Amazing food, tasty and well presented Staff was really nice , friendly and attentive, such a breath of fresh air! The main I had which was pork.and sage meatballs on a bed of parmesan polenta , with tomato sauce was absolutely delicious!! I can't wait to go back there , me and my friend were really hapy! Highly recommended!

One of the best meals I’ve had in ages! Absolutely delicious food, great staff, so friendly and welcoming. We visited on a Monday evening and it was packed! And now I understand why…. I chose the smoked haddock and leek macaroni, absolutely lip smackingly good! My husband went for the lasagne, again, one of the best he’s had in a long time. This was followed up with a knickerbocker glory and mine a key lime pie. Faultless… we are visiting the are and have booked to go again on our last night

On the hottest day of the year, it was such a relief to have a chilled dinner the lovely garden at The Lion and Unicorn. The service was really friendly and efficient, and the food was very good.

Had been there in the past so we thought we were going for a nice dinner. Unfortunately, the service was very slow, we had a booking for 7.30, the main course arrived at 9pm. The food was mediocre, not good quality and not well prepared. One fish dish was inedible. The waiting staff were very nice so it seems the problem is in the kitchen. Sadly disappointed and won’t be returning.

It’s been great in the past but the standard of service was poor & the food was very poor! 2 of the 4 daily specials were no longer available & we had to wait over an hour for our main courses (fish) which was overcooked & frankly quite tasteless. We were offered a discount on the bill but we won’t be going back there.

The Lion and Unicorn pub is incredible. Wonderful staff, location, food, drinks, service. Cannot fault them. It is always such a joy and a treat to eat and drink here, thank you.

I celebrated my birthday last week with friends and family at The Lion and Unicorn, in the beer garden. The beer garden is stunning and the food excellent.

This gastro pub is great for food and atmosphere. We had the market fish for 6 people with sides of vegetables and one person had desert all of which were served in a friendly and polite manner.

This pub is one of my favourite pubs in London. The interior is very cosy ,clean and relaxing seating areas and sofas.There is also a beautiful garden outside to sit down.Valery the bartender was so nice to me and he was a really nice member of staff like the others.

Went for an early evening meal. Welcoming and attentive staff. Adult meals were good but not exceptional (fish and chips; Lion burger). Children's meals were ok - portions a bit small; ordered chips but would have been nice to have some garnish with fresh vegetables/salad items to accompany their meal. No separate children's drinks menu. Unless children order ice cream the kids desserts are quite pricey. All in all a pleasant evening but found the food and drink to be quite expensive compared to other pubs.

Went drinks with friends & ended up staying for dinner, the food was awesome, and a great selection from, little nibbles to sharing plates and substantial dinners. The cocktails were so good, and everyone was happy with the beer & wine selection. Friendly warm atmosphere with everyone having a good time. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and the food came quickly. My new fav place.

The best Sunday Lunch I’ve had! Roast Beef perfectly cooked, veg and massive Yorkshire pud included topped off with lots of hot gravy.

The food is unreal in this place. The whole experience from start to finish was super we had a table close to the open fire which was extra nice on a chilly enough day out.

Have been here in the past for just drinks. Really beautiful pub with a roaring open fire and lovely decor. We had a fabulous Sunday lunch - I had the lamb with all the trimmings. Service was really friendly, informative and efficient. A good selection of dishes (outside of the Sunday roast options) including vegan/vegetarian. The pub also has a nice rear garden and some chairs and tables out front which will be perfect in warmer weather. I would recommend 100%!

Great for gluten free as always. In our family we have four coeliacs so it’s great to be able to go out for a Sunday roast all together with no compromises. Great roasts including a gf Yorkshire pudding! Great gf fish and chips also- the best I’ve ever had!
