absolutely delicious food ribs falling of the bone loads of meat,the chicken and beef curry was jammed full of meat & a lovely curry sauce to boot, the chicken & cashews was the best I have tasted for years loads of cashews rice great chips good 10/10

Finally found Chinese food with halal chicken options in the area. Enjoyed the food thoroughly. Authentic Chinese taste and the portion size was great too. Would definitely go again and try more thing off of their menu.

the vegtable pan cake rolls were realy nice the ribbs were realy tough .

One of the best Chinese meals I've had for a while. We had chicken noodle soup, wanton soup, and a special Singapore vermicelli.

The sweet and sour was neither, there was no taste at all. The rice was dry and the chow mein was greasy. Yes i know they are slightly different from each takeaway but I've never had one I've not enjoyed. This went in the bin as i couldn't eat it. Total waste of money.

Havnt had a takeaway for a while so was looking forward to one..ordered a large chicken curry..not happy..wasn't hot on arrival..did not taste nice and the sauce was like dish water from it being that watered down..very disappointing!!!

Nothing we bought tasted good. Hot and sour soup - sweet?! Should never be sweet! Also the other meals full of sugar, extremely sweet, no other taste just sugar. Szechuan dishes - unrecognisable - full of raw courgette, very little meat, no taste whatsoever.

The staff that answered the phone to take the order was nothing short of rude ! I asked to pay by debit card and her reply was I’ll do it this one last time but never again as we’re busy and I’m needed in the kitchen !

Customer service and food were awful chips were rock hard and meat all fat. When I asked for refund (as in temper I threw it all in wheelie bin ) I was told no unless I scrapped it out of the bin which you can image I won't be doing. They did offer me 50% off next meal but this wasn't the first bad meal and won't be going back.even more so with how rude I was spoken to by the boss

Terrible. Ordered £30 worth of food paid online, to get an email saying your closed. If your closed your online ordering should not allow people to order. Now I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund. Terrible will not be ordering from here again!!

Looks like a change of chef been going here 30 yrs only had a chow mein tasteless very poor chicken like rubber and under cooked with little or no soy sauce.

Sweet and sour watery and tasteless same as the curry sauce. Had a box of chips and bits in a pizza tray and they sprinkled sugar on the food. Not much of it was edible and I will never go back. Disgusting!

we came in to order some chicken balls and rice and chips. we saw them cooking my food .and they drop one of my chicken balls on the floor they pick it up and put it in the bag. will never eat there again sorry.

Vile place to have food from!! Food was all greasy and like there was loads of oil at bottom of the trays!! Rang up to complain and they told me they don’t use oil to cook there food they don’t know what it is!!! Go waist ur money and go this place!

Trash, literally no flavour, sweet and sour sauce is runny like water and flavourless, chicken balls greasy and the batter is soggy, thrown in the bin

Set menu for 2 people ordered, All items Greasy and lacking flavour, everything tasted the same (like oil) very Bland and all in all disappointing, the Black bean sauce was closer to water in flavour and consistency , Shame, this take away Used too be good but from my recent experience it's now Nasty.

Always have the same meal (l know a stick in the woods) chicken and mushroom curry with fried rice perfect meal every time you can also a laugh with the staff especially when I try to talk to one that doesn't speak English

Food was AVERAGE. Delivery person 100/10! (Lovely delivery lady). However... customer service/person on the phone was extremely APPALLING to talk to. It would put anyone off from ordering again. Extremely rude!

I have ordered from Lims Chinese a couple of times, however, this will be the last time I will be ordering from this chinese takeaway. I had horrendous food poisoning from my last order. The salt and pepper chips were also extremely salty. AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!

Called tonight as I was close by for a Takeaway, and now I now why I stopped going!! My meal was Singapore fried rice which supposed to be spicy, this was bland and not spicy at all. Curry sauce was orange and like water, did not taste like curry sauce at all. Chips were not cooked both pale and hard. Threw it away and 15 minutes later on the toilet!!!!! The wife had Crispy chilli beef which came with the beef dry sitting on top of the sauce, and again was bland and tasted like yesterdays!! Never going again. Used to be so good but now the worst around.

First time and last time ordering from here chips uncooked cold wonton uncooked and my God the salt an pepper chips taste more like sugar and spice put it in wait for the kick Gob full sugar never again

ordered meal to be delivered, New Years Eve, 1 hour 30 minutes to arrived, which we knew about as they were busy and as lims always so good in past we were willing to wait. Meal arrived cold, prawn toasts full of grease not edible. No taste in the food, gelatinous texture to sweet and sour. All in bin. What has happened to Lims, it used to be so good, now rubbish,

The food was warm, and came in a decent time the gravy over one meal had leaked all over the others. The pepper chips were raw on most of them, and very very oily. The rest of the meal was fine but portion size against what you were paying compare to other local places was really small. I dont think I will be using them again.

Amazing Chinese one of the best I've eatten can be a little wait get your food. But trust me it so worth it. The que for the Chinese is always busy. And they have that many orders via phone. You know its a good place

First time for years I've used lims, was impressed, food was lovely, piping hot, driver was friendly, didn't mind the 7 flights of stairs, service was quick too, and they do smaller versions of the curry meals too, ideal for smaller people eating on their own. Well done guys

Just ordered a meal about 30 minutes ago came quite fast put it out on my plate and put some Prawn crackers on the side of the plate, found a Black Hair on top of one. Call them up and they said none of them have black Hair and the Gentleman on the phone just happened to pack that particular packet and it wasn't his hair. Well it certainly isn't mine I am a Red Head. So that's my Food gone in the Bin because of a Hair that doesn't belong to any Staff.

I wouldnt even bother any more with lims the meat in the chow mein isnt even edible .. its rough missed coloured .. the crispy shredded beef sauce taste of pure vinegar with a tiny spice ... they clearly dont give a foo no more

Delicious Thai chicken curry and chicken with mixed veg in oyster sauce. Recommend you try their Thai spicy noodle salad. Very quick service. Plenty of choice on the menu and a few specials on the board

Had from here a week ago food was nice so I thought I would ordered from same place same food and it's £4 over for "delivery" he said I will take it off and the order was over £20 1hr 30 minutes I call them back and he said he cancelled the order 🤨 the guy on the phone was RUDE and unprofessional I will never order from here again and as a delivery driver i know drivers dont get the delivery charge it greedy owners thinking they can put it up with out customers seen the prices going up the food was good but that guy attitude was out of order 🤬

This used to be the place to go for a Chinese take away but not any more. Used them a while ago and it seems it had fallen well below the standards they set in the past. However, we thought we’d try again in case it was a one off. Yuk. I had the sweet and sour chicken while the wife had the Cantonese style chicken with egg fried rice. Chicken balls were rock hard and cracked when you tried to get a fork in them, clearly cooked hours ago. The same with the chips which were hard and blistered, presumably from old oil. They were too bad to eat so I cracked open a few of the chicken balls and chucked the chicken pieces to the dog. With no word of a lie he’s since been sick. The wife just binned hers as the Cantonese chicken was completely overdone and chewy. I don’t know what you’ve changed at Lims but I suggest you change it back before you either go bust with lack of sales or get shut down by the food standards people.. What a shame....
