A very nice atmosphere and amazing food

Really nice evening tonight at lil Verde with my wife. Staff were welcoming and really friendly , Majid the waiter couldn’t do enough for us to ensuring we had everything thing we wanted, Emma’s food was absolutely delicious, I would highly recommend this little hidden gem in Huddersfield

My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at lil Verde this evening. The pizzas are amazing, the best ive had for a very long time. I would highly recommend that you visit this little hidden treasure, it’s a MUST!!!

A hidden gem in Huddersfield Town Centre! This little spot is perfect for eating as a couple or with family. We have two young children and have visited twice now with them. Both times they’ve loved their meals and the Oreo milkshake is a hit! Reasonably price, great service and the owner Emma, is going a fab job running this great eating establishment! Only downside is that there are no toilet facilities for customers but plans are the pipeline to get these in - please don’t let that put you off visiting! Happy eating!

Run by the nicest people and the food is excellent! Our kids are already planning for a return visit. We ordered both pizza and pasta dishes - everything was superb. Very impressed!

One of my favourite Italian restaurants. Lovely atmosphere, brilliant staff who must be proud of their work and the food was excellent. The pizza was just right, not greasy. It tastes fresh and the value is absolutely perfect. Hopefully they'll continue to impress!

Table of three for lunch, had a real hankering for Italian and after ringing a couple of other local spots that were closed remembered this place had recently popped up. Small place (not a negative at all, just might be limited seating inside) but we were the only table there so no issues! The interior is lovely with wooden paneling and exposed stone as well. Started with the prawns, bruschetta and mushrooms and wow portion size was incredible and everything was delicious. Mains were two pizzas and a pasta, the pizza base was perfect with just the right amount of toppings, not overloaded but certainly healthy. The pasta was rich and bursting with flavour but the spicy sausage was. the stand out. Gorgeous. There's an offer for a free bottle of wine if you spend over a certain amount which we jumped at. All in all, 3 starters, 3 mains, a bottle of wine, 4 budweisers and a coke and all for just over 20 quid a head. Absolutely superb! Incredible value and lovely food. A lovely chat with the owner who was a really nice. Will be returning, even if its a takeaway!

Me and my friend came here for something to eat before going to Harry Potter enchanted forest. We have to say the service was exceptional, I didn’t get the ladies name but she was so friendly and attentive. We are both vegans and they catered for us really well! We just asked for the pizza with no cheese and it was really delicious! We had the bruschetta, the chips and the pinch balls (highly recommended). Each dish was fresh, delicious and not greasy! We will be coming back again, we loved it!

We moved to Huddersfield two years ago and have been searching for eateries that serve not only delicious but healthy foods. I must say Lil Verde is our BEST find. The Magherita pizza is sooo delicous, hot and crispy to the last bite! The Napoli was fresh, juicy and aromatic. A very gratifying meal. Talked to the lovely owner there she said she made their own bread, own pizza dough and use exclusive high quality olive oil for cooking. Lil Verde has raised the eatery standard in Huddersfield and more importantly, cooking with real passion and a loving heart ♡♡♡

Everyone order from here. Seriously, it's the best, proper hidden gem! Food is all so nice and reasonably priced, it's become a staple for me since I know it's still healthy for me AS WELL as being bangin. Staff are all lovely too - the first time I met the family, the mum made me her original strawberry dacquiri whilst I was waiting (which was the best I've ever had) and I had a paper aeroplane contest with the sons. To the young lad who threw his further than mine... I'll get you next time. - the man with the washing up bowl.

Called here after it had been recommended and I'm really glad it was. Can be a bit daunting dining alone but didn't feel uncomfortable. More importantly the food was lovely especially their homemade salad dressing. Will definitely be back and not alone.

Very friendly and welcoming. I sat outside in the sunshine listening to the church bells peeling away across the road during bell ringing practice. Great service and coffee served during a time when the shop was officially closed (out of hours) . I’m looking forward to going back and trying the food when it’s actually open! Cyclist friendly.

I work nearby so get lunch often from lil verde. It’s very fairly priced and huge portions. The food is lovely and fresh, made to order so you can ask specifically for what you want. The staff are very kind and welcoming and can’t do enough for you especially Emma. Thanks so much, will be back soon
