Level 6 in Blackpool

From the moment you walk in the staff are pleasant and attentive. The menus are always good but this latest menu was outstanding. I had a salmon mousse to start. It was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The next course was potato soup and anyone thinking this was a little bland I have to tell you it was really tasty. My main was fish in a butter and caper sauce. It was quite a big portion and after devouring it I was really full. But I managed to eat the chocolate delice dessert which was really delightful. This was an outstanding menu. Photos of my meal attached together with my husbands pork starter and beef main.

We went to the restaurant for Christmas Lunch. The food was tasty but poor value as the portions were minute. In fact, we had something to eat at night, not the point of a restaurant meal - there should be enough on the plate. We went to last year's Christmas Lunch when the portions were better but still not enough. There should be an improvement on what is being served.

Delicious food served beautifully. The views from the windows are great; you can see most of Blackpool North and the sea. The restaurant decor is fresh and simple. The prices are very reasonable for such excellent food and service.

Food excellent. Students nervous but friendly. My only criticism is they always take the order for the whole table's starters & then mains rather than each person's starter then main as you would normally order in a restaurant. As an ex catering student I always enjoy my visits - especially as I'm not doing silver service!!

Because students are learning you get some lack of attention to detail on orders - especially crucial allergen diligence. Other than that drawback, food is top drawer and super value.

As a teaching college we love coming here. The food was fabulous, good staff even though a bit nerve-wracking for them.

Went for lunch yesterday 4th May ....I go with a group of friends regularly....the food as usual was very tasty BUT the portions were alot smaller than we've ever had before !! This is the first time I was disappointed with the lunch & the only time I left feeling hungry !! The starter was tiny ... poached salmon ...the main .. fishcake was like a fair sized starter....& the Eaton mess dessert had about half a teaspoon of meringue!!!

I came for the Valentines Meal with my husband. The food was amazing and the service was exceptional. We would recommend Level 6 100%. We'll be coming back soon, thankyou.

Had the pleasure of eating hear Wednesday lunchtime. The three courses we had were exceptional. Everything was cooked to perfection in very pleasant surroundings. Well-done all the students great team effort. Looking forward to next time.

The food at level6 is amazing and at a fraction of the price of the high end fylde Coast restaurants. We recently attended the Christmas menu night on the 24th of November and all I can say is it as fabulous as ever We've been a few times now and every time it's been so good and it's all done by the students from showing you ro the table serving food and drinks and the cooking Well done keep it up and hopefully back soon 👍

Just had Spring Lunch Menu with Mum at Level 6 (B&FC). Very warm welcome from front of house. 4 staff serving food and drinks were very polite and timely. Good variety of courses, all presented beautifully. Congrats to all on a great service.

Fabulous meal in delightful surroundings, excellent service and value for money. We have been several times now last year and again this year - prior to that it was over 20 years since I had been (before children came along!) The students and staff work extremely hard and the food and service is as good as any we have had in the swankiest restaurants. The evening last week with Paul Heathcote and Nigel Howarth was amazing and made even more enjoyable by their enthusiasm and information that they gave during the evening. Thank you everyone 😊

We have visited every incarnation of the Blackpool College restaurant from the original Courtfield in Hornby Road through Courtfield at the Bispham campus to the Level 6. In every case we have had superb food and good service. The atmosphere at Level 6 is described as "bistro." We make allowances for the fact that this is a training establishment but the service we receive is better than other far more prestigious establishments.

Booked lunch following receipt of an offer of three courses for the price of two and it is a great bargain. It is a limited menu but the meal was excellent and service attentive. If you can visit at lunchtime, I can highly recommend Level 6 which is situated on the sixth floor of the college and has great views of the Fylde Coast.

Booked for a Christmas Lunch with friends. We have enjoyed lunches here at different times of the year, & the Christmas menu did not disappoint! Imaginative menu, food beautifully cooked and presented as always. Students very attentive, learning valuable skills for their future careers in hospitality and catering. We will be back again, soon.

We had the Valentine's dinner which was a 4 course set menu with bottle of bubbles and coffee and petits fours The food , service and setting was excellent . They even took the cruet off the table after the mains , there was no need at any time for the cruet as all the food was beautifully seasoned

Great food couldn't fault the service

Booked a table at 'Level 6' the other evening for their 'Seaford and Prosecco Evening.' What a really super and imaginative menu! The evening started with a glass of 'Blue' Prosecco to get you into the 'Marine' theme of the evening. Then disaster struck as the fire alarm went off and we were evacuated from the building. The staff were wonderful! They made sure that older guests were helped down the stairs and as it was a cold evening a warm place was provided in another building to sit until the firemen had done their searches. After that it was back to the lovely views from this 6th floor restaurant and the wonderful dinner that followed. We have been here many times before and the food and service is always excellent and tonight was no exception. Although there were no choices the menu was well selected and offered something for everyone. The starter was Roast Celeriac Soup with Scallop, Apple and Tarragon Oil. The Intermediate was Salmon Ravioli with Mushroom and Light Watercress Veloute. The Main was Roast Sea Bass with Brown Shrimp Croute and Citrus Beurre Blanc and the Dessert was Seaside Inspired Delights! Perfect! Well done to all the staff for their service, food and ability to deal with difficult circumstances so well.

Absolutely awful that they are making the students work on a Friday now, it’s ridiculous! I think the students work hard enough to make it satisfying 3 days a week!

