Ali Baba's Kebab & Pizza in Rochford

should have been delivery not collection when calling to ask if this could be sorted the response was incredibly rude. would not let me explain just very defensive

Delivery arrived with a pizza missing so driver had to go back to collect it. Shish kebab was cold

donner meat was nice but the other meat for the mixed special was quite finely chopped in tiny bits which you couldnt really identify with a few bits that were just fat. lots of grease at the bottom so the pitta was very soggy.

Normally spot on but items missing ordered combo kebabs but they were not combo so we've been overcharged and left without correct ordered! Tried to ring but no answer! The rice was also clumpy / over cooked and salad brown!

Never go anywhere else , so good .

Was really tasty but was stone cold and the salad had leaked everywhere in the bag really need to think about packaging and delivery process. Will definitely give it another try though because it was so tasty.

Ordered 11.55 Friday night, arrived 20mins later. Friendly driver. Fresh, piping hot donner, wedges and pizza, all perfectly cooked.

The food was cold and the portions were extremely small we were scammed .

Ordered a pizza at 19.32, arrived 21.15 barely warm. Have had kebabs and pizzas from here before, no issues but this was poor. Called them, they apologised, nothing more.

Not sure how this place hasn’t got 5 stars! Probably one of the best kebabs Iv had from a kebab shop. Comes close to a Turkish restaurant. Complementary rice and hummus! You’re lucky to get a free chilli sauce at others.

The kebab was beautiful but I feel short changed 😲 I ordered a combination kebab chicken& lamb Shiah and Donner meat. Whilst waiting I counted the meat on the skewers their was7/8 pieces each skewer. Imagine how gutted I was to get home and find my meal with Donner, 5 pieces of lamb and 3 pieces of chicken shish WHAT A CON Ifelt ripped off VERY DISAPPOINTED

I understand it’s a Friday night so waiting just over an hour is warranted, but the food was very poor, my doner meat was so over done, it was almost crispy, the chicken shish was tough, no rice was delivered, the large chips were at best a medium portion, but to be fair were tasty, don’t like giving negative feedback but was a waste of money unfortunately, hopefully our go to kebab takeaway opens again soon

Potatoes wedges were over done and more like crisps. Chicken Shish kebab was on the greasey side.

I don't usually have anything to moan about but the pittas were over done this time with 1 actually being burnt. I had 2 with the order and paid for an extra one. I ordered the large pizza box.

Decent food as always, but was missing the chips and the tub of salad was upside down in the bag leaving the red cabbage juice to run throughout, very messy. ☹️

Usually this place is great but very disappointed tonight. Late, cold and not tasty.

We have ordered from here for 6 years, spent a lot of money and never had a problem. I received my order this time and the chips were missing and the kebab sizes were wrong. I called the shop to let them know and I spoke to a young man and he said “you are lying”. He demanded that I send him a picture of the food I received, he gave me his mobile number and I sent it. He then called me a lier again and said I could be hiding the chips. I told him he is going to lose a good customer because of the way he was speaking to me and he said “I don’t care if I lose a customer”. I told him I was upset about how he was treating me and he said “what are you upset for? You got your food”. I have spoken to the owner before and he is a reasonable and polite man but this young man refused to let me speak to him. I will never purchase from Alibaba’s again.

Always order from Ali Baba's for burger/kebab...always early, always hot, always delicious, very good portion sizes...and the one time there was a mishap on the order, they sent someone straight out with the replacement, no questions asked!! Always our first choice for burger/kebab!!

Food was really good but no rice was delivered as shown on the menu with the chops or kleftiko. I would have ordered rice if it showed it as a separate side only. So only ended up with meat and salad.

I ordered a combination kebab which includes a salad, the salad did not turn up, and the pot of chilli sauce hardly covered the bottom of pot. I rang to complain and although I got an apologie, there was no urgency to deliver my salad, or a decent pot of chilli sauce. I paid £19 for an incomplete order. I have always used Ali Baba in the past, but never again

Not the restaurants fault. The delivery driver delivered my food to the wrong address and left it sitting in outside on a cold floor. I then got a phone call to say my food was waiting outside for me. He said we called my flat number and there was no answer so left it outside and drove off. I then went outside and could see my food so I explained that he couldn’t have delivered it to me and no one had called my flat intercom. The donor meat was a bit dry in the lamb kebab, not had the mixed kebab as yet. The main complaint was that the lids were not put on the chili sauces properly and they had both leaked all over the rest of the contents of the bag. By the time we carefully picked our way through the mess the food was cold. Of course pleased with the speedy delivery but at the expense of taking care when packing the bag ☹️

Amazing. when I ordered I thought it was a little pricey after delivery fee too, for a meat moussaka, chicken shish iscender and onion rings, when delivererd we had 2 rice, 2 salad, hummous, and 4 dips. so worth the money really enjoyed it and was so full. 👌

It was late, then when it arrived it wasn't what I ordered then waited 45 mins again for the remaining items. I know it's because they are super busy but then they should stop taking orders. It's always been the same.

I ordered a small and a large kebab. However I received 2 small kebabs. I went through the Just Eat procedure and took photographs. However Just eat for some reason didn’t get what I was saying about getting 2 small kebabs instead of one large and one small. I’m still trying to get them to understand what happened. Still out of pocket. I’m waiting for just eat to get back in touch.
