Little Aladdin in Manchester

Great little place! Found this place by accident but it was an amazing find. Great welcome, good food and good prices. I'll visit again next time I'm in Manchester.

When I worked in Manchester I ate here at least twice a week. I never had a bad meal. Whenever I'm in Manchester I make a point of going back, taking my non-vegan friends with me. They've always been impressed. Recommended.

Lovely home style food and good choice for a street corner cafe. Will be returning and happy to recommend. I had a three curry on rice plate - nice basmati rice topped with dhal, chana and sebzi curries. My partner had samosa chat with all the trimmings. Both places were great value and tasty 😋

Kebab was nice but not what I'd usually expect from a doner kebab. If you're looking for something greasy and comfort food it's not really right, but it's a nice dish, the "kebab meat" is tofu/soy I think (judging from taste). Portion sizes are large which is nice, couldn't finish it all! There's some seating in the cafe as well.

Great food but it made me and my friend very ill. We had some onion bhajis and were both very ill the next day Edit - I wonder if it was the Raita on top - do you refrigerate this sauce?

Got the 3 curry and rice deal. Fantastic. Very cooking and really tasty. Great service too

This place used to be great but recently the portion sizes have shrunk and it's no longer value for money. I'm pretty sure the onion bahjee wrap used to be in a naan but now it's in a shop-bought tortilla. No salad or dip starters either.

Delicious and affordable vegan food. So many options! I had the aubergine wrap snd and a samosa which was light, crispy and fresh.

For price and quality, I don’t think I’ve had a better meal since going vegan. I need to come back and try more, couldn’t recommend it enough if you’re travelling

Hungry after walking sightseeing,found tis little shop name Little Aladdin, serves Vegan foods like wrap, Nans, Briyani, Kebab, Burgers, samosas, Falafel, tofu based, mock meats plant based.. For fast and cheaper options Can try Special Green plate (basmati rice) with 3 curries.. Vegan Kebab Beef Donner is spicy wrap with tonnes of chili oil(great taste).. Overall good experience of Vegan Kebab😁👍

Quick, tasty (relatively healthy) vegan food! Can't really go wrong. Tofu wrap is my go to.

Absolutely lovely food and great value for money. You can those three curries with rice for £7.99 and you get a great portion size and they have a great selection of curries to choose from. Whether you are vegan, vegetarian, or a meat eater you need to come here, you won’t be disappointed!! The perfect lunch ◡̈

Incredible veggie food in Manchester

Nowhere better in MCR for quick and cheap eat. Rice and 3 is £7.99, always delicious. Lots of mock meat/falafel wraps as well as curries. You won't regret visiting

Popped in on the offchance whilst in Manchester, and was pleasantly surpised at the 100% vegan place! Generous servings, piping hot and at a price which is certainly competitive, (2 hot onion bharjis and two large aubergine fritters (freshly cooked) and lashings of spicy sauce to take out, for £5!!) It was a refreshing change from most vegan sellers prices! Been a vegan for 40 years, and I won't eat "vegan options" from non vegan places, so this was a blessing! After the meal, I was totally satisfied and full up! Can't recommend it enough! Especially if you are a fussy vegan, like myself! Cheers for being there "Little Aladdin".

It's a little corner caff in the centre of Manchester serving exclusively vegan, South-Asian food. Delicious and cheap, fantastic value and quality. My go-to when I'm in town and need feeding. Canteen-style, rice & 3 curries for about 8 quid, with about 6 to choose from. Class. 😘👌🏾

Great little vegan cafe near the Arndale. Food is great and the portions huge making it terrific value for money. The onion bahjis are the best I've ever had. Will be my go to place whenever I'm in Manchester from now on.

Had a delicious falafel wrap and fries from here, we tried mango and garlic sauce, both were really tasty😎 the gentleman who served us was very helpful, great value for money too, we will be returning!

Great little find. A really great place to come and get some super tasty food on a night out. I had the chick’n tikka in a naan bread with mango chutney and it was really tasty! The staff are super friendly and nice too. I’ll be back! Great place for vegans! You must try the samosas too! 😍

I wanted to try something that wasn't a big chain store off the beaten track, and this was definitely it , so close to Arndale shopping centre, it was pretty quiet at half one on a Monday afternoon. I sat in and the guy suggested what was best. I had the vegan chicken doner wrap and it was amazing, it was juicy and tasty. I asked for half to be wrapped for me cause it was so stuffed. Definitely get your money's worth and absolutely gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

I come here allllll the time!! It's the best food I've had in Manchester! Full of flavour, everything is nice. The rice and 3 curries is always soooo good, and such good value for money! So tasty, fresh big portions. I am about 6 beers deep into the night, and I've just come back from the pub with the vegan doner and chips, loaded with salad and sauce and it was divine. At only 7.50 too. A big portion. Totally recommend.

My go to place to eat in town! Delicious and very affordable

Extremely tasty kebabs - we recommend the (vegan) chicken donner and the seekh kebabs. Chips with vegan cheese were also excellent. Fast and friendly service, lovely atmosphere, and attentive staff. Enjoyed it so much we stayed for a lovely tea and a brownie. Perfect for a quick stop at Manchester Piccadilly and a bargain.

