What a treat! Everything was absolutely delicious and interesting. James did a fabulous job as our waiter. We especially appreciated the attention to dietary restrictions (vegetarian & lactose intolerant). They took very good care of that. The room is gorgeous and the tea delicious. Definitely a memorable afternoon. The piano music was the cherry on top!

I recently had the Festive Afternoon Tea at the Corinthia London's Crystal Moon Lounge and it was undoubtedly the best afternoon tea I have ever had. It consisted of three courses: sandwiches, scones and cakes / pastries. The sandwiches were not only tasty but consisted of different flavours which contrasted well. The festive jam which accompanied the scones was delicious. However, the real highlight was the cakes. It is difficult for me to choose a favourite, but I particularly enjoyed the Mont Blanc Choux and Plum & Amaretto Tartlet. The Crystal Moon Lounge itself is stunning and was the perfect environment to relax and enjoy the tea in comfort. It was also beautifully decorated for the festive season. However, the absolute highlight for me was the excellent service provided by the staff. Not only were they professional and welcoming, but they struck the perfect balance between being attentive and allowing me to enjoy the tea at my own pace. My server did an excellent job of explaining the courses and also responding to any queries or requests. Afternoon tea is one of my favourite treats and I will definitely be returning to the Corinthia London in future to enjoy the non-Festive Afternoon Tea.

Our experience was amazing at Corinthia.I loved the hot chocolate service as they give you the marshmallows and whipped cream so you can eat and drink however you like.Thw finger sandwiches were sumptous and the music was charming.The staff were excellent.

This is an expensive experience to experience! They had a wide range of pastry and tea, and for the premium, i barely saw anyone really eating - i mean how much sugar can one take. But its still a place for conversations and gatherings. Staff were excellent.

The tea and the food was lovely but the service was a big let down. It felt very rushed and the server brought one course after another even when we hadnt even finished the first course. Our slot was 1 to 3pm but by 2:50pm they already started setting up the table for the next guests and one even dropped a plate. It was disruptive and unenjoyable and not worth it for the hefty service charge. Not recommended at all.

Unfortunately the recent afternoon tea experience wasn't as great as before: — The venue was cold (we had to ask for blankets) — The festive menu had less items on the day than what was advertised on the website (considering the price, it didn't feel a good value for money at all) — The staff (Bella) confused the order and wasn't as swift (considering there were not that many customers) — Tea got cold very quick and took ages to replenish — Sandwiches weren't anything special and most were sadly dry + Caviar with blinis were amazing + Scones were really good + Champagne (LP) was delicious + Interior looked great with modern Christmas decorations

The best afternoon tea, we’ve had in London. I don’t normally leave reviews but felt our experience deserved a 5* review The sandwiches and cakes were fresh and delicious, plenty of tea choices with an offer to replenish sandwiches. what stood out the most for us was the service, a big thank you to Dominic and Rose who made my mums birthday celebrations even more special, they went out of there way to ensure everything was perfect We would highly recommend and will certainly be returning

I usually do not have a habit of writing negative reviews as I know that staff often have to manage situations that they are being put in by management. Our experience on a Saturday at this prestigious place was disappointing. To start with, we felt we were treated like a number throughout. The waitress rushed through her standard / scripted introduction way too fast to understand what was happening. It did not feel she took much effort in making us welcome and was more interested in getting the show on the road asap. We were told to quickly finish the sandwiches as they had to bring the scones, we were rushed to finish the scones to bring other deserts, constantly being made to feal we were being processed where the whole purpose is to enjoy everything together in peace and to relax. The waitress was also very keen to constantly push the hotel's agenda of making us have champagne as if she was paid on commission. The pressure to have champagne was unpleasant, and felt intimidating at some point. When I had a simple request to start my £85 experience with a simple coffee, that request was totally ignored.. In the end we did not have enough time to finish our tea / experience and therefore had to ask staff if we could finish the tea in another area of the hotel. There was not enough time to finish all the items, so 7 items were packed in two boxes. However, the way it was packed, meant that by the time we arrived home, all the items were squashed and crumbled. It had been packed without much common sense of packing, as one of the two smaller packages were placed in a half standing position hence all beautiful , nice looking cakes were smashed into one piece. The five tiny sandwiches were ok, but I would not combine bread and cucumber. The scones with jam were very tasty. The piano started playing approximately an hour into our visit. The venue itself was beautiful. The hotel says on its website that its afternoon tea is "A slowly unfolding pleasure that must never be hurried. A delightful reminder that time is a luxury to be savoured". However, as explained enough, we never felt this during our experience. Having to pay £100+ ( without champagne) for the above experience was definitely not value for money and the hotel should seriously think about either reducing the price or giving people much more time to enjoy this experience as there is currently too much of a focus on milking this to the max at the expense of the customer. P.S We had dinner later that evening at The Northall (the same hotel) and it was an amazing experience.

