Great food and atmosphere! Ronaldo looked after us very well indeed thanks to him we had great night.

The portions are small and the price wise too expensive.

Had a lovely meal here on 1st December. Didnt book. Was told when we arrived we had the table until 8pm. Thats ok!!! The staff were wonderful. However, We felt the service was really rushed. Before i knew where we were i was eating a fancy cheesecake dessert. I had it with ice cream. Food presented well and was lovely. Xx

Absolutely fantastic food and service

Came in for lunch as we’d seen the menu online, as we requested the lunch menu we got told they do not serve it any more and offered an option at almost twice the price. As we were packing up to leave they said they would honour it and provided us with the menus. We did stay and the food was nice however it felt like an awkward meal. The lunch menu is still advertised online and on the menus outside the restaurant.

Great food. Extremely tasty. Very good service and price. The baklava dessert is amazing. I've been here several times now and never had a bad meal or anything to moan about.

Without a doubt this is the best place to eat in Huddersfield- brilliant food, great atmosphere and wonderful staff. I get withdrawal symptoms if I don’t eat there at least once fortnight. Adele & Peter

Very tasty food this was our first visit here I had the chicken and bread dish excellent. Staff are dead friendly and funny, well worth a visit if your in the area and have a craving for some decent Turkish grub :)

This is my go to restaurant for my teams Christmas meal, second year we have been and the food has been amazing, great staff, great atmosphere warm and welcoming. We will most definitely be back December 24 God willing!

I would highly recommend this restaurant. First time visiting and it was amazing, I will definitely be going back. We went for our works Christmas party. The food was excellent. We had the the Ephesus special, hot starter and main. The food was delicious. The staff were attentive and friendly. I've lived in Turkey for 5 years and I can happily say this was authentic, traditional, quality food and service. 😁

The food here is tasty with good portion sizes, unfortunately the staff tried to clear the table while we were still eating and I had to ask them 3 times to leave a plate I was still eating from. When I asked for the bill one of the waiters cheered, raised both arms in the air and said- Yey we can go home now, it was 9:30 on a Saturday night. The staff weren’t unfriendly but we definitely didn’t feel welcome.

What can I say the food was great, me and my partner loved it! There was a great vibe from the place. The younger staff weren’t as attentive but the older staff knew what they were doing. Brilliant

As usual, an excellent time here. The food can't be faulted. The service was amazing, we were a large group and everyone was served promptly, waiting staff were extremely speedy when anyone asked for a drink. All the courses came out at the same time, we were all impressed. Great atmosphere, very chilled and relaxing. Highly recommended.

We had our work Christmas Dinner here. The food was tasty. The cocktail I had was lovely. Had the hummus starter but that could maybe have done with a bit more bread? The vegetarian fajitas were good but again maybe wanted another tortilla wrap to use up more of the veggies?

Dropped in for a quick meal before catching a train. I said I had little time and the service was really quick, friendly and efficient. And the beef stifado was really excellent. Highly recommended!

First time visiting, won't be the last. Food was delicious, delivered timely and not over facing. The service was quick and the staff were charming. There was a birthday party ongoing when we visited, lively without being raucous. Would highly recommend this Huddersfield Gem!

We booked the bottomless brunch and service was absolutely shocking. Had to go up to the bar a number of times to order our own drinks just seemed like the staff were avoiding us, not like any other brunch I had been to before. Staff were quite rude on one particular occasion when I went to the bar I was stood there for around 5 mins waiting to be served while staff were just breaking boxes, avoiding eye contact. Would definitely not recommend the brunch there are so many others out there that are much better.

Lovely service, the meat eaters food in our party had a great meal, not so good for the vegi in terms of main course. In fairness to restaurant they did refund that meal which was really kind of them. We didn't complain, they just noticed that lots of the veg food was left and asked why. I would def go back again

My friend and I had a lovely meal here tonight. The 3 course meal is good value and good quality. We had more than enough for the two of us. Staff are extremely friendly and funny. We had a lovely night and will visit again soon

Unfortunately not the best experience. We booked bottomless brunch but they had no booking. Was told no conformation no option. My friend booked on the phone and was not asked for email to confirm. It states for bottomless brunch must call to book. No apology but said they would accommodate us. Fairly quick to take drinks but ther were so warm when they arrived had ro ask for ice. Had to ask for then to take food order. No pizza or pasta at 4pm. Only veg option was a veg kebab. Basically oily veg on a plate. Friends food cold. Main did not arrive until after the 90 min brunch was over. Service very slow. Was not busy and only 5 of us. Service lacked effort and manager was extremely rude when challenged with the poor service. Gentleman to be fair willing to look for resolution but was too little too late. Long wates, warm drinks and rude staff. My friend who recommended says she's been loads and always good. Hopefully just unlucky.

