Hosted my birthday party here and it was a fantastic experience - the organisation was smooth, drinks delicious and the bar staff delivered excellent service. Will not hesitate to book again!

I hosted a birthday party at Lockes and the whole experience was fantastic. Very easy to deal with in preparation, great set up on the night and friendly and helpful staff - thank you all!

Amazing place. Aperol is great, better than most Italian we’ve tried. Louise cheese pizza was great. Thomas looked after us and we cannot recommend this place enough.

Claudio, has been so attentive, personable and patient with all our request and requirements!!! I am no easy customer and he wasn't bothered be me!!!! Thank you, thank you for being so hospitalable!! You made my last day in London amazing!!!! In addition, the food and drink deals are great!!!

Stopped on a whim as I had some time to kill. The staff were very kind, the seating outside was in a nice suntrap, it was a lovely spot to sit with a few glasses of wine and my book. Surprisingly chilled atmosphere given the central London location, I'd pop by again if in the area.

I had the best time. Thank you so much to the manager Marco for hosting me last minute for my birthday/leaving party. My friends enjoyed it all the waiters were grand.

Stopped by to kill some time whilst waiting for friends. Super friendly service and lovely 2-4-1 spritz cocktails. Lovely outside sunny spot away from the main crowds of Covent Garden.

Without a doubt the best cocktails in London we have ever experienced. The team from B@1 have taken their proven skills in quality cocktail making to Lockes and it does not disappoint. The quality of the ingredients make the difference, but the blend of what they offer is pretty special too. The Palomita is the best cocktail I have ever had! Great value too.

Booked the downstairs bar for my 30th birthday and it was incredible. The venue, the bartenders, the drinks, the pizzas were all 10/10 and everyone kept telling me it was a great party. I 100% recommend and they were so brilliant at helping with the setup and order of the night I wanted!

Dined here for lunch today and it was lovely. The pizza was delicious, drinks were great and friendly welcoming staff. Also very well priced and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend.

I hired the downstairs room for my wife's surprise birthday party. Fantastic staff. Great food. Very good value for money. Top location. Good music. Well presented, modern room with an appropriate level of sitting. My wife said it was the best birthday party she has ever had.

Thomas gave great service, was entertaining, and great to talk to! The cucumber salad is amazing!!

We had a great time in here for our post Pride Parade celebration. There were around 65 of us. Will the manager was fantastic and made us all feel really welcome and well looked after. His communication with me as the event manager was excellent. The pizzas were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed all the food. It's in a great location with big outdoors area (though the smell was pretty gross at times but it's not their fault it's the stinky sewers and it didn't stop us sitting out there). Loads of seating, great cocktail list. An all round excellent experience. Thanks. Hope to see you next year.

Great place in cute area! Drinks more on expensive side. Also nice for work related events as you can rent parts of the bar.

Nice environment (a bit too on the loud side for me, but I know I am probably a grumpy outlier) with very nice, quick and kind service, rather good food (see picture!). For some reason they could not provide hot water/infusions of any sort, which was a bit odd, but otherwise they seem well supplied and you will hardly want for more, unless you look for some more esoteric labels.

Amazing spritz happy hour , Luca is incredible , service and drinks on point. 10/10 would recommend, pizza is divine!

I held my sisters hen party here and Steve, right from the first point of contact, was nothing but accommodating. He made us feel so comfortable personalizing the bar and couldn’t do enough for us. He was super attentive and friendly and was very understanding of us girls being quite loud! Thank you Lockes for making our Hen do so brilliant and memorable. We will definitely return and would recommend this place for any occasion ☺️

Booked some window seats for group drinks and the experience was great. The pre- and post-event communication was prompt, the staff very attentive and friendly. The location is central and easy to get to for everyone. Lovely drinks as well, would come back!

Really nice little place, great for drinks and chilling. They open up the front when it's good weather so it's got a breeze.

I discovered Lockes after getting caught up in a downpour and taking cover in their front door area. Was planning on going for a drink anyway and when Steve invited us in my girlfriend and I thought why not. And glad we did! What a cracking bar Steve and Marco have! Steve offered proper old school, quality customer service and made us feel very welcome and almost like we were regulars even though it was the first time we'd been. Had a couple of the spritz specials and decided to stay for another and have a pizza too. The pizza was absolutely superb. Everything was priced fairly and given the proximity to Covent Garden I think it was all really good value. Overall, I think the other reviews have got this one right. It's just a really good bar, with great attentive staff and I will absolutely be back again! Cheers Steve! Great to meet you and we'll see you again!

The staff at Lockes was absolutely fantastic, really friendly, approachable and accommodating. From the first moment I approached them with my query (surprise birthday party lunch celebration with ~15 guests), Steve and Marco got in touch and helped me every step of the way. On the day of the celebration the staff was amazing, they even made an extra pizza free of charge for one of the guests just because they liked a different flavour! Absolutely five stars, you cannot go wrong with Lockes, would definitely recommend!

