Little Connies Kitchen in Newcastle upon Tyne

The full English was one bacon, hash brown, black pudding, egg, sausage, toast and some chopped tinned tomatoes and tasted nice and cost £6.00. Sadly it took thirty minutes to turn up. The service just took too long and the cook/server seemed to have gravy stains on her jumper. The staff were happily chatting in the kitchen during the half hour wait. Ending on the positives, the cafe and toilet were clean and tidy and the food was okay.

Called in today, 2nd time in a few months. Lovely friendly staff, good variety menu and nice coffee. Yes, there’s a short wait on the food but it’s worth it because it’s fresh, hot as it should be. 5* all round! Thank you x

WOW what a hidden gem of Newcastle, from the service to food all faultless. The portions are great, food devine, and the service was a delight too. First time I've been, and certainly won't be the last. If you haven't been, run!

Hi no milkshake delivered, burnt bacon, the chips look the best out of everything. For the price you pay you expect better quality. Xx

the lasagne was hard and really dry

Both jacket potatoes where stone cold and thrown in the bin. the delivery was quick so it’s left the shop like that. for the price you would except better.

Some of my food was lovely. The eggs Benedict were terrible no hollandaise sauce on so just muffin bacon poached egg had to put sauce on it to eat it. For the price you pay it’s a shame.

The portion size was spot on, the chips were spot on. The lasagna was dry though, gutted as it’s normally super nice.

It's usually good here but we ordered an egg sandwich and you've sent the salad, crisps and coleslaw without the sandwich....

Polite driver. Unfortunately my order wasn’t right. 1st of all the driver apologised before I even saw it, he said it was handed to him in an unsealed flap type container with food spilling out, no bag. I ordered 1 jacket potato with cheese, one £5 side salad (Lettuce base, tomato, cucumber, red onions, peppers and a boiled egg asked for no tomato) and coleslaw. Only got cold potato with cheese and salad leaves, tomato(?)bits of cucumber and coleslaw all in the same container, rest salad missing

Sausages were the texture of a savaloy sausage and very pale didn’t look cooked and the hash browns were all soggy very disappointed

Have had good orders from here in the past but this time was bad, pancakes were so dense and barely had any syrup on them. Avocado toast was soggy and unpleasant. Ended up throwing most of everything away, shame.

Fast delivery and delicious food. I don’t normally really like chilli con carne so not sure why I ordered it but it was amazing! With rice and chips. The chips were perfect. Pie was really good too. Great food

The food was lovely, the only thing I could see was maybe some syrup for my pancakes as they were lovely but with sausage & bacon abit dry. Xx

Sundays lunch take out very nice but a bit expensive

Been here a few times with my daughter. It's so friendly the staff owner are so helpful nothing is too much trouble.The food was lovely and so reasonably priced. It is a must to go and enjoy a beautiful cooked meal at these prices thank you 😊

Lovely food, friendly staff and comfortable surroundings. We had the ploughman's toastie and the lasagne, both with homemade chips. Everything was freshly cooked to order and absolutely delicious.

I was waiting in the cafe for 15 minutes for 1 bacon and egg bap and everything is microwaved and the bacon is barely even cooked. EDIT TO RESPOND: You were not busy, 2 tables out of the whole place were taken and they had mostly been served before I walked in. One of which you served incorrectly, bringing over his hash brown that was given to someone else a good 5 minutes after he had started. Even if it were super busy, which it wasn't, there's still no excuse for serving bacon like that. And a microwave is supposed to make things faster.

Delicious and delivered with a smile as always, However panini was a bit disappointing as there was no crisps or slaw as advertised (I was looking forward to the slaw)

All fantastic. Great friendly service. Thank Corned beef pie was lovely, chips best ever. Sad that they had ran out of school cake, but the replacement was nice. Def recommend when you’re in the mood for great, well cooked comfort food.

Lovely food, I’m my 9 year olds words the best hash browns they’ve ever had! Slightly late but apologies were and by the polite friendly delivery driver. Loved the fact the veggie and none veggie foods were packed separately a absolutely fantastic touch. Would definitely order again

Food was freezing cold and had additional salad that I did not want on. Even my 2 year old nephew didn’t eat it. Also coleslaw was open and all over in the bag. Absolute mess

Delivery driver was very nice and helped me get inside.

Burger was burnt, didn’t get coleslaw with either burgers and paid for a hot chocolate which was £3 and it was tiny. Nothing creamy about it was watery. The chips were decent.

I ordered the Large English Breakfast, which claims 2 Sausage Patties, and Black Pudding. The Black Pudding was non-existent and the 2 Sausage Patties was 1 Sausage cut in half. The Hot Chocolate was near cold.

Sorry but the American breakfast wasn’t good at all, sausage was all in bits, only one whole, bacon was cold and undercooked, pancakes were cold and soggy underneath and there was no maple syrup at all. Ordered triple Choc brownie and received wispa gold, really dry. I had good expectations for this place. Sorry won’t be ordering again. Also food was late

Really nice dinners but would expect more meat for the price rather than just two slices. Also put peas on dinner when note said not to. Overall really nice.

Absolutely phenomenal service, the coleslaw was the best ive had from a takeaway - fantastic portion sizes for the price and really good home comfort food. This place came very highly recommended but due to working hours I cannot visit directly and its great to see that even with delivery you receive the delicious food as advertised. Very happy to recommend this to future consumers and friends.

Food was disgusting! And what u get for the price is not right and not just that I ordered chicken nuggets chips and peas for my 2 year old daughter and nuggets weren’t hardly cooked properly and the peas and chips were all soggy and the rest of the food was undercooked and rotten I won’t not recommend this place they haven’t even got a Hygiene person out yet 🚫(AVIOD THIS PLACE)🚫

Spot on food, lovely staff and early delivery! Dairy free options, everything cooked to perfection and an absolutely mouthwatering breakfast. Totally recommend these, they're brilliant!
