Little Creatures in Camden

We wanted somewhere to watch the England Euro semi-final football, drink and eat and were directed to this gem. They had plenty of screens for the match and a great selection of appropriate food and the was excellent beer. Service given how busy they were was speedy and whilst we didn't want to eat too much the load fries we excellent as were the Buffalo Cauliflower Bites. Bar staff excellent and knew how to do their job.

Babel Beerhouse proved to be an excellent choice for our group get together. The combination of a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere, top-notch service, and high-quality drinks made it a standout venue. I would highly recommend Babel Beerhouse for anyone looking for a casual get-together, or simply to enjoy a great evening out. I look forward to returning soon!

I made it to Babel Beerhouse following various recommendations from friends. It is a great, bustling, spacious bar, restaurant and co-working venue, situated in a really awesome location near Kings Cross / St Pancres station. The food arrived in record timing and it was presented perfectly and tasted amazing (I had the vegan burger, chips, hummous and pita and my business associate had the amazing calamari, Caesar Salad and delicious olives!). The staff were super friendly although they were obviously stretched as it got busy. I will definitely go back there and you should too

Myself and my husband came here for bottomless brunch with our little dog. So impressed with the service, Matt is a credit to the place, so friendly and attentive. Food was delicious, drinks amazing. And a lovely interior, huge but still cosy. Will definitely return.

We went with friends for a pre-booked lunch birthday celebration. I stress it was ‘pre-booked’, because that would have given the venue the chance to contact us beforehand to explain that they had no cooking facilities and could not provide food!! On arrival, we were absolutely NOT greeted. We were not advised of the issues with food. In fact, staff seemed to be studiously disinterested! I have never had a worse ‘greeting’ at an establishment which purports to cater for guests! We, a group of four, were seriously trying to identify who were staff, as nobody was asking if they could help. One gentleman even walked straight past us to the desk at the entrance. When we asked if he worked there, his expression and attitude was positively murderous! The venue offers sports coverage…a nd yet the TV screens were blank, even though a Premier League match was in progress. When we asked about food, a manager was summoned. She said the gas was off but might be back on. There was little apology! Long story short, the drinks were overpriced, we felt unwelcome and we went elsewhere. Lit

I will forever rave about this place 😋 Amazing selection of drinks from cocktails to beer that they brew as we speak 🍻 The staff is so fun and friendly and the food is delish 🤤 The location is perfect, literally 5 mins from the tube and right in the centre! We called in here for a beer and a bit of lunch whilst we we doing the Regent's Canal walk from Limehouse to Little Venice. Superb selection of beers and delicious food. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a long lunch with flights of beers and a selection of small plates. We sat outside and watched the world go by. Definitely recommend a less than 5 mins detour off the canal path for walkers in need of refreshment!

Half-decent beers is the only good thing you can say about this place. Went to order food to be told the kitchen was closed for 10-15 minutes. You're busy, fair enough. Told 10 minutes later it was still closed for 10 minutes. My friend then manages to order – but when I try a minute later, I'm told the kitchen is still closed for half an hour! Am I'm just supposed to sit there like a lemon and watch my friend eat? It's not difficult to communicate to the handful of staff on the floor whether the kitchen is closed or not. Two staff members were somewhat helpful, the rest seemed completely disinterested. Businesses like this rarely stay around for long. We can only hope once it closes it will be replaced with a business staffed with people that actually talk to each other and understand how to treat its customers.

Great to find somewhere to sit down but the food very disappointing. Vegan pizza for £10 very lightweight and lukewarm. £4.50 for the tiniest bowl of chips you can imagine. We actually laughed.

No burgers or chicken wings. Poor show. Why can’t you get your act together? Could have gone and bought some beef patties from Waitrose. If I had known in advance I would not have attended. Good beer though.

Went as a group. but the food was barely food in itself. The pizza was unbelievably chewy and tasted awful. The burgers were essentially hockey pucks.

Beer and location is good. Food is terrible; nachos stale and with what tasted like pizza sauce instead of salsa, pizza’s pretty much inedible.

We went in here for food and drink whilst waiting for our train. The staff were really friendly, there was a vast food and drink menu and all our food was delicious. Maybe we went on a bad night for the kitchen . Many items on the menu weren't available , Fries !!!!, Chicken Parmi and Cauliflower bites to name a few. The Little Creatures Pale Ale tasted pretty authentic and good but the food options spoilt the evening. The table ordering App is glitchy and didn't work - staff advised that this is not uncommon. I think I may have paid £1 to a so called Mr Yum for no particular reason .

Came here as a group of 4, having booked a table for dinner at 8.00pm. No table service, you have to order via an app, fair enough. Slick. Ahh, but there's no mobile signal on EE or O2. Fair enough, so went to bar to order food around 8.15pm to be told there's no food - kitchen aren't taking on more orders for half an hour. Never mind, it's Thursday, it's busy, we got some complimentary crisps to keep us going. Hurrah, the kitchen has reopened. But not selling ANY burgers. OK, pizza it is then - singularly the worst I have had in my life. If I wasn't so hungry I'd have sent it back - Chicken and bacon, allegedly although with no tomato base or cheese it seems. Most of the staff were really friendly and apologetic, and I know the hospitality industry is struggling to find/retain staff, but I won't be coming back here for food. On the drinks front, a cracking range of beers and a nice vibe to the place so if you're looking for somewhere for drinks, give it a go...just make sure you've eaten first.