Popped in here on our food crawl throughout the city, wicked menu, brilliant prices and food was super super tasty. The fact this is all vegan makes it a 10/10 in my eyes. 💯 service could be served with a bit of a smile 😉 but we had the samosa chaat & it was delish 👌🏼 would come back for more food.

Don’t like to complain but it was really oily. Barely ate any of it as it was swimming in oil. Delivery was quick though.

Just stumbled upon this place. Stopped in for a vegan kebab, good sized portion and tasted great. Got to choose my own salad, value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Very nice food. But not quite as flavourful or as good value for money as other local places like “this and that” which offer bigger portions for cheaper. Worth a try though

A great, inexpensive vegan place in a very central area in Manchester. Falafels are simply delicious, the wraps are filling and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Awesome for a quick bite, also fantastic for sitting in and enjoying your food!

Wonderful little vegan place all the food is reasonably priced and very tasty. Staff are lovely and friendly. We had the chana masala one with peshwari naan and the other garlic naan the bread was really nice. I would definitely recommend this place if you go to Manchester.

Delicious variety of vegan foods, absolutely wonderful stuff, and you don't pay a huge premium for it. It's a small place but the staff are lovely, and the place has a very cosy feel to it. Good long opening hours, and somewhere I like to visit whenever I'm out for comedy shows, heavily recommended.

Unpretentious little gem with a lovely server when I went (Aug 2023). She was helpful, friendly and greeted me with a genuine smile! Best of all - the food was delicious and generously portioned. More like a cafe than a restaurant - and perfect that way.

I'm a regular at this establishment and I love all the vegan options, especially the kebabs and the burgers as well as the curries and they're not too expensive either, unlike other restaurants that serve similar foods. A true Northern Quarter gem. Lovely staff. Always welcoming and you can have a good conversation as well. Keep up the great work!

Lovely little rice and three joint with a rotating selection of wholesome vegan options. Also does absolutely amazing onion bhajis.

Stumbled in for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. Had the 3 curry and rice for £7.50, 2 bhajis and a plain naan. Service was great, super friendly and explained what was on offer. Chanla masala, Bombay potato, vegetable curry. Good portion size for the price, could just do with a little more flavour. Bhajis were great, though a small piece of uncooked batter wasn't very nice! Food was cheap but below average quality. It wasn't even hot. There was no tadka on Dal tadka. I guess, only USP of this place is low price.

I go here often, I love the food and the restaurant. The owner is so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent, it’s so nice to have spicy well cooked vegan food that is affordable. It’s probably my favourite place to eat in Manchester

Home style cooked food good value decent portions

Bland food. Would have been 2 stars if it wasn’t for the Bhaji & Samosa being so good - the only flavoursome food in our order. We were also missing an item, but the restaurant didn’t answer when we tried to call.

We really liked the food. It was simple, full of flavours just the way we cook in our homes. Lots of options in curries. What impressed me most was the simplicity and flavours that were maintained in the food without adding unnecessary ghee/oil/butter/food colours

The best 3 on rice in Manchester. We go here at least once a week without fail for a delicious vegan meal. Ali, the owner, is so welcoming and kind; our trip to Little Aladdin is always the highlight of our week!

Had a fabulous vegan kebab here - it’s pretty rare to get Vegan kebabs anywhere however they absolutely nailed it here! Would definitely come again. The menu has so many choices, I’m not sure what to choose next time! Super tasty though, plenty of filling and a naan bread surrounds the kebab instead of a pitta - mucccchhh better!

the food here is affordable and the workers are really kind. We could choose from a selection of vegan curries and it was delicious. My only critique is that they were microwaved rather than kept warm, but it's not a big deal given the price. I really recommend for everyone to come to this restaurant

The quality is far better than any other indian/Pakistani restaurant in and around city centre. The taste is good so you don't mind always eating food from same restaurant. I will definitely recommend it. Moreover being vegan I have peace of mind that my food will be pure vegetarian.

Choice of three curries on a plate of rice for under 7 quid, plus an onion bhaji, freshly cooked and piping hot with a drink for under a tenner! Sprinkle your own coriander too. Excellent value and very tasty.

Warm relaxed atmosphere, fast service and I had a lovely Falafel and salad wrap. Could do even more and offer some children's meals. Excellent 🏆

Went in for lunch after the rush, wanting something that wasn’t a chain, very happy with my decision. Falafel and Tofu wrap with all the veg was delicious, grabbed two GIANT onion Bajhis too. Very friendly and quick service. Great value for money.

Driver was polite and friendly The rice was well cooked huge portion for myself and my housemate.. The naan bread was lovely soft, tasty and filling........The Samosa were excellent nice soft, crisps, packed with lovely spices and flavours. The Only thing we didnt like was the Chapati which we found dry and lacking flavour. Also we didnt get any napkins. Overall Good.

Vegetarian/ Vegan only, a delight for vegetarians. Amazing vegetarian Indian food is available here. Owner Mr. Ali is very friendly. A must come place for vegetarians.
