This café covers the frontage of three original shops and has a pavement site. Good coffee and scones and a good selection of cakes which are a little on the expensive side at £4-95 for a modest slice. I guess everything is a bit more expensive in these times

The coffee was ok, the scone was ok but nothing to write home about. I know that things are different in these COVID restricted times but can think of no reason why it is necessary to use mainly disposable cutlery/plates including plastic forks and knives and, worst of all, polystyrene plates. Hot soapy water kills COVID so metal cutlery and proper cups and plates are perfectly safe and much more environmentally friendly. We won't be back here.

We needed some warming refreshment from a cold, wet and windy walk and this coffee shop delivered. It s not a fine China and afternoon tea shop but they welcome everyone. we had a delicious lentel soup with a side of cheese and pickle toasty, sounds a little strange but wow it works. Together with a pot of pipping hot tea it ticked all the boxes at reasonable price. We never had any but the cakes and scones all looked home baked and define. One point to note if your a vegetarian is that the lentil soup has a base stock of ham that wasn't mentioned until after I enquired how they get so much flavour into a soup.

Visited after walking at the Lodge. Average is a good description. No child change facility but only small tea room. Staff were ok. Food was ok. Aberfoyle is such a lovely place with great walks. The tea room was just ok.

Liz MacGregor Coffee ShopNice wee gem of a find in Aberfoyle.Sadly the place looks well used and slightly dark/jaded - possibly due to high customer popularity.Staff were kind of welcoming but appeared under pressure with busy customers! Please, please don't let this put you off!The fruit scones/jam/cream and cakes are just amazing! You are spoiled for choice!Amazing in quality and portion size - a real feast for a morning/afternoon coffee stop.Prices are surprising good as the shop is prime location. You will be disappointed to have missed out on this MacGregor experience!