I booked Lockes for my 30th and it was the perfect location, we had around 40 people and the bar all Saturday evening. The service was wonderful, food was particularly good and great drinks!

We come for a 60th birthday party for my best friend and had the best night with great service from the manager Will and the bartender Mattia. We also had 3 pizza which were incredible and will most definitely be coming back!

The gentleman serving us was really attentive and created a surprise cocktail when I requested. The place has gorgeous outside seating and a great selections of drinks. Highly recommend :)

Have been here a few times already, but booked for a table of 10 for my birthday a few weeks ago and I’m so glad this was the bar I picked. Was looking for a bar that wasn’t rowdy and dancey, and Lockes was perfect, it has a chilled atmosphere, so you can sit and chat with people at a comfortable volume. I had requested that we had one big table instead of being split into two (as I often find smaller London bars are too narrow to accommodate big groups) and they were able to provide. They offered table service all night, and the cocktail menu is quite long and varied - they have all the classics as well as unique ones.

Amazing cocktail bar with a very interesting cocktail menu, strongly recommend the palomita - Marco is also 10/10 very attractive ask for his number to have a great night ;)

I celebrated my birthday on a Friday evening. Everything about Lockes was amazing! The pizzas were delicious (Diavola, Burrata, and Cotto and Funghi). The drinks and cocktails were really tasty and reasonably priced! It was quite busy when we got there but we were sat downstairs and the atmosphere was great with really good music! The best part of the night were the staff. Special shoutout to Laura, Will and Thomas for being amazing and super kind to me the entire night! Everyone went out of their way to ensure everything was flowing smoothly. -Chathuni

I can’t recommend this place enough. Delicious food and cocktails and 5 star service from the excellent and friendly staff. I had my birthday here recently with around 60 people. We were all treated like celebrities!! Thank you to everyone for making it such a special occasion.

We booked part of the bar for our birthday party- it was great. The booking was easy and communication was great. We ordered pizzas prior and we were able to arrange a time for them to come out- all arranged before so no stress on the night. The staff were friendly and attentive. The pizzas were tasty and the cocktails were great. There was a good buzz in the atmosphere and several parties were celebrating! All of my friends enjoyed it- I would recommend this place for an event!

I celebrated my big birthday with family and friends. We had a fantastic welcome from Will and the team. We were given an area for ourselves where we were able to mingle and had great drinks and pizzas. I definitely recommend Lockes. Great location in Covent Garden.

Hosted our work social here as leaving drinks for 2 staff. Had exclusive hie of the downstairs cocktail bar for 60 people. Staff were great and so was the venue and food!

We celebrated my partner's 30th birthday over the weekend and I couldn't give any higher praise to Lockes. I've never booked an event like this so was slightly nervous but Marco was fantastic and communicated everything perfectly via email and gave me an excellent overview of the space when I visited. On the night itself our bartender, Visnu, was outstanding. His attention to detail, professionalism, friendliness, drinks recommendations and mixing were 10/10. I also spoke to Will on the door and to close up the event and he was equally as fantastic. We booked the Firenze party package and the amount of drinks and food was perfect for our party size (around 30) but would easily have stretched to a few others. The food was all delicious and the alcohol provided was of a great standard. Every single person complemented me on the venue and my partner in particular loved every minute. Thank you so much the the entire team, you really helped make the big day memorable and you'll be recommended to all our friends and family.

Amazing place to celebrate my 23rd birthday with friends. Marco did a fantastic job with arranging the event, was always incredibly quick to respond and catered perfectly to my specific needs. Will managed everything seamlessly on the day, and was a great guy to talk to (as well as being super efficient). At the bar, Thomas and Laura were lovely, making a wide range of cocktails for everyone, and even gave me a masterclass behind the bar! Music was also great. Thanks to the brilliant team at Lockes, everyone really enjoyed the experience, and I can't recommend them more highly :)

We had a great night at Lockes Covent Garden! Before the night, Marco made the whole planning and organisation very smooth. On the night, Anton was great in arranging the food and drinks options from the start. The waitress at our bar was fantastic and super efficient. I would really recommend Lockes for a private party. Everyone had a great time.

Service charge for simply being handed a drink is crazy, on top of already crazy prices. Much better places available in the area so avoid.

We came to Lockes to celebrate our company's anniversary, the venue was lovely, the customer service was excellent and the food was good. The team was very accommodating to our various dietary requirements and adhoc requests. Everyone had a great time!

This is quite an original bar with pizzas being serves with drinks. A nice concept and great atmosphere with good music. Can be a little busy with the after office crowd, but still busy on weekends too, so worth going to. A little pricey.
