We decided to pop in, glad we did, lovely lady served us, freshly made breakfast, really thick bacon, mushrooms fried, not boiled, I hate boiled mushrooms, tin tomatoes, beans, black pudding and a hash brown. Loads of toast. The only thing which could have been better is the coffee, it was really weak, tasted like instant, even though they had a noisy coffee machine. Everything else was lovely.

We go here loads for the last couple of years. Bacon is crispy. Mushrooms are really good. Great value and lovely people who run it too and they can make a decent brew.

We regularly come to this lovely cafe and the staff are so warm and welcoming and the food is always cooked to perfection and their lattes are to die for I think that this cafe serves the best breakfast in Bolton! The prices are very reasonable and fantastic value for money 😊

Have only called for breakfast once, if you are travelling through the town of Horwich, it beats going to a service station. The breakfast was good and plenty of it. But living within a hundre yards ,If I go out for breakfast I like to go for more pleasant surroundings. My wife call on a regular basis For a barm, she goes for sausage and egg, I go for bacon and egg. Never had a complaint. The staff are always pleasant.

Met my wife in town on Sunday and needed lunch. Didn’t want a pie or pasty so I suggested here. They’re always friendly and the food is good. It makes good sense and we both enjoyed it.

Our experience was very disappointing as far as the accommodation. Our room was dark old fashion drab and very stuffy. The lighting was terrible considering its wedding destination it was very difficult to do my hair in the bedroom. Our room was not serviced and when we complained we were told we should have asked. The rooms are over priced. They need to add some elevators to these buildings too many stairs and cobbles for older people. The wedding venue was lovely but I think that was all down to my niece. Other members of our party all complained about the rooms from lumpy beds to dirty bed linen and shower that fell apart. This place is obviously a popular choice for wedding so I guess the owner don’t care about the rooms. Breakfast on the first wasn’t great but the buffet the next day was decent. The night of the wedding we were disturbed by noisy people still partying until 4:00 am in the courtyard.
