Absolutely amazing authentic Chinese restaurant. Homely vibes, with tasty food. The owner is extremely sweet and considerate. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner.

The boss’s attitude is very good. The three blends are delicious with sour plum sauce.

Crispy roast duck was super tasty. Roast pork was also tasty and crispy with a good balance of fat and meat. Service was very good, run by husband and wife team. You can tell they care about their customers with the effort they put in.

This is a wonderful place for food and not forgetting China tea. I discovered Lily's about two months ago and I have been coming here for meals at least once a week. Such excellent food and lovely people who work so very hard. Thankyou.

We drove half hour once arrived Goose Gate , straight forward walked to Lily Umami have our lunch at Goose Gate Nottingham ! Roasted duck and Cantonese Char sui always being our best choices ! We this time ordered Mixed Roasted Meat Cantonese Style with boiled rice served with plums sauce , and ordered one Fired Ho Fun with Beef ! They were wonderful dishes together to shared with my friend ! Of course never missed Chinese tea Oolong Tea ! We all love the texture & the taste of the Cantonese roasted meat and the fired Ho fun’s flavor from the wok! we feel we were in the city!

Absolutely fantastic. The staff went out of their way to accommodate my meal chair. We were allowed to bring our own wine (no corkage). The food is excellent. I highly recommend the hot and sour soup and the salt and pepper ribs. Will be eating there again today. Ken Blair

This place is a little hidden gem and very good value. We ordered: egg fried rice, braised pork belly, salt and pepper chicken, salt and pepper chips and a sauce, as well as 3 bubble teas and altogether it was £42.50. We added extras to the bubble teas and considered bubble tea can be £5/6 each, this was well worth the price for the size of the portions too. There are seats in there, one table of 4 and 3 table of 2’s, so good for eat in and take away. There service was impeccable, the staff were really friendly and helpful with ordering what we liked. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone who fancies a good Chinese

The environment in the store is very warm. The chicken fried rice is a big plate with a lot of meat. It is the most fragrant fried rice I have ever eaten hereฅ՞•ﻌ•՞ฅ

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING AND UNDERRATED! I used to go here for bubble tea and spicy Sichuan fried chicken (before COVID). I went in to order the same as usual, and was disappointed when I discovered that they changed their menu. HOWEVER! Out of curiosity, I tried their salt & pepper crab. The portion was very generous for £14, and it was mind-blowingly amazing! Definitely a good value. It was very fragrant and had the right amount of saltiness. When I passed by some people on the way back home, they commented on how fragrant it is! Honestly, I am so mind blown - I have tried a lot of salt & pepper before, and it can be deceptively hard to get the right balance. This nails everything down! Can't wait to try out the other menu that they have! Definitely, definitely recommend. The lady on the counter was also very nice, even though there's a language barrier!

Ripped me off, checked the website when I got home and my order should have been around £35 and they charged me £55. Won't be going again. Staff were not that friendly and preferred to talk to their friends sat in the than serve the customer waiting to be served.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. This is more of a small laid back eatery than posh restaurant but the made-fresh authentic cooking is fantastic. Shame we were in a rush else would have ordered a second course, even though the portions were huge and filling 😋

I came here with my parents and sisters a few weeks ago and it was the best Chinese food we have had! We came a little late and they were very accommodating and stayed late for us. Very welcoming and great service. Absolutely loved the food, we will definitely be back!!

不知道是不是两三年前在伯明翰吃的那家，当时特别喜欢吃他们家的皮蛋瘦肉粥和肉饼，还有椒麻肥牛饭，连续吃了很多次，还经常打包带回宿舍。

Lovely and welcoming staff. Lots of options to choose from and I only waited around 10 minutes for my food to be ready. I paid £9 for chicken noodles and considering the portion size and how tasty it was, definitely worth it.

I think there's a problem with the menu, most meat dishes and vegetable dishes are around the same price regardless of how much time, resources or effort it takes to cook that dish. Which makes you completely ignore the vegetarian dish as its low value for money. Anyway 🤷 do with that what you will. 6/10 will pop in again for the gigantic dumplings.

