Had the levante special here many times and it was always delicious , however something has changed now , at the beginning they always gives you a very fresh bread it wasn't fresh today also before they always gave some olives and at the end offers you a tea there was non of that this time , the other people who came in they all had this and I found it a bit offending , we always go there and spend around 100£ for the food , also the levante special didn't have the breads it had before much less rice. It used to be my favourite however I'll find another favourite place. Like I said I felt offended so it's me done in here.

It was my first time eating Turkish food, and I was wondering what to order, but they made a wonderful plate for me. My sister and I were impressed by the delicious food, which was even better than we had imagined. The staff were also kind, and it became a good memory of our trip. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

I came here yesterday as a last resort for my friend’s birthday and let me tell you, it was a great experience and something that isn’t regrettable . Firstly, the staff were very welcoming and polite, such as the owner, with him offering a kind and deserved smile. Also, his staff assistants, Hossein and Robert really did well and entertain, despite me not being the birthday celebrant (😂😂, but also happy birthday to Hossein too 😊). Secondly, when ordering the food, I was feeling very peckish and indulgent that I ordered mixed grill (wings and lamb chops, with tomato cous cous). Whilst, waiting for my meal, I ordered Bahama cocktail, which was a pre-start up for my meal. Then, when my food came, I ordered another cocktail, which pina colada and that tasted great, smooth, creamy and flavoursome. And my third cocktail, was the hurricane which was very sweet, earthy and alcoholic for me which was good. Thirdly and lastly, the atmosphere was very busy but was good in the way, as it was very busy and generous, but the baby crying absolutely gave me a headache (honestly!). Overall, a great experience to everyone and a good thing for my friend’s birthday, in which they sang happy birthday and lit candles for his cake, so awesome and kind 🤩 ☺️. Well done to Hossein, Robert and the owner. Hossein was very banter, funny and welcoming. While, Robert was very helpful, reassuring and brother-like. The owner felt like my dad, so much that it was golden for him to handshake me well.

This is a lovely restaurant in Lewisham. Delicious food, top notch service. OK it's not a classy restaurant but it's clean, the staff are attentive and the food is sooo good! Lamb ribs, lamb stew and chicken beyti were all so tastey and we're looking forward to going back to try something else from the menu. Yummy!

I had a wonderful experience today at this lovely restaurant. The food was amazing and the water was so wonderful. He took such a good care of us. I had a birthday so my friend gave them a cake and they brought it with a song and candles and made it so special moment for me. I am truly grateful. Then our waiter treated us with free Turkish tea. I will recommend this high class restaurant to everyone. 5 stars from me🙏👍

I highly recommend this restaurant! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home right away. The food was absolutely delicious – fresh, well-seasoned, and the grilled meats were cooked to perfection. The portions were generous too. The cozy Turkish atmosphere really added to the experience.

Great friendly service and delicious food at a good price. The set meal for 2 recommended by the staff was more than enough for the 3 of us with additional dips and ekmek.

So I ordered hummus as well as their Levant special for 1 person from Deliveroo which came with Shish Tawook, lamb chops, wings and kebab. It came very hot which was good. In its own right, if you're a foreigner to this kind of food, it's good. But I'm a student from Jordan studying in London and I felt disappointed. Their restaurant is called "Levant" but the flavor of the food is not Levantine enough. Rather than charcoaling the food, as is appropriate if you claim to serve Levantine BBQ, they seem to have not only roasted it but without the seasoning I'm familiar with as well. The hummus was thicker and grainier than it should have been. It was way more Saudi than actual Levantine hummus. If you want decent food and you don't care about the authenticity of its taste, then go for this place. But as a person from the Levant, the taste was underwhelming. Would not order again unless improved. There are more authentic Levantine restaurants in southeast London.

Just finished a take away from here and it was delicious! We had lamb shish and chicken shish, a halloumi wrap, rice chips and salad. It tasted fresh, was piping hot and so tasty. Highly recommend

For a small restaurant the food is so tasty.

Take Away delivery: Big portion size but doesn’t arrive very hot. Great Mix of food included in mix grill special. Tasty chicken kebab, but lamb shish is a little tough.

First time of ordering from this restaurant. I was very disappointed with the food. Sea bream with a handful of chips, seabass with rice and salad, complimentary bread. The food was cold not even luke warm coming from Lewisham to Brockley. The fish was bland and only seasoned on the part which was cut open and visible. As much attention should be paid to your delivery as that if dining in your restaurant. Sadly with the many other Turkish restaurants in the area, I will not be buying from here again

Delicious food every time we've been, with great staff. We tried the Ezme cold starter yesterday and I have a new favourite dish now! The staff got the balance perfect between checking in and letting us enjoy the meal. A good selection of vegetarian options and I personally love the mains which are served with salad and some dips. Overall a nice, casual atmosphere with food to suit any occasion.

