Lovely little cafe in the high street. Great coffee. My kids love the pastries and cakes. Their little deli is great too for pate’s, cheese, wine, and various bits.

This quaint little cafe I visited a month ago has just had a facelift and boy does it look good. The baristas are lovely, smiling and helpful. For a fussy double macchiato drinker, my coffee was just delicious. There is seating outside to watch the little picturesque world of Thames Ditton go by whilst enjoying a lovely small talk with neighbouring table locals. Bliss.

My partner and I had a great flapjack and ricotta cake here as a pit stop, owner was super nice and welcoming. Top tip is to visit the deli next door which is owned by the cafe owner and has some fantastic products.

Taken away a latte and a bun , both were good quality, next time will try something bigger . The staff were very polite and attentive, so must thank their parents and maybe the owner ! Other reviews might have reviewed another cafe .

If you’re looking for a warm welcome go somewhere else. Only asked for a coffee and the man in charge looked at me like I was something he found on his shoe. I see from the reviews I’m not the only one. Utterly bizarre

A gem if you’re looking for great organic wines! An excellent selection available in Lime Tree. Along with organic food and deli section. We stopped for coffee and ended up with a few other things. Really happy we found this place and restored our faith in humanity! Team @ Indigo

I buy various olive oils from this great deli/cafe all are excellent and as for the chilli oil have tried many varieties and nothing comes close to it - give it a try David from Leeds

Fantastic. Have been going here for years. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. Have discovered new cheeses, enjoyed meeting up for coffee with friends and tasted new wines at their cheese and wine evening. Highly recommend

Been coming here for years and it’s always been top quality. Best tasting coffee and the food is great too - the homemade bread and butter pudding and the scotch eggs are my favourite. The owner is always very friendly and knows so much about his products. Highly recommend! :)

Firstly can I say amazing local deli with a great menu and a cheeky croque monsieur. Sadly that’s the only positive. The owner is incredibly pretentious and horrible, we have lived in the area for 5 months and decided to stop in and have lunch. We were made to feel like we didn’t belong despite other people being greeted and served warmly. Don’t bother unless your a local or over 50 and posh. Much better options locally.

No menu so don't know what is on offer, service friendly but can be slow, as often busy.

I had an extraordinarily delicious flat white at the Lime Tree this morning. The staff are all friendly and professional. They are clearly very knowledgeable and passionate about every aspect of the food and drink at this gem of a deli! I will definitely be back soon.

Great local deli/cafe for small meats, cheese and bread. Coffees are good and light breakfasts with local pastries are great too. On top of all that the staff are the best part of it!

Reasonable food but undone by painfully slow service from all the staff, right from taking the order through to waiting way to long for it to be delivered. I've tried a few times but always the same forgettable experience.

This is a pretty location, a pleasant and smart environment with fine foods for sale. The food is tasty too the problem I find is the unfriendly reception for those not from Thames Ditton. I have visited several times - (as I said the food is good) and every time I have received an off-hand, unfriendly reception which doesn't seem reflect how the locals are treated. A shame.

Visiting the lime tree is a uncomfortable experience I have visited on three separate occasions due to being in the village on business same superior attitude from the guy who runs the lime tree and seems to have absolutely no regard or time for anyone who is not a local as for the staff I found them to be very rude and unprofessional that said the coffee is good and the location is lovely but the guy and staff need a few lessons in manners and respect.

Oh wow. This place is amazing. A little class in a beautiful old location.
