Had tea here whilst working in Brighton, researched fish & chips restaurants & I wasn't disappointed. I had medium cod & chips with curry sauce, fish was lovely & chips really nice it was more than enough for me. Didn't really enjoy the curry sauce was a little different to what I'm used being a northerner. Fish was cooked to order which I liked & added bonus of quality music in the background (biggy smalls) Would definitely return. £15 in total for my meal.

We were visiting Brighton for a long weekend and wanted to get fish and chips to eat on the beach - we went with one of the closer fish and chips shops with the best reviews which ended up being Little Jack Fullers. Me and my partner had tried a few different food places in the lanes throughout the day so we weren’t “starving” and we decided to share a large cod and chips with curry sauce. The food from Little Jack Fullers was absolutely amazing and portion sizes were generous too. By the time we got to the beach (about a 5 min walk) the food was still piping hot. The fish seemed to be very fresh and the chips were delicious. If we were in Brighton again we would definitely come back here for our fish and chips! Would definitely recommend to anybody visiting and wanting fish and chips by the seaside!😋🎣🍟

Terrible quality and tiny portions. We ordered the plant-based tofu "fish" and the king oyster mushroom "scallops". The tofu was probably a mere 100-150g and maybe one or two king oyster mushrooms. How does this much food cost 7.50 each to deep-fry? We're extremely disappointed as we used to have food from there in the past and it just feels they've become extremely stingy in quantity and quality. Comparing to pictures of the fish dishes in google reviews ours was maybe 1/3 of the fish. Such a pisstake.

Ordered 2 portions of Calamari, got home and found them the most greasy tough/chewy Calamari my friend and I have ever tasted, was like eating bits of rubber. Binned both portions. If you're going to have Calamari on your menu you need to know how to cook them otherwise stick to the fish! They should be tender inside and not too much batter.

If you like your chips dark brown, hard, and dripping in oil this is the place! Just arrived in Hemp Town, starving from a long journey first stop was some chips to accompany my walk on the beach. So disappointing and gross. The hardest , oily and just gross chips I've had in a long time. Before I left I asked if they were fresh as I opened the box they looked like re-fried end of day dregs!!! They said "yes they're fresh we double fry them" !?! Obviously a lie as these were just awful and nothing like other photos here, I came because of the good reviews and the photos of quality chips. I was forced to eat some because it was 3.30 pm and I hadn't eaten a thing all day. They felt like deep fried hard rocky strips of potatoes drenched in oil, I Immediately regretted it, and felt sick. I'd be so embarrassed to serve these if it was my shop! PLEASE DONT SERVE REFRIED END OF DAY DREGS TO YOUR CUSTOMERS FOR £3.60! ***EDIT UPDATE **** On top of it the 'owner' probably too embarrassed is saying this is false, I literally wrote the review within 2hrs of visiting, you can clearly see the photos! I guarantee you the staff know who I was as they saw the disappointment on my fave BEFORE I EVEN LEFT THE SHOP! I ASKED THEM IF THEY WERE FRESH BECAUSE THEY LOOKED SO BAD!! SORT YOUR CHIPS OUT AND APOLOGISE!!! What awfulness.

Made an extra effort to visit this place and try their fish and chips. We were not disappointed, homemade curry sauce, homemade tartare sauce, fish made to order, crispy batter, flaky fish and tasty chips. Very affordable as well. If you want to sit and eat there is outdoor seating otherwise the beach is a 5-minute walk away if you prefer to eat with the sea view.

Beautiful fresh bit of haddock in the lunch time meal deal, crisp batter and spot on chips. Curry sauce was a real standout, not the usual yellow gloop, can't confirm but looks made in-house with real ingredients (edit: it is!).

Yeah this was goood Banged, chips were bang, fish was bang. This was almost the best I’d had, if the fish itself was salted It would’ve been by far but it was still insane! Batter was thin and crisp, nailed this one chef

Wonderful service and fish and chiis

Turned up at 1:30pm, closed. Returned an hour later, still closed. Very unprofessional to put times if you cannot respect them, and therefore respect your customers. I saw 5 other customers who were equally disappointed. Ended up going to Harry Ramsden which was great and open as advertised. Adding you were temporary closed after this review shows how unprofessional you are. Apparently me and the other 5 customers all missed this:) I wish you all the best and a quick recovery.

Chips and fish are perfect. Cod is gorgeously crispy and perfectly cooked fish.

