Ordered our food, it arrived after an hour (that was fine), however, it all arrived cold and the containers squashed. All the food had a rubbery consistency like it had been left sitting for a long time and re-heated. The nan I ordered wasn’t the nan I received. The food was very bland, I ordered a madras and the dish I received had no heat to it whatsoever, and actually had a weird coconut taste. In fact all the dishes tasted of coconut. We ate what we could but myself and my husband instantly started feeling hot and sick whilst we were eating. We were violently sick straight away. We know there’s no point trying to call Little India as they won’t do anything about the situation. But we will never be ordering from there again. Vomit inducing, cold and bland. Never again.

My son & his girlfriend got the keys to their first home today so we decided to order a takeaway in celebration. The one we usually go to in Witham had gone downhill so we started using Balti Nights in Braintree as it had great reviews and is supposed to be the Top Takeaway in Essex. I don’t agree with this as I wasn’t impressed with the food or service soooo We decided to try Little India in Witham. WOW, why haven’t we tried this before ? I mean the food is delicious and very reasonable plus their service is faultless. We collected the order. (COVID safe of course), but they forgot something so, we called to let them know and they immediately dispatched a driver without making a fuss, who brought our missing item. Would really recommend these guys again & again. Well done Little India, you deserve the award for top takeaway, so very much better than Balti Nights!

Having lived in India and also East London where we were surrounded by incredible Indian restaurants, I have to say that Little India is the best curry we've had since moving to Essex 5 years ago. Customer service is great, super polite, lovely delivery man, arrives on time and hot, the dishes all have great individual flavours (whereas some places it can taste like they're all from a central pot), no wacky food colourings or msg that makes you thirsty all night. Really great, and generous free delivery zones. Definitely our go to for all Indian take away needs.

Was 20 mins late but Food was top and worth the wait! Had the Tikka Masala and was delightful 👌🏼 peshwari naan was lush

Quite the most disgusting curry I have had in many years. Not only not the one ordered but doubtful that it was a true bhuna. The chicken, which was not ordered was of very poor quality. Wont be a customer again.

I ordered a takeaway with delivery for myself and my wife after a long hard day at work. The delivery arrived MINUS the rice. I immediately tried to contact Little India but they did not answer the phone. We therefore threw the curry as we could not eat curry without rice. Just eat did credit me for the missing rice though so I did manage to get a little back. The meat was very rubbery and chewy as well. I will never use this shower again.

After recently moving to Rivenhall, this was our first takeaway as a family. I tailored my dish in terms of spice and was not disappointed. Balti Chilli chicken was great, accompanied by a nice keema nan. My wife ordered as sweet and creamy dish and was happy with the contrast. Rice dishes also well cooked. Samosas were ok, quite small, I feel 3 instead of 2 would match the price. Quick and piping hot upon collection, we will return for sure and try out some more dishes.

I had a Railway Chicken which was unusual but very well prepared and full of flavour. My wife had Tandoori Chicken with salad and 2 different sauces. Excellent! We were given a delivery time which was respected to the minute. Worth every penny.

Food hasn't arrived yet. Ordered at 19.05 and it's now 20.27 half hour late. I'm hoping that little India can do something to compensate me.

My husband and I have ordered from this place several times and they were always late. Funny enough I am writing a review as I am waiting for the food to arrive. It's been an hour and a half and nothing. No updates either. The countdown they send you by email is pointless, and yet they dare to add a delivery charge. Food is overpriced and sometimes they forget parts of your order... Will not be ordering from them again.

They've had several chances to get our orders right. This time 3 dishes were left off the delivery. The Tikka Masala is bright red, not a natural colour and in the past they've said they don't use colourants. Food was dreadful. Total waste of money. No, No, No.

So ordered from little India on Saturday night. Food was really nice but me and the family has all had severe food poisoning today. I have not left the toilet since 1pm! I’m in agony.. although food was nice I will never be ordering from here again!

I mistakingly ordered from here to Braintree through hungry house. I was however surprised that order arrived just after predicted time and was complete. The samosa rice Bombay aloo and popadums were good. Peswari naan seemed under cooked and the Korma was very bland and pale. Chicken was nice but the curry sauce was awful.

thought we would try a new indian delivery tonight and it was spot on but no pilau rice, so bit annoyed, we still enjoyed the food but we did pay for the rice and delivery fee, hopefully the restaurant will reimburse, gt totham cm9 8py

Had a really bad one tonight, the worst takeaway i have ever had, something has changed here ? maybe the cleaner is doing the cooking or something, but absolutely was S--t tonight

Realmente decepcionado con nuestra llevar. Llevó 90 minutos de entrega y estaba HELADA a la llegada. Y pagamos por la poppadums, recibido, pero no poppadums salsas me dijo que podía esperar 45 minutos para que sea entregado a la que estoy de acuerdo. No llegaron. A menudo no tienen para llevar este fue un regalo. Pagué 20 libras y 18 libras la pena de recibido comida, incluso el hombre de entrega. propinas Nunca más.

Delivery took 90 mins, got the usual 'oh it's on it's way' the food is ok at a push. Witham doesn't seem to have any decent curry houses

Been using this particular takeaway for about 12 months now, until then used to use Hatfield Tandoori which has gone down hill. Highly recommend Little India.

Amazing food, alot of options and good for fussy children. Would highly recomend to any indian food lover.

Found this place by accident hidden away in witham away from the town centre, me and group of us ordered a large takeaway was surprised how fresh and tasty everything tasted would highly recommend to everyone👌

Recently went here by recommendation by a friend.I love indian food they have such a choice here and some real in house specials tried a couple of their dishes wow such flavour and spices blended to perfection staff were great and friendly my new favourite Indian would definitely recommend to everyone
