Little Palace Cafe in Lambeth

Great British food, especially the beef stew! We always visit Ness when in Crystal Palace. Always made very welcome.

Full English and coffee went down a treat! Everything cooked in good amount of time and tasted delicious. Seems to be family run business and got that welcoming feeling being in here. Would recommend to anyone and will be coming again!

Went in for a Sunday morning breakfast. Lovely gent running the place, will flex anything on the menu, nothing is too much trouble. Full English with tea or coffee for just over a fiver, in a clean and tidy establishment with good customer service in the centre of Crystal Palace… what’s not to like???

English breakfast here is amazing. Large plate, very cheap and the loveliest staff. He always makes me feel welcome and I always come back :)

He visitado Little Palace varias veces y no tengo una mala palabra que decir al respecto. El ambiente es reconfortante y agradable, el menú tiene un precio muy razonable y está lleno de excelentes opciones y el propietario siempre está sonriendo y me saluda calurosamente cada vez. El Little Palace Club Sandwich es fantástico, incluso tiene un huevo y viene con una porción de papas fritas y una ensalada. Tienen una buena selección de bebidas y el lugar siempre está limpio. Recomendaría este café a cualquiera en la zona que busque un buen bocado por un buen precio.

Love this cafe. Very consistently good. Great breakfasts and also lunch items are lovely too,the homemade lasagne and chips are excellent. Great prices and friendly service, you can't go wrong here.

This is a really nice little cafe with a large, well priced menu. They provide large portions at great prices and the service is prompt and friendly. It makes a nice change from other more “trendy” options like Brown and Green which, in my opinion, is over priced and far too busy. The full English looked great too.

Fast, efficient service. Very good breakfast. Fantastic value for money. AND the best coffee !! What more can I say.

A wonderful friendly family run cafe! The owner greets each customer with a gleaming smile and cheery banter. The food is excellent comfort food, serving traditional British cafe grub alongside chef specials. A good choice of alternatives for vegetarians and vegans. My guilty pleasure on a Sunday morning after yoga!

Awful. Cheap Bread, Disgusting bacon and weak coffee. Could not eat tge bacon sandwich. Ugh. Must buy value range products

I'm in Little Palace now. It's busy, warm and comforting. Adults (mainly) are just chatting away and many are reading a paper. I had a panini & chips, black coffee (rocket fuel-esque) and a juice. Other half had a chicken burger and two cappuccinos as they're so good. I really like it here. I've told the owner who is very friendly. I reckon our bill including warmth and friendliness will be about £15 which I think is a bargain. I'll definitely be back.

Little Palace Cafe is grand. If I had one issue, and it is somewhat important - they give one slice of toast instead of two and it comes buttered. That does not a full breakfast make! Overall though for the price it does the job!

This used to be our local 'greasy spoon', although I would argue that it's a lot less 'greasy' than many. We love it here and although we've moved a good few miles away, we often go out of our way to re-visit. Always friendly and welcoming, this is a basic cafe, with no pretensions to be anything else. I am saddened to read some of the negative reviews, this is a local cafe, not a wretched chain coffee bar and we've always found it spotlessly clean, however basic. Food as you would expect, a range of breakfasts, roasts, fried stuff, lasagne, stews etc. Hugely popular with the locals, especially those tired of the encroaching gluten-free granola-weaving-vegan gentrification places taking over everything locally. Good coffee, nice people, cheap eats. Enjoy.

It's quite a busy establishment, possibly attracted by the relatively cheaply priced meals. Full English breakfast was available and cooked properly! The only problem seemed to be paying for it. We asked for the bill twice but no bill arrived. I eventually had to go to the counter to pay.

Didn't fancy any of the expensive, smart restaurant bars in the area as we just wanted a quick bite. This fitted the bill perfectly with vegetarian options and reasonable prices. The staff were friendly. Loos rather basic and a bottle of bleach needed! Would certainly...

Popular greasy spoon, but found the food pretty meh compared to our old local greasy spoon. Didn't return.

I went to this cafe today with my daughter she ordered a drink with a glass, the glass smelt like egg due to it not being cleaned properly. So asked for a new glass. Then brought one it still smelt so my daughter didn't use...

The food here is just lovely! the Breafasts are nice and the service is good. The staff are very friendly and spark up a convo.

The full English breakfast (£5.50!) was so yummy I didn't manage to take a proper picture, sorry ;-) Great cheese and bacon omelette, big portions btw, flavoursome black pudding, crispy bacon, perfectly-done poached eggs... and brown toast (not easy to find in a non-trendy cafe...