I chose to go on an afternoon tea for my birthday and I'm very happy we chose Corinthia. Our experience was great and the location was beautiful. Plentiful tea options and the sandwiches were delicious. I still think about the scones they were warm and soft, so good! I didn't really care for the desserts but I'm not heavy on sweets. Absolutely recommend for your London afternoon tea experience.

Over the years my family have stayed, lunched, dined or had afternoon tea in most of the premiere restaurants in London, and I think yesterdays afternoon tea at the Crystal Moon Lounge was among the best, if not the best we’ve ever had outside The Ritz. The lounge itself is splendid, with the amazing centrepiece signature crystal chandelier over the centre of the lounge, and the lovely floral arrangements making this an ideal place for couples, families and business treats. The staff were impeccable throughout in their service and conviviality, and the whole tea was scrumptious. The baccarat crystal champagne glasses even seemed to make the champagne taste better…. 🍾 We could not eat all the food, the service was so generous, with more than enough of the excellent sandwiches and cakes for four people, let alone the three of us. We even received beautiful “ goodie bags” so we could share the remaining cakes with others.

Absolutely excellent afternoon tea, one of the best in London! Super delicious sandwiches (and you can get a refill :p)…and so are the scones (and the jams and clotted cream). The sweets are beautiful and not very sweet (healthy!). Inesa is very nice and caring too! She offered to remake my tea when I mentioned to her that I prefer it stronger. Nice environment with live piano performance, the Crystal Moon Lounge is having a special offer in August. Definitely go for it if you you’re also an Afternoon Tea lover!

I went for afternoon tea on Thursday and it was wonderful . I expected nothing else . The staff were very giving of their time and nothing was to much . We received the gift of service from Marco and a lovely young lady who had just returned from holiday but shamefully I cannot recall their name . The teas were lovely . The discount in August was unexpected. I did knock one star of due to shrinkflation of the scones which are lovely. they are the reason I visit . If I was to offer some reflections it would be these. I have had afternoon tea many times at the crystal moon but I feel some of the crispness and feness has been lost. I used to love smelling the loose teas before I tasted them . There is great architecture in the space like the mirrored wall ,your beautiful sanderlia and the shape of the room .all has got lost with the big table of flowers at the centre of the room and the many low chairs . Saying this I don't want to take away that the crystal moon lounge is still my favourite place to come for afternoon tea in London. And I highly recommend it. Selina

There is a woman serving us who is very rude and treats us with racism. She does not represent this place because I visit this place every year, but this year I was very shocked by his service and I will not visit it again.

Beautiful place. Service and food ok. Afternoon tea has stages as shown in the photos below: bread with spreads/jellies, “loaf bread with filling” and sweets with “refills”. Our table was located in a corridor where hotel guests were constantly passing through and this ruined the experience. About the cost: it costs more than a thousand reais for two people in Nov/2023.

In celebration of our anniversary, we opted for high tea at this location . It was a posh, elegant, and well-executed experience. The tea was delightful, and the sweet food was slightly better than the savory: but both were very good. Overall, we recommend this for a high-level high tea experience.