What a lovely evening we had. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect a real buzz was apparent. The food was astounding. I have never experienced Indian food like this in my life and it was amazing to meet Laila herself, who came out to greet all the diners. The service was excellent. Amazing, well done to everyone involved.

I went to Level 6 for the first time on Wed 27 Mar for lunch. One of the best meals have had - was their spring menu offering 2 and 3 courses with good choices. Tasty food and. excellent presentation. Can not recommend highly enough.

Third year we have been for our Christmas lunch. Enjoyed our christmas lunch a great deal. We go on a regular basis as well.

As regular diners at the College we find it is the best place to eat on the Fylde Coast.We have found that it is difficult to find a good place to est.There are hundreds of mediocre eateies all over where service and well cooked food seem low and prices high.At the College you always have a variety of menus and the food is a delight.Have been coming for over 25 years when Courtfield was the name and the dining room resembled an Olde Worlde stately Home.It has obviously changed and the lifting of the silver food covers has gone but that can be excused as the food is still of excellent standard.Looking forward to my birthday lunch there on Feb28th .One criticism is thst there should be more days when you are open and then we could come more often.

Went here for the first time for an evening meal. The students were very friendly and considering most had only been studying 6 weeks did very well. The food was great, well presented and a good range of choices (apart from vegetarian that only had 1 of each course). We had cocktails and a bottle of wine at reasonable prices. Views were good even when dark. Will be returning, and recommend.

Fabulous food, great service, also has special nights with gin or wine tasting, highly recommend it. Unfortunately only open in term time for lunch and a Wednesday evening

I went on business meeting. The new menu was in but there wasn't anything vegetarian on the main menu so I asked if there was an option. They came back to tell me it was pea and asparagus risotto.

This restaurant provides excellent food and service. The young people training here are all polite and work very hard to ensure the service is good. The food is excellent value for money and very well presented.

Booked the evening meal at the last minute. I had not been to the BFC training restaurant since the days of Courtfield. My wife and I were very pleased with the efficiency and pleasant service by all the staff. The food was very good. I would consider this to be one of the nicest restaurants on the Fylde. Not the oppulance of Courtfield but still a very nice room with nice views over the surrounding area. Will certainly visit again, which is something I do not say after eating out locally

Very polite staff and excellent service.The food was also very good and ample portions.The price was good as it was 3 courses for the price of 2.Would recommend to anyone fancying a lovely view and good food.

Visited for the first time for a birthday treat. Service great and food excellent! Lovely setting with great views of Bispham. Excellent value for a fine dining experience. Food presented and cooked to a high standard! Will definitely be visiting again very soon.

Esta es la primera oportunidad que hemos tenido para cenar en el nivel 6, ya que Jordania se hizo cargo.

Nos unimos para su noche de degustación de gin, fue muy divertido. Jordania el gerente del restaurante era muy eficiente y amable. una grúa en particular era tan buena que tuve que comprar una botella completa para casa. por favor me mantengan informados para el próximo evento.

Para mí esto es un comentario difícil, principalmente porque tengo para equilibrar el hecho de que el nivel 6 en la ser y FC es un centro de capacitación de catering y nuestras expectativas contra el coste de la comida. Fuimos a lo que era una noche muy tranquila, así que a pesar de algunos miércoles, gran música de fondo había una falta de ambiente con sólo dos mesas ocupadas por un total de 5 comensales. De hecho, sólo dos mesas estaban puestas y el resto en la habitación; todo parecía bastante austera. Nos sirvieron por 2 año, en sólo los estudiantes su servicio 3 restaurante, bajo la supervisión de un tutor. Sólo hay un pequeño menú, así que las opciones son limitadas. Sin embargo, alimentos de calidad y presentación era fabuloso y equitativo a las ofertas que han recibido recientemente en un hotel de cinco estrellas de río crucero. Nuestros servidores era amable y educado, pero abiertamente nerviosos, pero nos quedamos muy consciente de que todo el mundo tiene que aprender. A lo largo de nuestra comida el Tutor era dar dirección y formación. Una comida de tres platos es de £16. 95. La carta de vinos es pequeña, pero la calidad del vino en oferta buena, pero los precios para un establecimiento de alta capacitación. Pagamos más de 17 libras por una botella de Rioja. Nuestra factura total para 2 con uno de café era más de £50, que nos pareció caro para este tipo de experiencia. Mi creo de este Catering College están de los días Courtfield, cuando había manteles, placas laterales y servicio de plata fue practicada. Yo conversamos sobre el Tutor y descubrimos que los empleadores de este futuro en la industria del restaurante ya no busca este nivel en un posible miembro del personal. En general, tuvimos una noche agradable, pero si Nivel 6 quiere incrementar la cantidad de patrón y popularidad, se busca reducir los precios del vino o al menos poner un vino de la casa muy apetecible y más barato en el menú. En general, nos visitará de nuevo después de Navidad para ver cómo los estudiantes están avanzando y para probar la deliciosa comida.

Went to Level 6 with a group of 11 colleagues, the food was amazing. Each course was fresh, tasty and presented beautifully and excellent valie for money. We chose red & white wine which everyone enjoyed, staff were knowledgeable and helpful offering a great service. Looking forward to visiting again soon

Went to Level 6 with a group of 15 ladies for a birthday celebration. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a great view. The food was exceptional and overall a great experience, good value for money and highly recommended.
