Li-Hao in Glasgow City

Good and tasty food (the salt and chili chicken is really good!), portions are big (got some spring rolls for free) and arrived on time as specified on Uber eats. I was a bit hesitant on the arrival time since majority of the reviews were highlighting the poor delivery. Will definitely order again!

THE BEST CHINESE EVER. I always order from here, always warm, always fresh and tastes good, no hard and dry chips, no pasty curry. It's so GOOD. Hope they will always stay on top cuz I have yet to find a restaurant to top them. Slight update. I love this place and still do, but the time it takes to deliver is so so bad. Waiting over 2hrs for my food, not first time this has happened. And i am sad about it 3rd update. This place is officially finished. Food doesnt come. No contact nothing. Went from my fav place to the worst. Sad

Terrible service and lie to you on the phone

Over 2 hours for a delivery, when you call to chase they tell you driver has just left and then call back 30 mins later and told the food is still waiting to be collected by driver. Couple of other reviews are saying the same thing and it seems to be a pattern. Won’t be surprised if the order doesn’t arrive as they close at 1030 and other reviewers say they just close and don’t bother delivering. Really disappointing as the food was initially good and we started ordering after seeing great tiktok reviews but the overall service and what you are receiving now is extremely lacking.

Terrible service. 2 hours after ordering food is still not here. Called and the person on the phone was so rude. £40 order and still no food.

Fantastic Food and Excellent Service! I recently ordered from Li Hao takeaway in Glasgow and was thoroughly impressed! The food was absolutely delicious, with the salt and pepper chicken being a standout dish. Everything arrived piping hot and the portions were generous. Food's ok but pick it up as delivery times are atrocious. (1hr 30 mins and counting) and you won't get an honest answer if you chase it up by phone. Will take your money but not too bothered about delivering the food.

BEWARE ORDERING FROM HERE AS IF AT WEEKEND THEY JUST BLANK YOU AFTER CALLING THEM AND THEM TELLING ME AFTER 90mins they be 15mins AWAY then after A FURTHER 2hours shop closed no delivery AND I WAS A REGULAR CUSTOMER FOOD SO POOR DO NOT KNOW WHY I EVEN ORDER DONE ME A FAVOUR LONG TERM TAKE NOTICE AND FO SAME HOPE HELPS VERY SAD LIES THEY ALSO TELL.

Would never order anywhere else, this is the best Chinese in Glasgow by a country mile. Always get tofu and it is the BEST. Service is always great, tonight I had to nip out quickly for an emergency and the driver waited 8 minutes for me to come back rather than leaving it at the door. Can't fault Li Hao, never fails :)

AVOID !!! Never got our food after 3 hours of waiting We ordered two mains at 18:42. Our flat is a 7 minute drive from this Chinese restaurant. It is now 21:25 and we don't have our food. We called three times to ask for updates on our order, and the woman on the phone was SO RUDE and could not care less ... she said the driver took it ages ago and she doesn't know where our order is. she gave me the phone number of the driver who did not speak English and hung up on me. Actual joke of a place .... would not recommend to anyone that wants to actually eat their food and not wait for 3 hours ... and the woman is actually the rudest person I have ever encountered.

I ordered special fried rice and crispy fried chicken wings with sauce. The fried rice came with its own big pot of gravy (never had that before) and the chicken came with lots of sauce. The fried rice was a massive portion with big pieces of chicken and pork on top of the rice. I thought i had someone else's order when i picked it up as it was so heavy! Chicken wings (at least 5 i think) were very good. This place delivers on value for money without a doubt! Chinese food is rarely "fine dining" and this place obviously isn't that but it was as good as any takeaway I've had and it was extremely good value for money. I would easily go back and recommend it.

Decided to order some takeaway and collect it. Home delivery is in high demand so faster to collect. I ordered salt and chilli chicken, lemon chicken, prawn toast and a plain chow mein. Ready in 15-20 minutes. Cash only. Friendly service and food was nice, very good value for money, £16 for the lot.
