New place opened in July 2023. Brilliant chicken with chilli sauce from the old school east London fried chicken shops.

Amazing food. Second branch but just as good as the original. It’s so good they had to do it twice! Chilli sauce is fab and the naga doner and wings are sensational! Come and try this local establishment. Won’t disappoint.

Ordered a bucket biriyani at Diwali 2024 ,Seems the quantity is very low and it is covered half portion in the bucket. Was completely disappointed for spending 30 £ . Food taste is average ( it might due to huge order during Diwali ). Only the delivery service was good & asked to visit Ilford station to collect. They better change Small size of the bucket.

I was looking for drinks at Seven Kings where there were so many bubble tea shops. Ended up at Capos because of the Cherry Bakewell milkshake. It was not a bad milkshake but couldn't quite taste the almond or cherry. Visually it lacked a cherry to garnish, however it was nice as you could taste that it was a whole cherry Bakewell tart blended with vanilla ice cream. Anyway, the staff could have been more informative when I asked what was in the milkshakes instead of me suggesting what was in it like ice cream or milk because I don't exactly work there!!

This was a return visit after several years. So the mere fact it is still operating means it must be doing something the locals like. This is a good standard local restaurant. The decor is simple clean and cosy. Food is honest and tasty, a mix of Mediterranean inspired dishes thrown around Turkish favourites. A big bowl of bread was provided at the start which is always a good sign. I started with the falafel, which was excellent. Good crisp outer shell and a light fluffy and moist centre, which is rare. Tried the moussaka for main, which was tasty and good portion size. It would have been great if there had been more of those flavourful potatoes, that absorb the flavours of everything, from being at the base of Moussaka. Ended the meal with the baklava , which was crisp and not overly sweet, which I enjoyed. The service was genuinely friendly, attentive and professional, something you don't always find in this day and age. Prices are also very fair, both on food and drinks which in Wanstead is often not the case these days. They operate a set menu 2 and 3 course menu on the week days , which I have to come back and try out . Hopefully sooner than the last visit.