The best fish and chips! Even now that I've left Brighton, I still think about it... It was my first time eating fish and chips and it was so delicious that I started to like fish and chips. Size S is also big and filling. It's a takeout restaurant, so you can't eat inside, but there are a lot of seagulls in Brighton... so be careful of seagulls when eating outside. They take away the fish and chips.

Love this place, fresh fish and chips in Brighton great for lunch, would be 5 stars if not for forgetting my tartar sauce, I would have requested more vinegar on the chips otherwise! This is the best fish and chips of my life. I feel like there is power in the fried food. It stays crispy without getting soggy over time. It felt like it was double fried. The fish was also fresh. It was a really good experience.

Alongside standard fish products, there is an amazing vegan/plant-based menu. 4 main meal items are available - made from tofu, jack fruit, mushroom and cauliflower in their different varieties. All really tasty and good value. All made fresh.

Probably the best fish and chips I’ve had so far in all of my visits to Brighton. Staff are kind and attentive. The fish and the chips themselves are fresh and caught the same day. Calamari was very tasty, although it felt a bit heavy as there was a lot of batter and oil. Seating space is limited and there is only outdoor seating, although the staff are nice enough to offer seating next door in the pub if there are large groups or families. Would definitely be back for more!

Our favourite fish and chips in England so far! 🏆 Got a little too much for 2 of us; large cod, large haddock, large fries, onion rings and calamari 🐟 🍟 🦑 🧅 The fish were thick and fresh, very flavourful in general by itself too. Fries were thick and good on its own as well. Onion rings were one of the best I have had. Calamari also came with a scampi and some cod bites which was a little much 😅 There’s only 3 tables of 2 chairs outside the store though, so do prepared to have your takeout by the beach as a picnic 🏝️ Definitely worth the visit, as can be seen from the constant stream of diners coming in for their fish and chips fix 👍🏻

A hidden steamed restaurant. The prices are really cheap and they are friendly. The fries are really delicious and the cod is fresh. I highly recommend this Brighton fish and chips restaurant!! There are three outdoor tables outside the store and no tables inside.

Fish and chips are great, not the best, but DEFINITELY the best for the cheap affordable price!! Been here twice already and its our second choice whenever we want fish and chips in brighton (1st is Rybka but theyre much more expensive) fish is VERY oily though, but still pretty good for the price. No indoor seating and very limited outdoor seating available but its fine bcs beach is 10min walk away and we ate it by the beach once, and at the outdoor seating the second time. Highly recommend if you want cheap fast fish and chips in Brighton!!

Good fish and chips and vegetarian alternatives.

Decided to try this on the way home from work. Ordered a fish cake and a battered sausage. Wasn't expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Will be my absolute go to when I fancy a treat and really reasonably priced.

value for $ fish n chips relative to food in Singapore (where I am from) and much less UK It is also the best tasting fish n chips I had during my 1 week stay in UK, wrote this review after having 3 fish n chips including 2 in London The rock was amazing and best of all, paid 9 pounds for this set due to a lunchtime deal that was still valid when I visited at 3pm. Portion is huge as well, this was my first meal of the day and I was famished but didn't manage to finish everything. Highly recommend!

Definitely one of the best fish & chips I've had in the UK. Tasty & crispy batter on the fresh cod fish. Chips are not greasy. Servings are big. Only got a small size and enough to get full. Friendly staff and a queu of locals was a good sign. Well priced too. Will definitely go back. 💯

Whilst on a day trip to Brighton we were looking for a good f&c takeaway near to the pier/beach. This place ticked all our boxes. We had cod & chips £10.40 each. The food is cooked to order so there’s a little wait but it was fresh, hot & very tasty… and the portions were large. The staff are friendly and they allow you to put your own salt & vinegar on which we liked. We totally recommend this place and we will visit here again when we’re next in Brighton.

Long wait for food as it was really busy and they had just about sold out of fish for the day. Worth the wait though. Fish was lovely and crispy and so were the chips. Only thing I would say is that the vinegar was tasteless even though they put lots on - I see someone else has said the same in their review. Up there with the best fish and chips I've had.👍

First time visiting today I had the jackfruit scampi, medium chips & halloumi. The scampi was really yummy with the breaded coating, and the chips were the best & so crispy!! I enjoyed the halloumi as well My boyfriend had the cod but he thought the fish was thin & generally it wasn’t the best he’d had. But the portion sizes of the chips were good There was a bit of a wait time on the food, weekend I understand it was busy! But two people who came after us got their food before? I assumed it was because of my vegan food the wait was longer There isn’t much seating, but we took our food out to enjoy on the beach. I would visit again

Service was rather slow but understandably so since it got quite busy after I came in. Calamari was delicious, fresh and not rubbery or overcooked. Shame there was no tentacles however as marketed. Price is steep but from what I ordered, pretty worth it.

