This is a lovely little location to go to with all the family &/or friends. There is a selection of very good homemade cakes, pasties & light lunch options, and there's a selection of meat for sale in the farm shop. There are also outside pens with sheep, ducks, chickens & goats

My partner booked the ‘Highland Cow Experience’ for my birthday. It was the best day! Everyone is so welcoming and lovely at Lizzie’s farm. John took us on a tour of the farm, giving us his knowledge and stories from his many years of owning the farm. He took us to see all the highland cows (he has so many beautiful highlands!). This wasn’t a commercial tour where the highlands are brushed, shampooed and made to stand for tourists. The cows are left in their own environment and John knew them all individually and allowed us to get out and interact with several of the Highlands, ones he knew enjoyed human interaction. The cows he knew were more cautious were left to graze their giant fields. John answered all of our questions and the tour felt really authentic and ethical. They let one of the cows into a barn so we could brush her and she loved it! She was really relaxed and well cared for. He took us to see his flock of sheep too and we had a cake and a drink afterwards. An absolute hidden gem here in the West Midlands. Happy cows and a lovely family farm! Highly recommend

Lovely food and very nice staff. Lovely little farm. Coffee and pasties were fab. Service was a little slow, but the food was hot, nice portions, and they were busy. The animals were cure and friendly. I'm definitely happy to go back another day. Great couple of hours out for the family.

The service is terrible, we waited almost an hour for 2 pasties and 2 coffees. We were advised it was a short wait but an hour is too long.

Ok. I realised they were busy when we got there as all the tables were taken. However, we did sit for 58 minutes (notifications on the banking app) for 2 coffees and 2 pasties. I was informed when we ordered there was ‘a bit of a wait’ but this was far too long, not improved by the fact that the waitress said after around 40 mins that ‘we were next’. After this another 4 or 5 orders came out which really didn’t lighten the mood. When we pointed this out as we finally got served, we were offered a refund if we wanted to go back to the till but never really an apology or explanation. I’m sure they were snowed under, or missed the order, or something, however I would expect this to be communicated if it were the case. We were cycling on to Bromsgrove but this kind of spoiled our plans for the day so we turned round and came home.

So today my family took me to Lizzie's farm for a birthday treat and to do the Highland Cow experience. Wow, it was fantastic. John, Jonathan, Micky and Lizzie where just lovely. Loved the tour so much, obviously loved the cows, so much knowledge and history. Such a lovely family with lots of stories to tell and John had some great jokes. Cake and coffee after was the best. If you love cows it's a must. There is also other animals to see but cows are the best just saying. Thank you for making this such a special day for me and my family.

Been to Lizzie's Farm today with the family for my wife's birthday treat, for the Highland Cows Farm Experience. This included a full Farm Tour with Farmer John, his daughter Lizzie, his son Jonathan and their Farm Hand Micky. What an amazing experience everyone was so passionate about the farm and everything to do with it. They were all so happy to go into detail about the various aspects of farming in response to our endless questions!! We saw Highland Cows up close, along with sheep, goats, geese and let's not forget Dudley the Donkey. It was all finished off after about 2hrs 30 minutes with coffee and cake. Thank you all so much for a fantastic time.

Amazing Visit to Lizzie's Farm. Have been a couple of times to visit the shop and see the animals (all free). However, today for my birthday my husband and I did the highland cow experience. What an experience that was! Amazing time - 2 and a half hours of happiness. John, Mickey & Lizzie were so friendly and amazing. Made us feel at home. Thank you so much guys. Will definitely be telling all our friends and family to experience what we had done today.

Attended for the first time with family, including grandchildren. Was lovely to be able to touch the animals . Loved the hammocks that the rats were sleeping in. Cheeky black goat pushing his way in to greet everyone! Lovely little farm shop and animal themed gifts such as oven mitts, bamboo socks and unusual glassware. Huge slices of cake and tasty tea in the cafe. We eventually sat outside and the kids enjoyed a game of hide and seek, allowing the grown ups to chat. We stayed for about 3 and a half hours. Little gem of a place... Will definitely return, with or without the grandkids.

First time visiting the farm and certainly won't be the last. My husband and I walked to the farm from Birmingham and I cannot recommend this enough, it was such a beautiful day and the farm is gorgeous. There is a small cafe on site with baked goods, hot and cold drinks and pasties. The food and drinks were lovely and the shop is definitely worth a visit. My husband and I are already planning our next trip to the farm.

Such a great experience. Lizzie, her dad John and Mikey were amazing. 150 cows and John knew all their names and parents. He is so knowledgeable and you can tell he genuinely loves it. Was driven around the whole farm and got to see the cows, sheep and goats up close. Brushed one of their bulls who was so, so cute. Bottle fed the lambs and finished off with tea and cake in their cafe. They have fresh eggs and ice cream made from the milk and meat from their cattle. Highly recommend for everyone.

Second time we've been, this time with the in-laws and it didn't let us down. As someone who eats everything, I rarely have an issue with tasting menus. The snacks to begin were outstanding, and the venison, passion fruit & stilton courses really stood out. Very memorable. I will say that my girlfriend struggled a little bit with the mushroom course, but that was just personal taste. Lovely atmosphere, laid back and not formal, wine was perfect too. Will be back next year!