Birthday treat for my friend and I . This did not disappoint we were treated like VIP’s by Anna and Alessandro. Champagne cocktails , nibbles followed by the most exquisite afternoon tea, followed by more champagne, all under the most beautiful baccarat crystal dome. Tour of the spa by the lovely , professional Glenn . All in all a perfect day.

Terrible afternoon tea. Very slow service so that they can take your food time. Cold tea. We asked for deserts first but they said first we have to serve scones by the time we finish they got all cold and soggy. Terrible pastries and sandwiches. The only hope of this place is that chandelier and that nice pianist at least enjoyed some good music. But they really want people to eat and drink that Chandelier thats it!!!

Perfect for a celebratory Afternoon Tea; elegant, attentive yet unobtrusive service and faultless food. Our server Rosa was the epitome of thoughtful, warm and genuine hospitality, talking us through each of the dishes and the whole staff were so observant and smart. We liked the way that the Afternoon Tea was served in courses (rather than all in one go as is sometimes the case in other establishments). The sandwiches were perfectly fresh, plentiful and delicious - I particularly loved the beautifully rich egg mayonnaise. My companion who is Vegan enjoyed what I think is possibly the best Vegan Afternoon Tea we've ever had - each sandwich, cake and treat was of the highest standard and so imaginative and not lacking at all for the absence of dairy etc...and not an "artificial meat" in sight. The cakes and treats were themed around flowers and each one was a work of art. We took those that we couldn't eat home - extending the pleasure of the visit. The pianist came over and spoke with each table, taking requests and was so charming. The atmosphere is just so calm and relaxing and sophisticated.

Absolutely stunning! Timeless decor with the enchanting crystal moon floral centrepiece. The chef is a genius offering tempting creations that astound the eye and tease the taste buds all beautifully delivered on an ornate “silver tea trolley “ - more like a carriage! Attentive but subtle service all kept under the watchful eye of head waiter Marco. If that’s not enough, sit back and be delighted by intricate piano tinkling. Totally sensational!!

I couldnt be any happier with the experience we had at Corinthia. I had the idea of celebrating my sister's birthday with an afternoon tea, but given her celiac and vegan dietary needs, finding a suitable venue seemed nearly impossible—until we discovered Corinthia. To my surprise and delight, they offered a combined gluten-free and vegan menu, a rarity in the world of afternoon teas. This inclusion really meant a lot to us, as it made the experience inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. The gluten-free and vegan menu was very similar to the traditional one. Additionally, the gesture of presenting my sister with a small vegan and gluten-free cake for her birthday was very touching. Thank you. The food itself was phenomenal. The sandwiches were so good that we refilled three times, the tea selection was superb, and the pastries were very good (specially the lemon biscuit). However, the scones stole the show—they were absolutely divine paired with the jam. It was a surprise to learn that the tea, sandwiches, and scones were all refillable, and I would also like to add that the staff happily packed the leftovers for us to enjoy later. I really thank the impeccable service provided by Ana and Inesa. Their attentiveness and warm hospitality improved the experience tremendously. Moreover, we never felt rushed during our three-hour stay. The ambiance of Corinthia was equally impressive. It was an elegant decoration, with subtle touches of uniqueness. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the main lamp featuring all white lightbulbs except one red, and the uniform cutlery sets with a single point of distinction. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend the Corinthia afternoon tea experience, especially to those with dietary restrictions or anyone seeking an elegant or romantic plan. From accommodating special dietary needs to impeccable service and delightful cuisine, Corinthia exceeded all expectations.

This was an opportunity for an afternoon tea; I will say it was like no other. Excellent service, but $200+ for two people without a champagne add-on was shocking!! The $41 and up pricing seems slightly misleading when there aren’t $41 per person options. This is a one-and-done. We would have enjoyed more than $125 in total, as that’s what the tea felt like. If you’re ok with the money they do a good job overall.

While spending time in London we wanted to take the kids to an amazing afternoon tea. This tea was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. Anna was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make our time there special. My son says that afternoon tea was one of his top highlights from our trip. The ambience was stunning with beautiful fresh flowers everywhere. The sandwiches, scones and pastries were all so tasty! The tea menu was extensive which I really appreciated.