What a great place to have Fish&Chips (and probably other good stuff we haven't tried). Nice selection of sauces and dips, crispy chips and they really cared how much vinegar I want on the Chips. It was lovely to sit outside (only two tabled) on the street on the cast iron furniture and enjoy life with good food.

Great chips an great plant based choices I love the caullie bites! I was charged £7 for the lunch deal even though it says on this menu it’s £6. It was very quite today as well!Also the staff didn’t seem to be very friendly! We had sat inside to sort out caulli wings in order to close the box! the woman behind the counter, immediately launched into ‘ you can’t eat in here!’ We had no intention. There were 4 seats outside all taken. Won’t be returning after this . Not suitable for disabled and rude staff . I have been many times before so was very disappointed at the staff today!

All staff were friendly, service was quick, haddock, sausage and chips were very good quality and well cooked, batter was amazing. Large haddock was massive and the large portion of chips was also a good size. Definitely go here if you want value for money. We would return if we lived in this area.

First rate fish n chips and great value! I regularly have a "small" lunchtime portion (with mushy peas), costing £7, and it's always huge! Freshly cooked and served with a smile. They even offered and loaned me an umbrella when it suddenly started raining the other day.

Quite simply the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! A special that day was monkfish bites…. Unreal! And gorgeous crispy/ fluffy chips. I’m not a chip fan but this food I would go back for. Such good value for money also. Cannot praise enough 👌

Glad I found this place, a short walk from the beac and around 50% cheaper. You get great portion sizes as well for the price and we've been there twice in 2 years. I think we'll go here every time we visit Brighton. Also very good curry sauce!

A good takeaway spot not far from the pier. We got the plaice, large cod and share box with some chips. All was good, batter is nice and light but crispy. The share box was good too. Chips slightly disappointing as they weren’t salty or vinegary enough and the vinegar in store wasn’t strong enough for us. Firecracker sauce is just chilli ketchup but the curry sauce was nice. Our total meal was around £40 which is reasonable. Not much seating at this place but a good spot to get a takeaway. Service and ambience was good.

Above all others, crispy chips, nice fish, generous lemon wedge with all the traditional trimmings on hand. Thank you guys.

The people who run this place are kind and they care about the customer experience - they want you to enjoy your meal, and they are gentle and patient with everyone. And also: the fish and chips are the best you'll find in Brighton. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

This qas hands down the best fish and chips I've had in Brighton. I had the cod and haddock with chips with sides of mushy peas and tartare, all of which were greatm The tartare especially was delicious. The clerk was super nice and helped us. The prices are normal for Brighton, even a bit less than more commercial locatations like the beach. Overall, I don't have any complaints and loved this chippy!

Really good fish & chips. I had plaice with small chips. Very impressed. Chips were fantastic and plaice was a good size. Would HIGHLY recommend coming here over any of the ones on the seafront, 5mins walk from seafront and a MUCH better fish & chips. Take-away service was pretty quick and staff were good.

Nom nom nom!!! Just had a long day visiting Brighton and my daughter found Little Jack's on-line, and what a find it is. The two lovely ladies working tonight were very polite, professional but also very friendly. We ordered 2 small fish and chips but we couldn't finish them all because it was an amazing amount of food. The chips were utterly perfect and the fish was so soft, it almost disintegrated. Just amazing. Absolute gem of a place, overfed and all for less than £20

This seems to be the best rated fish and chip shop on Google from what I could see and I can confirm it is terrific. We grabbed a variety of bits and pieces and headed down to the beach to eat them. Absolute delicious. Totally recommend.

Great cod and chips. Light batter on a tasty bit of fish, good chips crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, made to order but very quickly. The medium size portion was plenty for me. Staff were welcoming and friendly.

We've tried a lot of fish and chips on our trip to Brighton and these were our favourite by a mile. Staff are lovely, the chips, crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle with lots of salt and vinegar. The fish was fresh and you can buy in 3 different sizes. I had the small and it was not frozen fillet, it was just as fresh as the large with big flakes and crispy light batter. Lovely.
