This place was busy with lunchtime trade. A quick, take-away with a very limited menu. Very little social distancing with it being a small shop. The food tasted salty and not the best. Dry rice and not the spice I was expecting. I was so thirsty and parched- despite having a drink whilst eating. Overall it was ok for a quick lunch, but not somewhere I'd frequent and far too salty when I visited.

Lots of people from my work come here to get delicious food like teriyaki chicken and noodles and you can choose different options to make your own desired meal

Absolutely love the food here! As other reviews have said - its the best katsu i've ever tasted! Pork belly is also another favourite.

They have a lovely variety of dishes to choose from and are always willing to customise orders. Everything is fresh and portion sizes are good. Very efficient and friendly service.

I always get the Bibimbap with rice and teriyaki chicken and its brilliant. Really wish this was open during lockdown, craving the cups !!

This place is perfect! Lovely place to stop for lunch or even takeout. The katsu chicken is amazing, as is the pork and the drinks are also great!

The best Katsu I’ve ever had. Friendly and polite service, super quick with an efficient ordering system and it’s easy to understand how to order with clear menu board. I’ve travelled back to Egham many times just to come here. 10/10

It was ok taste. The reviews were good, so tried it out with my boys. It was just an average food, but too pricey for what I ordered. They used micro- waves to reheat my soups noodles. Not very impressed st all.

Have come here on a couple of occasions, now moved to egham and the food is honestly fantastic. The portions are big and great value, tasty veggie options for me and varied meat options for pals. ;3;/ love you cupps <3

Go early if you want the full selection, opens around 11.30 and bibibap sells out by 1pm. If you get there around 12.30 be prepared to queue especially on a friday. I have experienced a queue all the way down the street. The staff are getting faster in the service and have improved lots - I have seen them try different ways to serve, pay, etc and it is working. The food is great and never fails to sort out the lunch hunger. Portions are great. Keep up the fab service and food.

The sushi tastes fresh and so does the food. The Chicken Katsu Curry is very good and I highly recommend it. There are also a lot of options for vegans

Cute little place which is ideal to get takeaway from & sit out in the sun over summer. Would reccomend the teriyaki chicken or tofu. You get a very good portion of great tasting food for cheap!!

Amazing katsu curry, we can't get enough of it and we actually prefer it over others. Overall friendly staff, great food and pricing.

I have been here couple of times and every time I have tried their chicken katsu curry with noodles. The taste is awesome and the portion is also perfect for one. The taste is very unique which you can't find any where else. The only issue with the space inside the restaurant i.e. very small and the best option is to go for take away. Otherwise this is one of the most desirable food joint which is very tasty and pocket friendly.

Honestly, cups is amazing. I don't usually leave reviews, but after coming here for 3 years now, I cannot help but commend them. The flavours are great and the staff are friendly. I swear by the teriyaki chicken with rice (with garlic mayo drizzle on top) and the duck gyoza. All of that for under a tenner AND a huge portion?...A student's dream.

Omg. Well what can I say about The Cups. Their Katsu is by far the best I have ever tasted and you get so much.

When Cups first opened we tried it and liked it. It has been brilliant to witness their rise as they have become busier and busier, whilst maintaining the good quality of the food. Their service is very efficient. I debated whether to stay in the queue (it was lunchtime) but before I could decide I was asked for my order - truly fantastic and these guys deserve a big pat on the back. They all work so hard and deserve the success that this small business has become. Keep it up.

A lovely quick lunch - the portions are huge for the price and the staff were really friendly. We went at about 1pm on a weekday and there was one table left inside. A delicious and filling treat for lunch!

Food is always cooked well, tasty and cheap. £4.90 for a massive portion. They have good variety of cooked dishes and then cold suhsi and drinks Can sit in to eat or take away Friendly staff

Cups offers the perfect lunchtime meal. Some people say it's a limited menu... but it only needs to be limited for lunch. The portion sizes are perfect for lunch. The cost is under a fiver. You can park outside or round he corner.

This place has a very simple formula. A small range of dishes, cooked well and provided for eat in or take-away for a fair price - about £4.50 for a main dish. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. Do not be overawed on your first visit (it's not immediately clear what the deal is and how it works) just ask !

Having just moved to Egham, recently, this Cosy Asian noodle/soup/sushi is very inviting from the outside and I eventually got round to popping in.

They make me happy. One of the reasons for me to enjoy Royal Holloway as much. Now when I go to a fast food place and spent a similar amount of money I am disappointed because I could have had The Cups.

Just Started working in Egham and we have been here a couple of times for lunch in the first 2 weeks.

Great food and reasonably priced will definitely be going back! The best noodles I’ve had at any restaurant in England!