Top place for quality tea time. Definitely one of the finer places in London to enjoy Afternoon Tea. Service is excellent as well. If you want to treat yourself, this is it. Tea selection is really good without there being too many options and the staff are very accommodating. Scones are soft and fresh, perfect portions. Recommended!

Was a special birthday treat and the afternoon tea experience was brilliant. A great setting with a great selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. We were full to the brim and that’s forgetting to mention the Tea! All sorts of flavours. Great attentive staff who looked after us for the afternoon. We will be back missing it already.

Stunning hotel wasted by awful staff. We went for tea at £90 per person and it was the worst experience from any of the top London hotels that we've dined at. This review will mean nothing to them because they are beyond criticism in their eyes but we will never go there again. The food was inedible. Staff were non existent. Seating was awful.

Have been here twice before, so knew what to expect. The venue is spectacular, with a great atmosphere. We were served our sandwiches, and offered one more, we asked for two! From memory, I’m sure previously you did get more! Also the tea wasn’t loose-leaf which was a little disappointing for me, as surely that’s what you should expect at a 5* hotel (?). The scones and patisseries were lovely, and anything you couldn’t manage to eat, boxed up to take-away. Champagne was very pleasant, but we declined another glass which was £24 each. The highlight of the experience for me was the charming Kevin playing the piano. He’s such a gentleman, and wish I could have had more time to speak with him as he has great life stories to share! And, of course, a master at what he does. This time, it just didn’t match up to my previous visits, and with so many other options available, I shall consider looking elsewhere on my next visit to London.

We had afternoon tea yesterday in the Crystal Moon and it was a beautiful experience. Rosa, our server looked after us so well, explaining the menu and giving recommendations when needed as one of my friends is pregnant. The setting is stunning, food exquisite - especially the selection of different teas and the sandwiches... wow! Along with Kevin on the piano who surprised us with songs by irish artists. It was by far the best afternoon tea I've had in London..thank you!

Best afternoon tea I’ve been to in London so far - super attentive service from Sacha which made the entire experience even better, she really is an asset to the team. My favourites were the Turkey and truffle sandwiches as well as the smoked salmon!

Pre-arrival: booking and communication very good. We had high hopes, family treat for birthday pre-theatre. I had seen a TV programme documenting the Crystal Lounge and Tea experience which inspired the visit. Our booking was at 4.30pm and by 5.30pm the service had deteriorated. I recommend visitors book earlier appointments for the staff to still be serving. What’s good: - the ambiance - the table setting : choice of tableware, glassware. The champagne Mille nuits flutes are beautiful What’s lacking: -TEA what a disaster - it is served either stewed or too weak and is served from an urn (we think) pre-prepared in the kitchen. This is the first time we have not been served loose leaf tea for us to decide on infusion time ourselves. - COFFEE - was ordered and was like tar - CAPPUCCINO- was good The sandwiches were average, we had special needs and were served gluten free but no one has an allergy it was just easier for the staff to deal with our needs this way. The cakes, again gluten free (why ?) and the display looked incredible. The choice and quality a little disappointing. The scones were very good - left out of my takeaway boxes so no attention to detail. We had high expectations and felt deflated - we were disappointed with our experience overall.

Booked the afternoon tea for my parents to celebrate my dad's b'day. The food was amazing as was the service, they were really looked after. The pianist came over to wish my dad happy birthday and take a song request too. Would definitely recommend. They currently have a deal on the afternoon tea's at the moment so only one paid. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were attentive and the food was delicious.

Scones and cakes were decent, as one would expect at a 5-star hotel in London. Service was great. Marco and Bassam took good care of us. We could not finish all the desserts, and Marco offered to put them in takeaway boxes for us. When we asked if we could also take away the two truffles and egg sandwiches that we loved but were too full to finish, Marco kindly asked the kitchen to put six fresh ones in a box for us, which made my baby cousin very happy :)

If I could I would give it 6 stars! A warm welcome, impeccable service, delicious food and an exceptional setting! The perfect atmosphere with the piano and the little extra of a souvenir photo. This afternoon tea was beyond our expectations, we will definitely come back!

