Lin Lam in Rochford

Fancied a little nibble this evening cost me £18.80 and it was the most vile chinese I have ever tried to eat. 1 chips, 2 pancake rolls half portion chicken balls, half portion prawn balls and an egg fried rice. You would not think you could go wrong with those few bits. Chips were cold, prawn balls were undercooked and completely dough inside and prawns undercooked and cold, the bag that had the pancake rolls had at least a quarter of a cup of oil in the bottom of the bag and the rice was crispy and lukewarm.This was one of the few times I could not eat my food and was so disappointed that I will never buy from them again.

Nice local Chinese which offers good value for money .

Ordered from here as was recommended to us. We really did not enjoy the food at all. In fact I actually spat it back out, and threw it all away. We won't be back here.

Friendly service and great food. Food is prepared quickly and is always hot. Generally space for parking. Never had a bad meal from here.

We’ve had a fair few takeaways from here and most of the time it’s been okish, then we found another Chinese just up the road so started using them most of the time until tonight, we thought we would go back and try here again …… NEVER again, we both ordered a simple curry, the chicken was big lumps of meat and the sauce looked like it had been reheated and a load of stodge and to be honest I’ve served my dog better looking food than that, the place also looks like it hasn’t had a lick of paint in years so I dread to think what the kitchen is like!!!!

Had a takeaway recently whilst visiting family. Best chop suey I've had, all the veg was fresh and crunchy, the rice noodles were good too. 6 of us all enjoyed what we had ordered. Tastes more home made and fresh compared to a lot of other Chinese meals I've had elsewhere in the past.

Just moved into the area and this was going to be my local Chinese. Waited in Chinese for 40minutes for tofu saturated in oil both sweet and sour and Kung po tasted the same. Wanted chilli chips and got wedges hate wedges and cold

We have had Chinese from here for many years and it has been good.This weekend we had the worst meal ever from there.We had ribs which were burnt,sweet ‘ n ‘sour prawns which must have been cooked and re heated special Chou mein very dry and sweet and sour chicken with hardly any sauce.It was horrible.We will never go there again.

Worst chinese I have ever been to, chicken balls looked like they had already half been ewten, chips were cold and re cooked sweet and sour sauce tasted like gone off ketchup wouldn't reccomend this place.