总体味道还算不错吧，但是需要等待时间为30分钟起，而且之前点了一个肉，吃了一个里面居然是冰的，而且肥肉就像冻住的油一样，吃了一个就吃不下去了，之前来过几次菜品都还可以，但是上次去味道没有那么好，而且量很少.

This is my first time to have dinner in a Chinese restaurant in Nottingham. I accompanied with my fds to order a steamed sea bass, a fried rice and a sweet corn soup. This was an amazing dinner. The standard of food is as excellent as South China area. You would feel like at home. The price is ideal. Three family members are the owners. They are all very nice and kind. We are highly recommended and looking forward to go there again.

15/10!!! put in a special request on ubereats as I was sick and craving for something which wasn’t on the menu. The restaurant made me exactly what I wanted 🥺🥺🥺 have ordered food from here about 4 times now, always really good.

Wandered past and thought we'd give Lily's a try and so glad we did! The dim sum was home made, the congee just like Mum makes and the roast pork and rice was spot on. Delicious! Plus the lady behind the counter was lovely and really welcoming. Would come back in a heart beat.

Went to eat in about 10pm on a Friday. The food is really fresh and delicious,, interesting and varied menu, great range of non alcoholic drinks and the staff could not have been kinder. Thoroughly recommended. Excellent value for money too.

I’ve eaten here a few times now, the service is always very welcoming, tonight we shared, egg fried rice, dumplings and the salt and pepper squid. Although the squid & the dumplings could have been hotter we still enjoyed it!

Small business with very friendly customer service and great food. While there is a language barrier, they are always learning and do their best to meet your expectations and beyond. Their food is superb and while it may seem expensive, they are very generous with their portions and super authentic. Must try and currently a underrated restaurant! I really hope they become as popular as some other Chinese restaurants in Nottingham!

Friendly staff,small family cafe business.Nice food.Tea served with meals. 2 tables inside and 2outside on the pavement. Variety of dishes to choose from. Can pay by cash or credit card. lots of things I would recommend. I personally like the Chinese dumplings, aubergines char sui, roast duck .Well everything we ordered. 🙂Will visit again definitely.

Nos encanta visitar el establecimiento para tomar una bebida refrescante y, a veces, un almuerzo ligero. Hay una gran variedad de bebidas y variedades dentro de la elección. Plazas limitadas y cuando lo visito es con pago en efectivo. Ubicado a solo un par de minutos a pie del Estadio Nacional de Hielo y del Motorpoint Arena, y está ubicado en Hockley, en el Creative Quarter of Nottingham. Siempre vuelva a visitar y lo recomendaría para una bebida refrescante. Les deseo la mejor de las suertes.

I ordered No ice in milk tea but they still no ice the lady seems very not familiar with her job....

+Positive: Friendly, unique wraps and lovely teas, milk and otherwise. The nuggets were beautiful, tender mildly spiced chunks of chicken thigh and breast in a light batter, and not greasy in the slightest. It's great to sit in and watch Hockley go by. -Negative(ish): It feels a bit expensive sometimes, but the wraps are pretty big and you get a *lot* of nuggets for your £5.80. The only thing I actually have an issue with is the price of the tea. Sure, you get quite a lot and it's good tea, but when even the black tea is £3.95 for essentially a teabag, water, ice cubes and a plastic cup/straw it feels a bit much.

Nice place, heavy accent when you irder but other thab that all good. Even got a free bubble drink as needed to go to cashpoint to get some cash. Food menu is not widest but overal is good impression.

The milk tea( with black pearls) had been one of the best ones I have ever tasted. The tea was thick and flavoursome. However, my last visits recently had been disappointing as the milk tea was so tasteless. Being more expensive than most other milk tea shops, I really hope that they could make sure the milk tea is always up to standard.

Had a delivery today through hungry panda. Ordered a guava purée with lychee juice and one of their specials (forgot the name) they were good . tastes just like rubicon lychee and guava mixed with some fresh fruits. I ordered both drinks with less sugar but they were still quite sweet so be aware that the original version could be SWEET. I really love the quality of the containers and packaging so I gave this a 4 ⭐️.