Was at Corinthia on Saturday 16th December for afternoon tea. Firstly, we were celebrating my niece's birthday which I informed them about, but was not recognised on the day, so very disappointing. They had even mentioned it the day before when telephoning to confirm my booking. Also, one of the sandwiches was moldy, which was not good. Compensated us with a free glass of bubbly, but think this didn't go far enough, perhaps dropping the £84 service charge would have been better. Also, felt rushed at the end as if they wanted us to leave. So overall, not a good experience.

I enjoyed my afternoon tea at Corinthia. Food was plentiful and delicious -sandwiches, scones and pastries. Staff were lovely, but, as I was dining alone, I felt that I didn't get the same service as other tables seemed to. I had to ask for more tea when mine was empty, for example.

After seeing all of the reviews, we we’re really looking forward to our Christmas afternoon tea. I must say I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed with the experience we actually had. Don’t get me wrong, all of the food was delicious and nice, but nothing spectacular. My partner mentioned some of the dessert tasted like Marks and Spencer’s, and I had to agree. The lady who served us was very pleasant. However she seemed to be rushing us compared to other tables, they also offered everyone else but ourselves extra sandwich’s. A gentleman very kindly offered us a refill on our champagne, however to find a charge for another £50 on our bill was a little surprising. The atmosphere was okay, very dull and somewhat awkward for the first half an hour until the pianist started to play. To summarise, not worth the money at all. It was a nice experience but only worth a 3rd of what we paid for.

We were so lucky to go there for our afternoon tea experience. Great atmosphere, excellent tea and snacks, and amazing staff. We were well taken care of. It’s an experience that we will remember for a long time. And to top it all off, they gave us a couple of spices plum jam jars to take home, as a gift. Thank you!

The afternoon tea at corinthia was a lovely treat. The scones, the sandwiches and the pastries were absolutely delicious. But what made the experience that extra special was Marco who looked after us. He went above and beyond and was always checking up to see if we wanted any more sandwiches or teas. He was so welcoming and friendly and made the experience well worth the visit.

Really nice experience. I had some afternoon teas before but this is unique. The staff is very friendly, gentle, there is a pianist all the time, as should be this afternoon experience. We had the champagne experience and is a nice one, and the staff brought an extra sandwich of our favourites ones. The decoration is something special and they have a masterpiece lamp with 1001 crystals, it’s quite hypnotic. Highly recommend for afternoon tea experience.

Avevo provato a riservare The Ritz o Savoy; é stato letteralmente impossibile. Questo hotel ha risolto tutti i problemi perche si trova in centro, siamo arrivati senza problemi e soprattutto abbbiamo ricevuto un servizio superiore rispetto alla mie aspettative. Siamo venuti a festeggiare il compleanno di mia madre, é stato il motivo per cui ho scelto una location appena piu "sofisticata*. La parte riservata all'afternoon tea non é antica ma ha un fascino fresco, elgante; non é necessariamente formale o troppo strutturata. Le persone che ci hanno accolto sono state molto gentili e mi hanno fatto sentire come a casa, perfettamente in sintonia con il posto. Abbiamo scelto di prendere un calice di champagne a testa; poi sono arrivate tutte le altre portate => the + tramezzini (anche nella versione vegetariana per mia madre) + le paste con la crema e la marmellata + e infine la parte dei dolci (torte, biscotti e piccoli desserts). Durante l afternoon tea siamo stati accompagnati dal sottonfondo musicale di una pianista che si esibisce nella sala accanto alla nostra; musiche tratte da colonne sonore o musiche celebri... insomma piacevole da ascoltare. - tramezzini voto: 9 - the voto: 9 - dolci voto: 7/8 - disponibilita voto: 8 - location: 8/9 Un ringraziamento speciale a Domenico, ragazzo italiano, che e' stato super gentile, professionale e soprattutto che ha accolto le nostre richieste. Excellent Afternoon Tea, with very pleasant and attentive staff, although delivery of actual tea and coffee was very slow. Some people may be regulars at such an establishment, but for others it is meant to be a treat and an experience. The disppointment came from where we were seated. We were on the periphery of the concourse separated from it by large pillars and a thoroughfare, which traversed the hotel and was continually used by hotel guests and staff, including the General Manager (accompanied by guests), a member of staff taking a vacum cleaner from one area to another and a lady sweeping the floor. I appreciate why the hotel would position 5/6 tables in that area, between them they will gross £1000 minimum per afternoon, which is serious income, but when cutomers are paying around £100 each, surely they should expect a much better ambience. Regretfully the risk of being seated in the same area does not make me want to return, even for the excellent food.