It was my first time with Turkish cuisine and I'm loving it. This restaurant has wonderful welcoming staff and if it's been local or would have definitely been my local restaurant to impress friends and family. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food and service with a smile. Authentic Greek/Turkish cuisine beautifully presented. Couldn't decide what to eat so went for the mixed grill, a little of everything. All I can say is wear an elastic waist as you won't be disappointed. Will definitely be back. Thanks for a great experience. Martin's on tour. Absolutely gorgeous food, brilliant service and a lovely atmosphere. I had the vegetable fajitas and the orange chocolate cake and it was absolutely beautiful. Loads of choice for vegetarians as well as meat eaters. 3 of us had starters too and shared wine and soft drinks and it came to just over £100. We ate at 7pm and there were mostly couples and family groups some with children under 16. Wasn't too noisy, nobody was racuos in their behaviour and we felt very well looked after.

Great service and on my visit nice atmosphere 👍 safe too 👍 simple food, all good 👍 enjoy, I did !

The food is always good and the male staff are usually friendly, but the young lady, probably new, should learn how to talk to customers.

We went on a Saturday and the restaurant was about half full. We ordered the special 3 course meal for two. The meal was absolutely gorgeous, the service was great and the prices were reasonable. This was our first visit and we will definitely go back soon.

Lovely traditional Turkish meal. Really chilled and easy service and great with the kids and our twins. First time visit but will definitely visit again.

The service wasn't pretty welcoming. The waiters could have been a little more friendly in attitude towards the guests. I tried King Chilly Prawns for the starters and Chicken Marmaris for the main course , and the main course recommended. The food was decently delicious, but the service was disappointing.

Love this restaurant. My son was visiting from abroad, and the first place he wanted to go was Ephesus . We can't recommend it enough.

Delicious food and reasonably priced. I had asked extra salad in place of rice or chips with my main meal, it arrived with chips but this was very quickly rectified and I was brought a large plate of delicious salad with a really lovely dressing. It is simple but delicious and very authentic. The only negative was that we felt a little rushed, waitress asked a couple of times if she could take our plates while we were still eating.

Above average restaurant, wide variety of options to choose from on the menu , starter was a small portion(with only 3 meatballs ) but tasted good , the main course was nice , went for the fajitas , better sized portion and of good quality although I have had nicer fajitas elsewhere.Service was very good and the staff were attentive , Atmosphere of the restaurant is also pleasant overall I would rate the restaurant 4/5

Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Huddersfield. Me and my girlfriend have been many times over the years and I've never Ince come away and had anything negative to say. We had the mixed hot meze sharing platter for 2 people to start and It was absolutley gorgeous! Then I had the chicken marmaris and my girlfriend had the lamb guvec. They both came out on this ceramic skillet bowls so whilst you was eating it, the sauce was still bubbling away meaning jt was always nice and hot! I had the caramel cheesecake and it was honestly, the best cheese cake I've ever had. My girlfriend chose the home made baklava and it was perfect! The staff are some.of.the nicest people ever, always making sure you gave everything you need, asking if you want any more drinks and always up for a little chat. If your looking for somewhere to go whether it be for a special occasion, date night or just for something to eat. THe Ephesus Is the place to go!

Extremely disappointing. The food was enjoyable but the customer service was appalling! On arrival had to walk through an entrance of cigarette smoke, which turned out to be one of the staff smoking there! We were shown to a table but asked to be moved to another one in the corner (nobody else in the restaurant) as didn’t want to be in the middle of the room. This seemed to be an inconvenience. Weren’t asked if we wanted a drink, and had to summon someone to request a drink. Whilst still eating the starter the main course was brought…unbelievable! Not once were we asked if the food was ok, and the moment we finished eating the main course the dishes were removed. We weren’t asked if we wanted a dessert or more drinks. Rushed and inconsiderate service. It was a totally different experience when I visited a few days earlier with a family party. Different staff, nothing was too much trouble and staff interacted so well with the children. Very hard to recommend when you have totally different experiences

Amazing meal here tonight, just come back from a week in Rhodes and it has to be said the food here was even better. Great staff, really tasty, authentic Turkish and Greek food in my home town. If ever you’re in Huddersfield get yourself down here pronto, you won’t be disappointed

Amazing restaurant, superb food with excellent friendly service! This place is as good as being transported to either Turkey or Greece. An amazing blend of two cultures.

The restaurant is relaxed and friendly. Three of us came for a family dinner before a concert, ordered different dishes, and everyone enjoyed a great meal. Good grills, tasty sauces and side dishes, everything eaten. My first ever visit to Huddersfield but that was a good start. And just over the road, you can take a selfie with the statue of Harold Wilson, who if you’re old enough (like me) you remember as Prime Minister, before dodging the fountains and admiring the preposterous facade of Huddersfield Railway Station.

