I've been a couple of times now, both times the food has been amazing and so has the service. Everything cooked perfectly. They are clear it's a fusion, and the food is a perfect blend of Asian and Turkish food.

First time trying this place and ate in. 10/10 for service - thank you to the lovely Navjot. She was so friendly and helpful. Food was AMAZING - so saucy and so delicous. Not your standard turkish flavours. Definately had the underlying turkish flavours but with a really different saucy twist. Chefs were lovely too. Really recommend this place especially for us Asians who love saucy food.

I’m a regular customer at this store, however this has put me off from ordering again completely. The chicken was raw & undercooked, also heavily red on almost every piece. I called the restaurant on the day of the order and he was apologetic and claimed its a one off, so I thought i’d give them another chance and order again, in which the person over the phone was unhappy I had my order refunded due to raw/undercooked chicken as it effects his business??? And refused to take my new order unless I pay cash or directly at the store. I don’t usually leave bad reviews and I never take advantage of small business to refund for no reason. I have attached the pictures I took of the food I was delivered in which I refunded. Lost a regular customer, will not order again.

I had their mixed grill, tasted amazing! It’s a fusion between Turkish cuts of meat and tenderness with Asian influenced spices…honestly the best of both worlds! Cant recommend it enough. The hummus with the fresh bread was delightful too!!

Awful AWFUL food. If you fail on the simplest thing like garlic bread... Donner did not taste like meat. Wrap was cold and tasted of a mix of spices and nothing else, all tasted of same spice. All of it not edible.

I have my favourite Turkish restaurants and didn't think Lokanta would be up there in my top five. What makes it unique is the fusion of Turkish cuisine with Asian spices. I ordered their lahmacun, hot mezz, medium platter, spicy chips and diet Pepsi. My favourite was the medium platter as it was the right amount of spice for my kids and had a good range of wings, ribs, chops, donner, chicken and lamb cubes and rice. The staff asked me about the level of spice before they started cooking. I left pleasantly surprised and my family said they would like to visit again.

If could give it a zero I would, they claim to be Lokanta Turkish Fusion but seem to be more of a con-fusion. Terrible hygiene, far from being a Turkish cuisine. Save your time and money don’t bother going.

Ali and Salim are amazing. Their customer service is grand very very friendly very helpful too. They go the extra mile. One of the few restaurants where nowadays customer service is A*. Measly pieces of meat of so called lamb with hardly any doner meat. Fusion, yeah right! Taste was just about ok. This place is run by Asians who haven't got much knowledge of turkish food so I recommend they stick to making curries. And the price of £24 for the small platter was definitely not worth it. Wont be going there again. Disappointing!!!!

Ordered a small platter received a single platter which was £14.95 tiniest 2 chicken cubes even 2 more tiniest lamb cubes very small wings which they could added few more to compensate for tiny wings and lamb and chicken I told the staff about the wrong order which they gave me donner complementary for misunderstanding my order taste was bang on but the size of meat was tiny also wanted chips instead of rice but he misunderstood my for £15 I was hungry when entered the restaurant and more hungry when I left but food was very tasty need to go to another restaurant to fill my self up 😂😂😂

This is not a Turkish restaurant. This is another Bangali restaurant, with Bangladeshi spices, they try to cook Turkish foods. Awful taste. Very disappointed.

If i could give 0 stars I would. I ordered a simple hummus and salad wrap.. what turned up was less salad and more soup in a soggy wrap.. The sea of hummus was mixed in with a river of sauce, it was disgusting and poor quality

Order the platter for a little bit of everything, juicy lamb chops and ribs, tender chunks of lamb and chicken shish plus adana bread coated with tasty flavours make for a delicious feast! Plus the staff are friendly and attentive! Excellent!