Was visiting from the states and had to do an afternoon tea, this came up was a was looking around the area, I would highly recommend this. Amazing experience, felt very extravagant.

Average afternoon tea for London. Booked for my 50th birthday. The tea itself should be loose tea, its not here, & served not very hot. My husband had to send the tea back & they had forgotten to bring another pot. The vegetarian sandwich’s were bland, although the bread itself was good. Scones hard. Good selection of cakes. Service ok, not quite 5 star hotel service. The hotel setting is beautiful, attention to the ladies toilets should be addressed as not particularly clean. There is certainly better afternoon experiences in London.

I could go on about how amazing the afternoon tea is here, but wife’s happy face says it all.

The first glance at the chandelier was a breathtaking experience. The venue was luxurious, sophisticated, in what promised to be an unforgettable night. Unfortunately, however, all went downhill from there. The sandwiches lacked taste, both to the palate and the eyes. The (mini) scones not only were served cold, but also they were dry and again tasteless. The pastries were impeccably presented, on what seemed to be a breath of fresh air (and hopefully flavour), but again left us looking helplessly at eachother, with a bitter aftertaste. The waiters were kind (when present), but the long waits between each serving (or being left with no drink whatsoever when asked to have a different tea) were again far from matching the beauty of the place. Perhaps it was just a bad day, but not sure I would dare to take the risk to verify it.

Live music, delicious sweets and hot tea of your choice. Need to say more? Everything about this beautiful place is top notch. Service is great. There was no request that they didn’t fulfil. Amazing choices of tea and alcohol. Wide variety of sandwiches available. Must try if you are visiting London.

Being it was my first time in London I was very excited for afternoon tea and this place did not disappoint. It was a lovely atmosphere, the staff was attentive, friendly and answered any questions I had. The white chocolate pistachio cookies & scones were delicious. Wonderful experience.

When we arrived the table we were assigned was in the hall way, which you can see the hotel guests carry their suitcase walk pass you, so we asked to change to the middle dining area, which was sorted very quickly by the staff. Nice ambiance, quite busy, at one point it took 10 minutes to get my coffee. Sandwiches and scones were nice, the pastries were nice has well. Overall nice experience and will be happy to go again.

This was my second visit to the Corinthia for afternoon tea and on this occasion it was my friends 50th birthday and yet again the experience was fantastic and I can not recommend enough. From the minute you walk in the atmosphere is lovely, very relaxed and the decor and surroundings are just beautiful. The pianist playing all types of music adds to the vibe and what I like is that you find all walks of life having a lovely afternoon tea and good time. I had a call in advance to check dietary requirements and if it was a special occasion so the whole experience was seem less. Our champagne afternoon tea tasted delicious, was fresh and offered a fantastic variety. A special shout out to Eloise who looked after us and just couldn’t do enough, if we wanted extra sandwiches we could, we were offered more cakes and I was lucky enough to have cakes (and some extra cookies for my daughter) boxed up to take home. Elouise was chatty, down to earth, explained the food clearly and just made us smile. I hope she is there next time I visit. Well done Corinthia again, can’t wait for my next visit xx

Sandwiches and scones were nice, I'd say the sandwiches quality are between Savoy and Dorchester, they are replenishable but pastries and scones are not, which they said they are at first. The takeaway bag doesn't have separate space so everything stuck together when I got home. Overall nice experience and will be happy to go again.

