Little Greek II in Kirklees

Lived in Cyprus and the food here is on par with anything I had there reminds me of good times will be ordering a lot more often

Great night out especially Saturday when its Greek night,and really lovely food Staff are on the ball and really helpful

I booked this table for a girls Christmas night out, having heard good things about the take away in Birstall. It was very disappointing. My houmous starter was very bland. It had no flavour or seasoning. I then ordered the lamb Kleftiko which was nearly all bone and had very little lamb in the dish. My friends meals were also average but mine was extremely poor. I told the waitress and she then knocked the cost of the houmous off the bill - Wow! The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night, and I can see why. As a result, there was no atmosphere. We won’t be returning.

It just wasn't their night and turned out not to be ours either! Apparently card machine out of order so informed required cash or bank transfer. We were only ones in and waitress very pleasant but neglected to take starter order correctly so had to wait for one. But the deepest disappointment was the stifado, no shallots, beef was a long way from tender and the overwhelming tomato sauce had very little hint of the signature nutmeg and cloves. To add insult to injury my online banking was playing up so had to walk into town centre to get cash in the rain. Whilst they were apologetic a free drink or treat might have been more acceptable!

Just been this Saturday evening, so surprised it was almost empty. Really nice frontage and very welcoming. Inside is bright and modern, instant sounds of Greek music which is pleasant, not tacky. Bit slow to start with but waitress was so polite and helpful. Food came quite quickly which was beautiful. Very well cooked. Meatballs juicy and flavoursome. Prawns cooked to perfection and some beautiful pitta with a sauce I can't spell. Mains came immediately after starters were cleared. I had slow cooked lamb and potatoes and my friend had chicken souvlaki. Omg. We couldn't eat it all and the lamb was devine. Melt in the mouth and soooo tasty. I was disappointed not to be able to try pudding. Will definitely be back. Why is this restaurant not packed?! Only drawback I found was that it was quite cold. It made us want to leave straight away, hence the 4 stars, not 5. This place deserves to have a waiting list. Beautiful food. Great service.

Had a very good night last night at Greek night . Lots of entertainment, customers and workers all dancing together . Went as two couples and plenty of very nice food , enough that we took some home . I will definitely go again . The owner and waitresses all kept coming to say hello and made sure we felt welcomed, amazing night

15 of us went last night to little Greek 2. The food was amazing and staff were so attentive and friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend this restaurant

Just been to little Greek ll for tea and would definitely recommend. The service was excellent, very friendly and polite. The food was lovely. Very fresh and tasty. We all really enjoyed it with no complaints. Will certainly be going again.

Went with close friends to Greek night fixed price Menu and what a great night we had for £25.95 First drink then a selection of dips with flat breads, then a selection of starters which include Haloumi,Dolmades, Meat Ball and a pastry with Spinach and Feta Cheese Once we had had our fill the main Meze arrived on a bed of rice were Lamb Chops , Pork Souvlaki, Chicken Souvlaki and Greek Village Sausage oh and a side dish of Beef Stifado all complimented by a very talented musician playing Bazouki we had a great night with great food

The evening got off to a shaky start service wise, with us seeming to wait an age to get drinks ordered, however, the food was good and the atmosphere was fab and greatly enhanced by the live musician playing Greek music in the restaurant. The chef coming out towards the end and plying us with complimentary ouzo was also a nice touch to round off a very pleasant evening. Worth going again.

We ate on Sunday - it was early so the restaurant was quiet but it had picked up by the time we left. We shared the meze platter as a good way to try a few different dishes - massive portions and all lovely. They also offer a really reasonably priced early bird. There is a long wine list (I just had the house, it was nice) but no beer/ale, just lager. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be booking in for their special night of plate smashing and live music at the end of the month! I hope the community supports this new place - the last few restaurants on this site haven’t lasted, so fingers crossed for this!