Honestly suprised by how good the food is at Lokanta, The Lamb chops and Rice are 10/10. Portions were hug aswell, went twice in one week. Very good service from the staff

I spent the evening there with family and friends to celebrate my sisters and daughters birthdays and it was a very enjoyable experience. To help organise the event I had an extremely helpful events planner who was attentive and informative. She had no issues answering my many questions to ensure the evening went well for my party. The venue was clean and was decorated well. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and myself and the guest were able to relax. The food was tasty and presented well and the cocktails were very nice, especially the alcohol free ones made for my young daughter which made her day. Big thankful to the staff there for accommodating our party.

Very polite staff members. The Salmon and Rice which I ordered was very tasty with nice onion seasoning and effort gone into making. Complimentary salad and bread. The taste was also good and a bit different from normal Turkish Restaurant.

Where should I start…I was invited by a friend and as soon as I got into the restaurant I didn’t expect much. We were served the bread and some salad let me tell you their bread starter is hands down the best Turkish bread I have ever had we ended up keep asking for more while waiting for our food. We ordered the meat platter and every thing was delicious. The food felt home cooked and the chef was so friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back there and take my friends and family. So if you are looking for a scrumptious Turkish food that keeps you wanting more just go to this restaurant.

This is not an authentic Turkish restaurant but a mixture of Bangladeshi cooked, owned and managed 'Turkish' food with a dose of Turkish touch. So you get lot's of spices in your food, far more than real Turkish restaurants. Surprised hardly anyone had mentioned this. For a Turkish meal, you go to authentic Turkish restaurant, not to a mixture of Asian/Turkish. In fact it shouldn't be called 'Turkish' at all. When you want to have a Curry meal, do you go to a place where the food is made and served by Arabs!

We went there yesterday after seeing such a high rating on google. Turns out this was a disaster. This restaurant is not authentic turkish. It is run by two bangladeshi brothers Ali and Salim who claim they have worked previously in Turkish joints and know Turkish food better than Turks. Coming to food, we ordered lamb adana and chicken shish wrap. Ali claimed that they hv infused fusion in turkish food which he thought was bland. Salient features of the disastrous experience include: - They made the traditional chilli sauce taste rather wierd by adding some asian spices. I am asian myself - and it tastes very achari (pickly) - as such it was a complete shambles. - They put spice on the bread (chilli flakes) and fried it on the grill. Instead of getting crispier it became soggier… this was awful. - Final nail on the coffin was that the chef (Salim) tossed the red cabbage with garlic and chilli, trying to make a turkish infused coleslaw (my best guess) which was put in our wrap, making the overall taste atrocious. And to top it off paying 8 quid per wrap, was an absolute rip-off. Your corner chicken shop can do better wraps for a fiver!!! Avoid this at all costs!!!

It's been a couple of months since we ordered a takeaway from Lokanta. We picked up our food. We got lamb chops with chips and meat Donner with rice. We got the usual bread, chilli sauces, salad and houmus. The generous person sizes ensured three of us ate and there was still left overs. Damn we missed the food. We've recommended the restaurant to do many people who love Turkish food, and all of them return over and over again. Our family from out of London love the food, and rate it better than all the previous Turkish restaurants they've eaten in.

The food...... Every single dish (all 12 of them, and the surprise one as it was a special occasion) was just phenomenal. Each plate was presented with class and quality and tasted amazing.

This is a hidden gem in Ilford. My family's favourite Turkish restaurant. This newly opened restaurant is surviving on returning regular customers. In addition to Just Eat they also do free delivery and offer discount for collection. Recently took my sister and her husband to eat at Lokanta. My brother in law said Wazir is rubbish compared to Lokanta. The food here is prepared fresh after ordering, so expect to wait if eating in. Choose how well you want you meat cooked. The free bread and salad is fantastic. If you want the full flavours of the meal, eat in.

Arrived late near closing time. The staff made us feel extra welcome and served our meal with a smile. The food was 1st class, cooked fresh and tender. Not the best decor but the food had substance. I would prefer good food over plush surroundings. Its a new establishment in greenlane and once the word gets out may change. Get there while you can! Will definitely make this a regular
