if it trouble him and he was offended by us enquiring about their menu. After finishing our meal I asked him to pack the Turkish bread as we couldn't finish it, and again his facial expression said that he was offended and angry for asking him. The other staff are lovely and It's a shame that his 1 worker is jeopardizing the business due to his poor customer service skills. He really needs to be trained on basic etiquettes especially when he's working in a customer facing role. I have come to lokma many times but do not intend to give them my hard earned money anymore.

Good taste and service. I wanted chicken Shawarma but it wasn't available though it was just 8pm. Rest was great.

I didn't enjoy it a few years ago but thought I'd try again - same experience: the meat feels uncooked and somewhat cold - stomach felt uneasy while eating and afterwards.

Really nice food. Love the mix kebab at £15 and you can choose any 3 meats. Always give extras. Polite staff. Would recommend.

Reviews looked good so visited this restaurant but unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience. The interior is incredibly cold & drafty, the decor is majority exposed brickwork & is really shabby, around the wall where we were sat in the corner there was bulges of expanding foam sticking out, above us the ceiling had big gaps in the corners which resulted in unpleasant cold air being blown onto your head and neck, the seats were super uncomfortable & the seating around the edge against the wall is hard wood benches with a sort of cloth draped over it, again very hard and uncomfortable to sit on. Food is reasonably priced, we had a family platter for 4 which was generous in size, the food overall lacked flavour and seasoning, most of the food was dry & all our kofte kebabs were slices into really thin pieces so went cold straightaway, the rice served with the platter was plain white boiled rice with some ghee, as far as I’m aware this isn’t an authentic representation of the cuisine this restaurant states it serves. We were all disappointed with the food & comfort of the establishment as a whole, even as more customers walked in they expressed how cold they were especially with their young children, sadly we won’t be back. Only positive is the service was quick and attentive, food came out very fast even though it was freshly cooked as it’s an open kitchen, the guys were friendly.

Customer service is good compared to many other places in the same street. Food is typical, and there is no unique taste. It's a typical flavour, or lack of some flavour. Portion is not good for the price we have paid as there are many other places good do far batter deal for a good portion. The design of the store is very cosy and welcoming. Menu, is straight forward. Need improvement in the receipies.

Food is very good. Prices are also better than other similar places. And food is very same. Staff is very friendly and one of the reasons I like eating here. Very helpful and very accommodating especially if u come as a group.

A great place to get some Turkish food. The kebabs were grilled perfectly and were very tasty. This place has great value for money and friendly staff.

Small establishment with just a few tables. But in no way does that compromise the service and quality of food. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal here and it was all very good value for money. Staff were friendly the food tasted great! Highly recommend this place!

Family n kids , ordered 4 shawarma wraps that were cold / uncooked and over powered with meat. Chips refried and not fresh. Very very disappointed. Won’t be visiting again.

We come here more and more regularly now. Plenty of parking in the area and ideally located. Quickly becoming our favourite restaurant/takeaway.

Visited here with a friend for a quick bite to eat as neither of us had anything better to do at lunch time on a Sunday. The humous and bread was nice and fresh. I had lamb kebabs on a bed of rice. The kebabs were made freshly on hot coals and tasted lovely. The service was very fast and friendly. The decor is sort of industrial and cosy. Would recommend.

Came here by chance passing through Evington road. I love Turkish food so gave it a try. All I can say is that it was spot on. The owner is very friendly and asks how is the food and if you want anything else. It’s a bit rough and ready this place but the food makes up for that. Would go anytime again.

Tasty food but, very disappointed with portion size! Ordered a family mix and a mixed kebab for takeaway/collection, which was supposed to serve 4-5 and 1-2 respectively. There was not enough food...they came in the same size container. The cold mezes were in tiny pots, nowhere enough for 5 people to eat. Should’ve been more food in the family mix, it was more for like 3 people. Was embarrassing as we had this for our guests and everyone was just taking small amounts. What a shame as food was tasty, but we still hungry!

Got a takeaway and, frankly it was really late. When I called however they took responsibility and explained. When the food arrived they were again sincere about the delay.

I've now been here 3 times with the family and we have experienced very good food and service. We have the Lamb shish kebab meal(£8.50). It is marinated lamb cubes grilled in turkish style and served with boiled rice, bread, salad and a choice of mezze. The mezze made of yogurt and garlic is absolutely lovely.

One of the best service. We stayed to chat after we had our lunch which ws freshly cooked and served, and we wr offered tea as a gift. It ws lovely. We had a child with us and she ws given a lolipop.. tht ws such a sweet thing to do. Food is amazing. Place is beautifully dcorated bt small, so try to book bfore u go to make sure u get a table. Do visit them u wont b deceived! Looking forward to take my sister who is a tourist here. Im sure she will love it!

Went for lunch with a few friends. We bought some wraps, rice and fries. The grilled wraps were delicious. Thick and full of meat. The steak chips were average, maybe overcooked or even doubled fried. The rice was lovely and fluffy. I think the people cooking the food are not Turkish but asian/indian for sure. Anyway a good experience. Oh yes good humous and sauces - very tasty.

Recently received a leaflet for a new Turkish restaurant and I'm so glad I did. Although delivery is slightly long the food was worth it.
