Always good quality, good prices and fast delivery. My favourite local takeaway. Having tried various other takeaway sushi places in the past this is definitely best value for money and quality. The softshell crab tempura is particularly awesome.

Never again, not if you expect food!Ordered online at 6.50. At 7 order accepted by restaurant (this is important!) with delivery time estimated at 8.05. I thought this was late but they had set expectations so waited.At 8.20 chased up order online (I called but no one picked up phone from 8.05 to 8.20) they then updated delivery time to 8.40!Upset but nothing I could do to cancel as the app said they knew of my complaint and had started food, no one would pick up as the phone was taken off the hook.9 o’clock still no food, no one picking up BUT THEN APP SAYS DELIVERED!! To be clear no food had been delivered and no ideas what to do as the app had done all It could and thought food was delivered!! No one picking up call at LJ. No idea what to do so at 9.10 cooked our own meal despite just moving in and having little food (hence the order). Was in shock at the experience.At 9.30 and whilst eating what I could conjure up they innocently turn up with the food! 2 hours 40 mins after ordering and 30 mins minimum after saying it was delivered!!!Night ruined. Experience terrible. Diabetic wife who had prepped for the delivery time ate unhealthy due to lack of updates. All they had to do was not accept the order if they were that busy but even if they were, 2 hours 40 minutes? How many orders at 6.50 could they have had!!!!

Me and my partner have been staying at the premier inn and we decided we wanted a take away . We love sushi / Japanese food so we decided to order . IT WAS AMAZING AND DELICIOUS and the prices were reasonable. I recommend ordering from little Japan

Lovely and freshly prepared authentic dishes. Simple and delicious. You can see the chef preparing every dish from your seat and the time they've been at this location is a testament to the consistently good food. Ambience is lacking which is a shame, as I would probably go more often otherwise but it's not too dissimilar to the restaurants in Japan.

Love this place...the teriyaki and chicken katsu curry are fantastic. Quick service, tasty food, not too expensive. I would definitely recommend.

I ordered takeaway and encountered excellent service when I went to pick it up. The young man at the counter was polite, professional and very courteous. The sushi and beef yaki udon were amazing!

This is the 2nd takeaway I gave had from here and I am not disappointed this time either. This is the best Japanese takeaway I have ever had. Service was prompt, Sashimi was mouth watering and nigiri very tasty. Just good as sitting down in a restaurant. If you like Japanese, then try this. Delicious. (Tracy, KT15)

Upon presentation looked normal. Sushi was off - smelled awful, pale, sweating, rice wet. Tuna was jellied looked more like liver. Salad was wilted. Chicken smelled old, off and was so dry you couldn’t break it with fingers. Missing an item. Thank goodness. Just Eat called the restaurant who advised they couldn’t deal as there was no Manager. We threw away £60 of food as we valued our health and ate cereal. I know good and safe sushi and this is not it. I subsequently researched on the internet to find 2017 was a good hygiene rating 0/5 and 3 months ago 1/5. Requiring major improvements the summary stated. Had I known I would never have ordered food from here.

The Sushi here is immense. I've had to take myself away as i was developing a £50 a week Sushi habit. The menu has a varied range, and the fish is fresh. It expensive compared to other meals, but i think it's very reasonable compared to other Sushi places. The only downside is i have been refused delivery as they didn't have any drivers... i still needed my fix so went and picked it up. Delivery time is good considering the prep time. And, they don't have a computer, so you have to remember what dish you had last time if you want it again.

Will Definitely be ordering again.

Really disappointed with little japan. The food although on timw was very bland and rushed .had no taste whatsoever especially for the big price they charge you plus delivery!! I find them very greedy that theyve added delivery to customers who live in even less than a 5 mile radius. So ridiculous! And the prices of their food is just unbelievable. Last time they forgot to put soy sauce napkins and chopsticks in my order. I had to wait for an hour for it to arrive. Seriously disappointed. Never ordering again!!!

What a great addition to the takeaway selection in the local area. Friendly staff, rapid service and delicious, healthy, Japanese takeaway food. You can't go wrong with the sweet potato ura maki, vegetable gyoza and any of the filling bento box selections.

The food is always super tasty! Sushi is fresh and main courses arrive boiling hot! Perfect takeaway

El servicio ha ido cuesta abajo. Su menú que están abiertos los estados de entrega hasta las 10. 30:00 pero cuando llamamos a las 9. 50:00 a pedir comida nos dijeron que habían cerrado.