Came for a bottomless brunch the food was nice but the customer service was shocking 90 minutes of unlimited drinks and we was waiting 20 mins for a drink 2 staff on the floor and deliberately went out there way to avoid coming to take our drink order I don’t think they get the concept of a brunch disappointing as we was out for a birthday meal too…. Stick to ya dining and not brunches !!

This was one of our favourite restaurants and have been coming ever since it opened and had many family meals here but last night I don’t know what went wrong but the food and service was not good .mojito we sent back as it just tasted like a glass of flat lemonade dreadful,starters were ok but the mains were not good grandson could not eat his steak was tough and overcooked lamb chops not up to scratch as were the rest of the mains as it was my daughters birthday and we really like the staff we did not make a fuss and we paid the bill but we will not be visiting again sorry

Don’t bother wasting your money. The service is horrendous with rude staff that you have to basically beg to take your order and the food if you manage to get any is very overpriced and extremely bland. Save your money and go to McDonald’s. You will have a much better experience.

Small restaurant very close to the railway station so great parking. The food was well presented and tasty Great friendly staff will definitely visit again soon a true hidden gem.

Worst restaurant I have ever attempted to eat at. A special evening absolutely Ruined for us. The customer service is non existent, no manners or care if you are having a good experience or not. We were in the restaurant over an hour and a half and managed to get 1 drink and a starter each. We had to ask twice after arriving if we could order a drink and eventually got one plonked in front of us half an hour later. The starter was ok but then waited 45 minutes after this before asking for the bill for what we had had because we weren’t prepared to wait any longer for our food. No apology, the waiter then (with the fastest service we had received all night) brought the bill of £33 which was fine. He then brought the card machine over and tried to charge us £135 just hoping we would not check I guess because he argued when we questioned it. Even if he had charged us for the full meal we had ordered it would have been £76 so was well over charging us anyway. We were then made to feel like dirt for not accepting the horrendous service and poor manners. If you can’t handle being busy then don’t take the bookings. Would never even attempt visiting again. I would have had a better experience in McDonald’s there food is much better than the starter we got and at least their staff have manners. Steer clear if your a couple, they tend to only serve the large groups

Quite a nice Turkish restaurant. The interior doesn't hit much as Turkish except for some paintings with Turkish landmarks and such. I ordered Turkish 'cacik' (read as /jajik/) and chicken iskender. Even though I didn't order any drink, I was offered a glass of water with ice and a slice of lemon. Cacik was really nice with that Turkish bread and some kinda sauce which was absolutely amazing. As for the 'iskender' I was expecting something really special, but somehow I didn't get the wow-effect. Served with 'bulgur' it was a completely different way of serving it. Usually it is served on a metal oval-shaped plate, the half of it is filled with yoghurt and the other half with meat and bread, and a cherry-on-top is melted butter on that meat'n'bread thing. That actually was the least I was expecting. Anyhow, it was good and on the whole I enjoyed the meals.

All the reviews here are fake. The restaurant is always empty, that should explain it's quality. The food is really expensive compared to any Turkish restaurant across UK. The food was mediocre and the red sauce given along with our mean had a weird bad smell and taste. There were flies in everywhere and the dishes were not even clean. And the worst of all was the service. The waiter took my friends plate without asking and in the end when we asked for check, he went inside the bar but seems to have forgotten about us and was on his phone for the entire time until we had to go to the bar and call him again. Worst experience ever in any Turkish restaurant

Bottomless Brunch was great. Food was Delicious. Shame for a table of 20 had only one member of staff taking drinks being quite slow leading to the owner handing out several bottles of prosecco to make up for it(which was great) but an extra member of staff could of solved the problem. Will definitely go again though.

I brought my dad here for a Father's Day lunch. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was very nice, good sized portions. Would definitely visit again. To start we had the meatballs and calamari, and we both chose the mixed grill/kebabs...

I ordered the mixed platter and cold/hot starters. The food was amazing, they know what they're doing when cooking the meat in particular. The service was great apart from rather long wait to order the food but other then that I can't find any faults. The server was great though. He made sure we had everything we needed, gave us refills on our drinks and recommended some great starters. The restaurant has nice vintage and Mediterranean atmosphere. Will definitely visit again whenever I'm back in Huddersfield.

They where very kind to accommodate us on short notice, The staff was absolutely delightful, the food was absolutely delicious, if I have one small point of criticism it's that their portions compared to other establishments are a bit on the smaller side, other wise , it was a great experience.

Great place for authentic Turkish food. The iskender kebab is just like the ones you have in Istanbul. Portion sizes are great, and you can have a decent 3 course meal for under £30 a head.
