2 reasons to avoid Linda’s café. 1) Poorest quality food you’re ever likely to find – anywhere. 2) Unbelievably small portions. So-called “Mega” breakfasts were served on SIDE PLATES. They featured ONE rasher of bacon (where 2 are on the menu); NO tomatoes (toms are on the menu); a tiny portion of beans; the sausages, virtually all cereal, were microscopic; and the bread had a tainted smell to it. Further, another customer at the time was complaining about Linda’s ridiculously small ice-creams.

Beware, total rip of. Prices for ice creams not easily seen. Result £11.50 for three very small tubs and one small cone. Go down beach towards main Mablethorpe. Layla, £12.90, 1 large oyster, 2 large sundaes, 1 kid with extra topping. Disgraceful!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a total rip off this cafe is....I ordered 3 milkshakes for my grandchildren , well if they were milkshakes then I'm the queen of Sheba! I ordered two chocolate, one strawberry....all we're served Luke warm, no flavour in any of them and no ice cream in any of them ....the so called chocolate were basically just milk and half full, the strawberry was just as rubbish.....two Fanta drinks and charged sixteen quid! Absolute disgrace and I told them too! Will be giving them a wide berth when I next visit Mablethorpe! The cafe on the promenade up the ramp is much better in value and quality! Avoid at all cost!!

We ordered a bacon and a sausage bap. We were quite shocked when our food arrived as it was just placed on the table on a thin piece of tissue (not even a napkin). Our bacon bap only contained one rasher of thin bacon- certainly not worth the price we paid. We were disappointed when the table next to us were served their food on a plate, I’m not sure why we didn’t get our food served on plates- it wasn’t like it was busy. On the plus side the drinks were cheap!

We'd been walking along the seafront from Sutton on Sea when there was a downpour of rain and hail. As we approached Mablethorpe we could see the cafes in front of us taking in their chairs, etc. We arrived at Queen's Park and were very pleased to find that The Pavilion Cafe was still open. As the weather began to ease we stopped here for a very welcome hot drink - just what we needed. They do all sorts of snacks and food too.

Awful drinks, this place has benches and tables along the front which cannot be used unless you purchase so we went for coffee - they do not serve decaf! A coffee place without decaf in 2024! Hot coffee and coffee was £5.80, they had no lids, no extras offered on the hot chocolate. Go along the parade to Butlins for a lovely hot choc, with extras for less and benches a plenty with a friendly service plus you even get a biscuit. Bibby's felt unwelcoming, poor on service and customer needs. Only the front counter looked open and the prices were insane for a coastal basic snack bar. Not going back, there was horrible grain in the bottom of the cup which didn't even look like chocolate 😕 I threw it away and went to sit on the wall. Needs to up its game for 2025 and be appealing as the competition is much better.

Really impressed with Basil's restaurant! Visited here for lunch whilst holidaying in the area and their homemade cheesecake range looked amazing! We opted for the strawberry and white chocolate one which we took away and that was very good quality. We also had the sausage and onion chutney paninis and they were really good. Very generous with the onion chutney and lovely butchers sausages. The homemade coleslaw was also very nice. The restaurant is very modern, light and vibrant, really nice décor and very welcoming. It's a lovely little garden centre too with lots of nice things to look at. Was gutted I didn't get to see their gorgeous spaniel dog Jack this time, but hopefully next time! 🤞Will definitely make sure this is a place I make a point of visiting when I holiday here next year as the cheesecake is not to be missed!

Nice place for kids and adults. Bingo every day and night. Arcades for the kids and a food stall outside but you can take it inside to eat