Me encanta el sushi, pero a veces más pasar €€€ en mi gula, este lugar me parece no es tan caro como otros que he probado, y la comida es excelente. Me gusta coger un plato de arroz de carne que es enorme Gyu Don y normalmente la mitad y ahorrar para el día siguiente, este no tiene salsa siempre lo suficiente para añadir algo de ketchup manis a el plato, y luego es perfecto.

Buena comida, excelente sushi de hecho. Rollos de cangrejo y California son muy buenas. Entrega normalmente bajo y horas siempre se convierte hasta localmente y fresco. Última llevar algo ensombrecido cuando el conductor usó un coche y condujimos fuera, vecinos tan tristemente sin prisa no volver. La comida es buena.

Very, very fresh meal and always delicious. The portion size is great, the staff are always friendly and I love watching them make my meal right in front of my eyes. This place is great value for money and the quality is very impressive.

Ordered delivery twice when I was staying in a hotel. Very pleased with the quality of food. I wish they had recommended ordering rice to go with the beef teriyaki, which was just beef with vegetables and sauce.

Best takeaway in the area. So rare to find takeaway sushi anywhere, let alone somewhere that delivers fresh, high quality food in under 45minutes! Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love the food from Little Japan, and usually have no problems with delivery. 30 mins were added to my order, and it didn't arrive until another 30 mins later. According to the app, my food was delivered before it actually got here! So, my gripe isn't with Little Japan - I understand that the traffic is currently an issue near where I live. My gripe is more with how Just Eat manages the delivery status etc.

One item was missing from delivery - was refunded. Yellowtail sashimi was poor quality and ended up throwing it away - smelled and color was off. Rest of food was good (rolls, deluxe sashimi sushi platter, udon soup.

I purchased a few take-aways from Little Japan, mainly sushi and noodle dishes. To be honest they were ok, and good value for money especially with the 10-20% discount on week-ends. But, signs of poor food hygiene concerned me - such as frozen tamago being defrosted in a microwave or the gentleman preparing sushi rice also touching microwave door and other things and then returning to mould the sushi rice in his hands. I won't go back to Little Japan and I would rather drive to Atari-Ya in Kingston to get quality sushi. What I find most disappointing is that they're not taking the food hygiene rating seriously and improve food health standards. Make your own decision whether to go back - at your peril!

The gyozas and tempura spider rolls were soggy and cold. Sashimi was medium quality

Every dish tastes balanced and fresh, been a dozen times, always impressed. By far and away, my favourite takeaway.

Very disappointed with the overall service and very different from other times I've ordered. Despite delivery schedule to 8:35, it arrived only by 9:15. When I called the restaurant for the first time I was told that it had left and when I called the second time I was told it has left 6 min ago. A total lie that the waitress admitted on the phone. When the food arrived it was not at the expected standard, the first piece of salmon sashimi had a spine and overall the fish didn't taste fresh. At the end we end up trowing the food into the bin... what a waste of food and money. I will not order again from then again!

Only positive was the food was quite nice - nothing I can't make myself though. The delivery was awful, not only did they add an extra 30 minutes into the delivery time but it then turned up an hour late!! I called 3 times, only to be put through to the rudest girl that kept telling me "5 to 10 minutes" throughout the hour. Not at all happy that I didn't receive any sort of alternative - money of my order etc. Never again!!!!

I hope my order is attached to this review so people can see the food I ordered because EVERYTHING was absolutely mouthwateringly delicious! Can't fault them for anything, food was delivered fast, delivery man was very sweet and everything cooked to perfection. Too bad I'm only visiting the area, otherwise I'd blow a good chunk of my wages on this restaurant, ha ha ha. Thank you for a phenomenal taste experience!

Wanted it delivered at after 8pm (after kids would be in bed) but was delivered at 7.10pm with the kids still up! Luckily I didn't order anything hot like I normally do. Still tasty, just wouldn't plan ahead of time on the next order.

On recommendation we decided to have a takeaway on Saturday from Little Japan. We ordered 2 Bento Boxes.A salmon and tuna and a chicken terriaki box plus soft shell crabs.we collected our order and the bill was less than £20.00.There was more than 2 people could eat.The food was really tasty and fresh as we ordered it over the counter and waited while it was prepared.Will definitely use again.