This is our second visit to The Cups, due to our work schedule we only manage to go near their closing time. On our first visit we had an assortment of sushi all tasting really nice. Wasabi is included but you have to buy pickled ginger 50p per small packet if I’m not mistaken. On our latest visit, there were no more sushi so I opted for a prawn Katsu. The chef asked if I am willing to wait as he would cook me some. I agreed and was really impressed that for 1 order he cooked me fresh prawn Katsu! We added tofu with curry and rice which was phenomenal in taste- like honestly I could go veggie if food tasted that good :)

If you live or work in Egham, chances are you will have passed by this wonderful smelling restaurant. For just £4.90 (at time of writing) you can get quite possibly the best cup of Chicken Katsu Curry in the UK (that I've ever tasted). The portions are very generous and is well worth the extra couple of quid to upgrade from your everyday boring Tesco Meal Deal for this.

Went here today for lunch and was blown away. Absolutely delicious. Had the chicken teriyaki cup and chicken gyoza and both were amazing! Will be visiting here in the future for sure!

Can't believe I've walked past this place for years having never been in. Well, I've been in now and it's brilliant!!! Will be coming here again, and often!

This place is a little gem in Egham! It sells food comparable to Kokoro (a big chain), but I dare that the bibimbap (includes vegetables and salad) is what makes this place that bit better.

I cannot recommend The Cups enough! The staff are super friendly, the location and facilities are great and clean and the food - I would eat here everyday and not get tired of it.

Great little hidden gem in Egham. Very quick service, fresh food with real flavour. Highly recommend the Katsu Curry and Spicy Chicken. Small meals start at £4.80 and that's really great value for a genuinely filling meal. I don't find myself snacking in the afternoon if I've had a cups for lunch! I'm here 1-2 times a week.

Had noodles with chicken Katsu curry, they were the nicest restaurant noodles that I've had in a while!! Great food will definitely be going back!

Wow.... This is a mouth watering place. Couldn't decided what to order as it all looked so fresh and extremely tasty. It's a busy place but a great little atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is cheap but outstanding quality. Go! Eat!

This is one of the places you want to keep a secert for yourself, it is my guilty pleasure and one of my favourite places to visit! Keep on doing what your doing and i will carry on visiting!!

Tried this place early evening . Basic menu but it really is worth a try . I hade the tofu and misu soup. All fresh and tasty . Very simple layout . The food left me feeling full but not bloated. Will be back . Well priced.

I usually go for the £4.00 'cups' and occasionally the sushi. Both are excellent quality and great value compared to other options in Egham.

Been a couple times & enjoyed it every time. Katsu is really good & best in the area. Just wish they were open longer & took card.

Great food, great prices, you can't go wrong. The only downside is the location being slightly far away from the royal Holloway campus but despite that the walk is worth it!

Was told about "The Cups" today and went straight down for Lunch. A good selection, all very appetising. Very tasty food (Spicy Chicken with Rice, Veg and Teriyaki). Will be going back!!

Couldn't believe that this was available here. Great lunch deals, loads of variety and very tasty. It is a bit further along the high street, past all the main shops, so you have to look for it. There is limited seating, so either have an early lunch or have it to take away. Definitely recommend it!

I was disappointed as the lunch meal i ordered turned out to be a muky liquid soup with 4 or 5 breaded prawns floating around in it. While it was "ok" in taste at £6.50 this is too expensive for the content. My colleague had a much better meal for the same price with a good range of food types (greens, meat, etc) so maybe the Wall Menu label or my expectations were wrong.

Went here for lunch today ! Lovely shop, had chicken khatsu curry! Was amazing !! Will be going back again next Thursday!! Fab value for money !!

This shop recently opened here so i decided to go and have a look on their food , i abseloutly liked the chicken katsu curry on noodles and the chicken gyoza . Highly recommend this shop for everyone living or passing by egham

This is the best place to eat in Egham. They have a small but great selection of Korean/Japanese dishes. I highly recommend this place to anyone living in Egham or just visiting.

Love the food here and the atmosphere. Well priced for the high quality of the food. I would 110% recommend this place to everyone.

Bought a Prawn Katsu Udon soup for £6.50 to try them out (and a Pork Bimbimbap for later). Very tasty soup, good udon noodles (could have done with a few more in there, but enough to keep me full anyhow) and the Katsu prawns were very tasty, albeit the batter was a little soggy which is to be expected after leaving them in the soup for so long. Downside for me is that it's currently catering towards the Egham weekday lunch time crowd of which I'm not a member. I did ask and I believe they plan to open in the evenings (and hopefully weekends) at some point.