Sometimes the simple things are the best. Meats attentively grilled over charcoal, consistently turned out to perfection. Swollen short grain rice cooked perfectly to soak up the juice. Spicy, tangy ezme. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. A consistent jewel of Lewisham.

Have ordered food for delivery from Levante many times. Always superb, we're big fans of the chicken livers, the chicken stew, beyti, and ezme. There's some great Turkish restaurants in SE, and this is up there with the best. Must dine in one day.

I have made an order. My order was a box full of chips instead of a mix kebab. Hard bread! I contacted the restaurant they were not helpful at all. First had me speaking to two different people who couldn’t hear anything I was saying. Then finally got to the bottom of my missing order they said they will re send it. Then I get a call that they can’t resend it. I have to now chase my refund and me and my child are going bed hungry because this has taken all so long! No customer service, mistake from their side and not even trying to fix it! Now I just chase back Uber eats for refund myself they said. Disgusting!

I’m really disappointed with the food today. The meat was like it was old and fatty and chewy, it certainly wasn’t fresh. I’ve ordered from levante a lot and this has never happened. I literally feel sick right now after eating a meal that we should have all enjoyed.

Every time you order from them you always get incomplete orders. Some food missing also ordered the biggest set and received only a little half container of a salad. The soup arrived cold. Very upset bearing in mind spend over £100. Never will order from them again 👎👎👎

With my boyfriend we coming to this restaurant often . Staff is very welcoming, Hossein is very attentive and always looking after us . Personally, I'm always coming here for their Lamb chops, which is the meal to die for . Service is fast. We'll stay their loyal customers.

I went at lunch time, and it was not very busy. I got a Lahmacun, and a Lamb Doner. Both were quality and tasted delicious. Service was great as well.

Had a really lovely meal here with my mum. The service was amazing, very friendly and attentive. The food was incredible. Definitely the best Turkish around. The starters were good, and the main levante special for one is really good and excellent value. There’s a lot of meat on the platter (enough for 2 people if ordering a few other bits) and it’s all really well made, chicken was juicy, chicken wings are so tasty, lamb was juicy and good flavour, the Adana kebabs is nice and the lamb chop delicious. And there’s also shawarma meat on the platter too. The lachamcun is also good. After our meal they gave us some baklava on the house and I thought that was so kind. Have always really loved this restaurant and happy to say it is still as good as it was many years ago. Prices are also reasonable for the area and today’s general prices in Turkish restaurants.

Done with Levante. It has become hit and miss with them, the quality of meat has plummeted recently and their attention to detail is non existent. Ordered Levante Special (the dish they literally named after their restaurant) and it was burnt end döner pieces, Adana with no taste but plenty of fat and cartilage, chewy lamb chop & lamb shish, bland chicken and plain dull rice, what happened to the bulgur? The only part I remotely enjoyed was the two pieces of wings. The salad is literally a joke as well, no taste no dressing, soft tomatoes and overdone with onions. So now I’ve a barely eaten platter of mix grill in the fridge that I’m not even tempted to eat. Btw whoever managed to make the garlic sauce taste like toothpaste needs to be fired.

The food remains delicious and good value though this restaurant is much smaller than when there was another location near the library. The chicken kebab is not my favourite and should be removed from the Levante special mixed grill.

This place really is a hidden gem, came across it few months ago when I ordered takeaway. My partner and I were blown away by the quality of food as well as the authentic flavours, took us back to when we visited Turkey on holiday. We visited this place again today for dinner, Robert was really attentive and gave us Baklava & Turkish tea on the house! My partner and I live over an hour away from Lewisham but we see ourselves coming back again and again! I very much recommend this place if you want real authentic Turkish food, very reasonably priced and the only place that serves steak chips alongside the platter! 11/10, I never really write reviews but this place deserves it!!

Hussein who introduced himself as the manager is so rude and so full of himself when we just asked what we've been promised before about a delivery that was not delivered. If you can't deliver as a manager, then better not to promise when it was your restaurant's fault that our orders was incomplete

A great restaurant with amazing food. I’m new to the area so I’ve been trying out different restaurants around, but I can say with confidence that Levante restaurant is the best by far. I tried Salmon Tava and my sister got Mixed Shish, and they were both high quality dishes. The lentil soup we got was great as well. While the restaurant is on the small size, the quality of food and service along with an elegant atmosphere more than makes up for it.

This is the second time I have been to Levante, this time I went for lunch with my wife. I have to say on both occasions we received great service and most importantly the food was good. The portions are large as well as complimentary bread, tea and Baklava. You are sure to leave feeling full or even taking some food home. I can say we received fairly priced food in a nice atmosphere. Thank you all at Levante

The food was decent, however we found the service to be quite lacking. The restaurant was not busy when we went, but we had to remind for our tea and desert after waiting for good 20 minutes, apparently the waiter had forgotten our order. Also one of the spoon at the table was quite dirty.