We were here for a birthday celebration and we could not have been looked after better. Lovely recommendations on the tea and the tea fizz. Sandwiches were a good size and wonderfully tasty. Great to be served from the sweet trolley. Warm scones with both jam and a rhubarb compote as well. Fabulous time on our first visit.

Although our table was not ready on arrival and had to be seated at the bar, no one came to collect us. I eventually went back myself at 15.15 to see if my table was ready. Was shocked when at 17:00 we were presented with a bill we hadn’t asked for and told we’d over stayed our time slot. Given the bill was £178 pp, I expected better from such a venue. Food was great but severely let down by service.

Lovely spot for afternoon tea in central London. The sandwiches were lovely, but I especially enjoyed the selection of sweet delicacies. Tea wise, there was a suitably large range of teas to choose from which I really liked. All in all, great atmosphere with very attentive staff. Transport wise, there is a valet service available which I made use of which was very handy.

High Tea at the Crystal Moon Lounge was the best I have ever experienced and tasted! All the staff were attentive, friendly and extremely professional. The variety of different sandwiches were delicious. Especially the smoked salmon melted like butter in my mouth like butter!

Unfortunately the experience was spoiled by the staff’s eagerness to get us through our tea as quickly as possible. At times this verged on rudeness. I had wanted to have afternoon tea here for so long - so disappointed

While visiting London we enjoyed afternoon tea at Fortnum and Mason and Corinthia London, and it was a superior experience at Corinthia. The service was attentive yet relaxed, the tea was excellent and brewed correctly, and the food was well presented and tasty. My wife went for the vegan option and they executed on it well. If anyone is looking for one tea to do on a visit to London, I'd definitely steer them here over Fortnum and Mason

Four of us went for afternoon tea at the Crystal Moon Lounge in the Corinthia hotel while on a brief visit in London last month. We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent - nice range of sandwiches, scones that were among the best I’ve had and a variety of a scrumptious cake and pastries to finish. Gorgeous room with the spectacular chandelier. Beautiful atmosphere. Service was just okay. Everything else top notch. A nice goodie bag of left overs to go home with. I thought it was value for money and would repeat the experience.

Four of us had a wonderful Afternoon Tea; expensive but unique. Afternoon Teas are something Californians don't get to experience very often. If you're on vacation in London it's a must - reservations required! Yummy finger sandwiches - all you can eat and wonderful desserts which they'll bag for you if you can't finish them all, which we could not!

Went to the Corinthia for afternoon tea today for my birthday . The room is beautiful with stunning flowers and centrepiece stunning chandelier . Service at the beginning was wonderful but then our waiter left and the waitress although lovely was not on the ball at all and we waited 20 minutes for another pot of tea which did spoil things a bit . Sandwiches were fresh and plentiful , the scones were the star of the show , lovely and warm and the strawberry jam was a delight . Cakes were lovely . Been to lots of other London afternoon teas where the service is much better . Was rather shocked at the state of the ladies toilets , things all over the toilet floor and the sinks were soaking wet and liquid soap all over the sinks , definitely the dirtiest toilets in a 5* hotel I’ve ever been in .

Beautiful place, we were seated on a very low table with a sofa so it was a bit difficult sometimes to eat properly. This was mainly due to the fact there was five of us and they have no tables large enough. The afternoon tea itself was really nice sandwiches were unusual flavours, things like egg was truffle, which wasn't really my favourite. Scones were warm and very tasty cakes were amazing. The only thing on a negative note was when we arrived for the first hour, there was no pianist as she didn't start until later in our service. I will definitely come again, but have to say I preferred the occasion of the Ritz!

A wonderful afternoon. We took our Ukrainian guests for a traditional English afternoon tea and it was just delightful. The setting is beautiful and the staff were so friendly and relaxed, made us feel so very welcome. It’s not stuffy at all which is what we really liked. The sandwiches were delicious as were the scones and cakes. So much food! They kindly boxed up the cakes we couldn’t eat and we enjoyed them at home the next day. Loved it and would definitely go again.
