Little Waffle Shop in Dacorum

Thought this was an amazing find and not at all expensive for what you got. Family from 9 - 70 yrs visited and all enjoyed what they had . It is a small shop - hence its name - The Little Waffle shop with limited seating but a couple of tables outside as well. Not sure how they have ever got a bad rating - there’s nothing not to like - provided you like waffles ! Coffee great as well and the young girls were very busy but friendly and helpful.

Loved this cafe. Waffles were delicious. Service was great. Don't agree with the previous negative reviews. Staff were very friendly and we felt very welcome.

It was lovely! The food was pleasant I had a waffle with bacon, the environment was great + and the staff were inviting . Thank you so much for an amazing experience!!!!

Amazing waffles great hot chocolate would recommend I just did not like the cinnamon on the Waffle but you can ask for it without

I took my 2 grandchildren here as a special treat. Sadly it didn’t turn out that way. In spite of advertising “child” portions , it turned out that these were only available on the cheese option. Obviously it would be too difficult to offer child portions on the other options. The waffles were not particularly appetising and the table and environment were somewhat grimy. The staff were surly and unhelpful and to add insult to injury it seemed inordinately expensive. Definitely won’t be going back.

Absolutely amazing staff, very nice and considerate and the milkshakes were amazing and got my order perfectly right! Definitely coming back!

Total rip off and very unhelpful staff. We took our grandchildren aged 7 and 5 for a special treat but it turned out to be a very expensive mistake. After deciding which flavours our grandchildren wanted I asked for the kids size only to be told that they only had cheese waffles in kids size! I thought they were supposed to be freshly made on the premises so why could they not make kids sweet ones, only cheese! However they said they could do adult size sweet waffles! So as not to disappoint the children we paid for 2 of the adult sizes. Each plate had 2 small waffles topped with ice cream and toffee sauce. Why could they not offer one adult size to be split between them? The waffles and 2 coffees cost over £18. - Absolutely outrageous. The 2 girl’s serving were very unhelpful and appeared rather moody. The fact that the place was completely empty whilst Culture Bakery across the road was absolutely full of customers says it all. I will definitely not be returning and will advise all my friends to avoid this place.

A great place to enjoy a reasonably priced lunch. We waited a short while as the waffles were freshly made (ignore the other reviewer!) and were really tasty. Our family enjoyed both sweet and savoury waffles - my southern fried chicken waffle was fantastic! A must!

This was my fourth visit to the Little Waffle Shop and each time it has been delicious with exceptionally friendly service and very reasonable prices they even have half or full waffles if your not so hungry. Also believe the person who left the negative review must have got the wrong place!! I ate in with a friend then took two waffles home for my daughter and husband who also loved them. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a tasty treat in Tring!!

A friendly coffee shop, where staff take the time to interact with you. Serves great coffee and hot chocolate. Have had both the savoury and the sweet waffles. Enjoy them all but my favourite is the Wimbledon. Previous reviewer may have wrong coffee shop. Menu is clearly displayed behind counter. Food is freshly made. Often a reasonable (and well worth it) wait, especially for savoury waffles. Small and cosy. The perfect place to recharge.

The negative reviewer is a clown. We came for a long weekend to Tring and came twice. Lovely little place, helpful and polite service, quick food of a decent standard. Menu board was clear and place was nice and clean. Coffee was also nice.

This place is nothing but a little disappointment. The waffles themselves are rubbish and served so fast we could only assume they were just cheap pre packaged mass produced trash, certainly how they tasted. The source put over them were not only tasteless but so little we thought maybe they were joking when they served up the food. There is no menu so anyone new has no idea what is actually on offer. The young girls just rush through the options like they were busy or had an appointment to rush to. Instead they were just stood around like lazy louts. The music was pants. All in all our first visit was our last ever visit. Hope the place closes down soon so something useful can go in its place.

Just a wonderful little treasure, based in a corner of Tring. Was constantly busy, the guy running it couldn’t be more helpful. The food was outstanding with a good range. There were all different ages coming in for a tasty waffle. Well done Waffle house, long may you continue. Highly recommend.
