Food is usually good but this time it was pretty poor. Portions have gone smaller and prices have gone up. Charged me for prawn crackers which I never ordered.

Sweet n sour was nice an fried rice but chips were vile an sausages were cold an hard so that all went in bin

First time here, nice chow mein (more beanspouts please!) lovely ribs, chips tasted reheated but it was ok and free prawn crackers!

Ordered 3meals + 2 soups and crispy duck. Meals were good, soup was ok too, the “crispy duck” was like cardboard. Pre-shredded rock hard bits of duck that looked like it was salvaged from leftovers and reheated to death. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Never had an issue until now was absolutely below average old chips watery sauces and mostly no taste to it

Don’t usually leave reviews but I was extremely impressed I had to! I ordered steamed char Sui buns - lovely, not sure if the paper underneath was edible after eating half of it but can’t do me any harm. The crispy wontons were the best I’ve ever tasted, big, packed, and crispy with sweet and sour dipping sauce. The prawn toast was the fattest I’ve ever seen and crispy and fresh (sweet and sour sauce would have been a nice accompaniment but used from wontons. Delivery was very fast

Food yet again arrived hot and very tasty, chop suey roll was very nice.

Food was lovely just the ribs were tiny hardly any meat but all in all was nice thankyou

Delivery was on time, they forgot a few items but the redelivered within 20 minutes the missing items. Can’t fault the service. Will definitely order again.

Not good, soup thin, combo supposed to be chicken, pork and wings, had a mountain of chips, spring rolls, ribs and the whole lot a mess in a box, soggy and not at all enjoyable. The chicken bits overcooked and chewy, at Least I tried it, never again, don’t bother with the combo if you like food.

Lins has been our regular chippy for years now and I can thoroughly recommend them. We've enjoyed a range of beautiful Chinese dishes over the years, which have all been gorgeous. Our latest favourites have included special black bean with mushrooms and special foo yung, but I honestly don't think you could go wrong! The service is always impeccable and comes with a smile.

Waste of 30 quid….and I’m reasonable….soup was bland, also had a fly swimming in it. chips must’ve been refried 3 or 4 times…and even the mains were bland and boring, sorry

Food wasn’t fresh, and obviously cooked in old oil. First and last time ordering from here for sure.

Food was left downstairs, as apparently the driver was ‘Not insured’ to come inside the building! Utter rubbish!

Not nice food. Everything was soggy. Salt and pepper chips and wings didn’t taste of any salt and pepper.

Always fab order, we order at least once a fortnight/weekly or collect.

It arrived starters where fine, the beef and black pepper just tasted like pepper over powered the meal, we threw the mains away

Chips were so overcooked they were inedible. Fish was cooked to a sloppy mush and both of them were drowned in salt when no salt was asked for. Very poor.

Fish wasn’t nice at all. Very soggy, slimy fish which disintegrated. Straight in the bin.

the most disgusting food ever. should have not wasted my money. totally inedible. duck with tomato and onion was just pieces of fat floating in a tasteless gloop. char sui fried rice had no meat in and was dry. the 'meal' ended up in the bin.

The most disgusting food we have ever had the misfortune to try. Duck in onion and tomato was just pieces of fat floating in a tasteless sauce. Husbands 'char sui ' fried rice was meatless. Chicken and sweetcorn soup was watery and tasteless. All this for £31.00. Don't waste your money and order from somewhere (anywhere) else. I've never had such disgusting food. I might as well have thrown my money in the bin, because that's where this 'meal' ended up. Gross

Food was delivered 20 minutes after ordering, piping hot with all amendments correct. Delicious as always, best Chinese around! Food amazing quality and the service is next to none.

Really nice food again from Lin's, Crosby - would order again. Some food was 'over-done' which I think may have been due to my late order and I think the lemon sauce (with duck) was too sweet/sugary (getting too close to lemon curd for my liking) but the rest was fine.

Sent chicken toast instead of prawn toast :( and ribs were very fatty also

Piping hot, great portions and full of flavor.

Normally the food from here is lovely and indeed half the order was absolutely fine however, the char Sui fried rice was absolutely bland and had no taste at all. The only meat in there was tiny little shreds not the nice slices that you get in every other meal. It really wasn’t worth the money on this occasion.

Wasn’t hot but it was delicious. The soup was really nice Crispy beef wasn’t crispy but it wasn’t chewy either so it was nice and it was spicy but not overpowering. Rice was a bit bland and cold but it wasn’t horrible Good size portions

Really disappointed with the food- char Sui in Cantonese sauce was 90% onions. Sui mai were overcooked and just tasted burnt. Usually brilliant food from Chen's!

Very disappointed with this takeaway considering its one of the more dearer ones! Fried rice was basically just plain rice no flavour, chips under done and main dish had way too many onions.

Thought we would try somewhere new which is always risky but everything was Absolutely unreal 10/10 and can’t wait to order again!!
