My pint was nice here - they had one on gluten free that was appreciated. Felt very local, all the staff seemed to know the people there and it had a very living room feel about it. There were some kids sound checking for what seemed like forever which I thought was strange because it was already 7.30.

Our favourite place in Exeter. Very well run by a knowledgeable owner. Would visit Exeter again just for this place!

Not quite as good as when it was in the Beer Cellar, but still head and shoulders above anything else Exeter has to offer

The only place I know where you can eat a takeaway from elsewhere! Always a fantastic range of beers spanning the funky, fruity and weird. And a GF offering, which is very welcome. Top shelf tasty tipples always an option, too. You never know what a night at LDOP might bring - I’ve had quiet ones, crazy quizzes, mad pirate singalongs, terrifying open mics, drunken pool tourneys, super-flirty dance-offs and life-affirming new-mate-bonding times. Defo a night to enjoy with any sort of people - because they’re all always welcome!

Great pub in the centre of Exeter with an interesting (if expensive) range of beer. Dog friendly

Good tap house, with changing selection of craft ales, lagers and ciders, served by knowledgeable bar staff. A little grubby and basic, but it's a pub. If you're looking for a trendy bistro style it's not for you.

Cool pub with lots of beer choices including gluten free. Free pool table but we couldn't play as it was a comedy night we didn't know about. Stayed for the first couple of comedy acts and left as it was awful lol Would come back but not for comedy night!

Good selection of ales but pub itself could do with deep cleaning, dust covered pictures and pool table needs recovering. Comfortable seating throughout but a table or two at window would be nice. Would return to sample the more exotic ales.

We found this absolute jem while on a visit to Exeter and can't possibly rate it highly enough. Really good atmosphere and designed to ensure you feel totally comfortable, like you are chilling at a mates house; and nothing is too much trouble. Might not be for you if you want a load of glamour but it's a great spot if you want to just be you and have fun.

A quiet and chill little bar bulit for those who like to talk, chill and play games. Found the whole place inviting and socailable. The bar staff were great laugh and really accommodating.

Quirky little cocktail bar, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great pub, amazing beer selection and they all come in the branded glass!! Free pool and board games. Super chilled out atmosphere a really lovely place to hang out. You can also get three 1/3rd pints for the same price as a whole pint if you want to try several beers which I really like.

Really enjoyed my trip here on Saturday. Lots of different seating areas, really friendly gentleman behind the bar - who clearly cares about being welcoming. An amazing selection of board games - I even spotted a games console and we loved the pool table. An astounding drinks selection - will definitely visit again when in the area.

An eye-watering selection of craft ale, cider, wine, and more - with lovely bartenders, a relaxed atmosphere, and located right on Fore Street - this pub makes a great spot for an evening tipple. Most of the craft ales are of course high ABV, so you'll be on half pints, but you'll be grateful for it. Complete with a pool table and a selection of board games, should that tickle your table-top fancy, pay a visit to the pub that's one-of-a-kind in Exeter. Dogs are welcome - encouraged, in fact

They've done a lot of work on the place and it looks great! There's now cozy areas to sit, which seems welcoming and now personal. There's a great selection of board games and selection of drinks was great. Good to see all the (many) taps in action! I'll definitely be back again soon for a game of ticket to ride with some great craft beer. 👍

Have been here a few times over some months and I think they are making continual little changes and it's shaping up to be a favourite in Exeter. Range of drinks and prices has improved as has the atmosphere and games/books etc.

Small cosy and v popular craft beer bar. Simple bar food (?cold) e.g. Pork 🥧 which I've not tried. Reasi able selection of wines and some cider too for good measure.

A truly marvelous selection of beers to choose from and very friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Whilst I was not there on a Thursday evening I see that the run a games night then which I will endeavour to go to. Beer served in 2/3 pints which I find slightly strange but no matter. I liked it.

The same team as The Beer Cellar 100 metres up the road, this still feels very much a work in progress. It does often feel too large a venue with only a few customers rattling around (the complete opposite of The Beer Cellar!). Hopefully word of mouth will ensure increased foot-fall. The range of keg craft ales is immense - a little pricey, but some are rare brews. Our last few visits have seen a poor selection of real ales (despite the large number of hand pulls) with a few having to be returned due to them clearly being "off". All credit to the bar staff happily doing so without quibble. Fingers crossed the place soon finds its feet and becomes a 'must go' venue like it's little brother up the road.

Hadn't been before. Decor was cheap and cheerful and the place wasn't very busy for a Saturday night. Beer was pretty good, if a little pricey, but you expect that in a craft beer bar. To be fair though, they let you try before you bought. Got busier later on, and would go again.

God pub. Mix of the new and the old. There selection of beers is INCREDIBLE. A number of lagers, especially their Belgian offerings are excellent. Occasionally do have live music. Currently do not have a food menu which for me is big down point (however they have menus from the local Pizza spot a couple doors down) Advice for the management - decide what kind of pub you want to be. Considering the quality of the beer you probably should be more busy!

Love it here what a great bar!! Great drink selection, I love the 3 gin tasters too. Free pool for customers and friendly bar staff and nice decor. Tons of space too, large venue with lots of tables. One of our favourite locals.

Lovely bar to have a relaxing drink or two and a game of pool. Great range of beers for hubby (probably biggest range of beers on tap in the South East) and good choice of gins!
