One of the best Chinese takeaways I’ve ever had. The salt and pepper chicken was so crispy and full of flavor. Portion sizes were great, can’t wait to go back soon!

Quite honestly, the BEST Chinese that I have ever had. Seriously. I had read the reviews before ordering and was skeptical about the hype. Massively surprised at how good this place is and luckily it's only a few miles away. Although, you do pay a bit extra for the quality, which is fine by me. We will be back for more! **the curry sauce is outstanding**

In my opinion this is the best Chinese that is takeaway-only in Chester. I have probably tried them all. It follows in the footsteps of what the Sun Do used to be like. All ingredients are high quality and cooked fresh and always red hot. Somewhat on the outskirts of Chester it is worth the drive.

This is my go to Chinese takeaway! Definitely the best Chinese in Chester by a country mile, the food is amazing and the portions are a good size. Recommend ordering ahead on weekends as they get really busy!

I’m very critical of Chinese food, it’s my favourite and as I travel all over the country for work I try many different takeaways. I stumbled across LIPSS as I’m working in Chester for 4 weeks, and being honest it’s up there with the best. The beef chow mein I’ve just had is 10/10, the best I’ve ever had hands down. Unfortunately next week is my last week in the area and I think 135 miles each way is a bit far for a Chinese otherwise I’d be a regular. Keep up the good work guys, it’s been a pleasure.

First meal we have had from LIPSS Chinese, Huntington. Sweet and Sour Chicken and Sweet and Sour King Prawns and it was delicious. Will certainly be going there again.

After one of the dogs decided he would eat our dinner tonight with a turned back, we thought we'd go local ( all of a mile from Great Boughton to Huntington) and chose a ' Banquet for Two...... Well I am more annoyed with the Dog than I was earlier, because for 10p short of £30 we got the most underwhelming meal possible. Starters...OK 'Crispy Duck...erm not at all crispy, and with a sauce accompaniment that was congealed and pretty unattractive. Main courses of this "Banquet" a Sweet & Sour dish that was of a meat I didn't recognise, and another dish that was...leavable, perhaps I expected too much with the word " Banquet", but I wish I'd spent my hard earned £30 in any number of other places.

LIPS is one of the best Chinese takeaways that I have been to, if not the best, to date with a very friendly service. They have a good range on their menu and are quite accomodating for minor variations. At peak time and with COVID 19 restrictions it's best to message or call to book your order. You then get a slot and collection is very swift indeed. Food is crisp, hot and we'll packaged so it stays hot. Parking is on the side street and is limited, but not usually difficult. There are many accessed drives so need a little mutual respect of not blocking drives would go a long way. :-) Overall I believe this is a go to takeaway.

Freshly cooked tasty Chinese food at a very reasonable price. We had a good range of tasty and beautifully cooked food from here last weekend: * Lemon grass flavour chicken on skewers - these were succulent and a lovely flavour. * Crispy salt and pepper chicken strips - almost as good as the Old Summer Palace! Nice and crispy with some chilli pieces. * 1/4 Crispy duck and pancakes - (N.B. It’s worth buying the extra salad). * Sweet and sour chicken - very good value and tasty. * Beef in light sauce with stir fried broccoli - a healthier option! * Egg fried rice - this was full of rich yellow tasty egg and no soy sauce ( we ordered the large and it was HUGE - the small would have been enough due to the large amount of starters we ate!) My tip would be to get your food order in as early as possible (phone lines take orders from 5pm) because tonight when we ordered at 7pm there was a 2 hour wait on the food order for collection. Edit: Photos of food from another occasion: 1/4 crispy aromatic duck with pancakes & hoisin sauce, sticky BBQ ribs, small bag of prawn crackers and crispy salt and pepper chicken strips. All delicious!

Chinese/Malaysian food as it should be. I have travelled extensively throughout Asia and Lipss is up there with the best of them. The only downside I can see is they do not do deliveries. This is a shame as if they did I would most probably order on a regular basis especially during the winter months.
