Popped in for coffee and croissant before doing the Portabello Road soft shoe shuffle.Lovely smooth coffee and fresh tasty croissant hit the spot.Lots of regulars through the door whilst we enjoyed our visit.Great service and value for money. Will seek out when next in the area and buy some flatbreads also as they looked amazing.Thanks.

The pastry chef made almost all the pastry on sale. Both his croissant and almond croissant were good. We tried a sweet made from semolina which was unusual but a tad sweet. He did not make what was our favourite North African covered tarts with pistachios/ walnuts. Reasonably priced and great chat with the owner!

Unsure why another review has labeled them as "Danish pastries". The French and Moroccan pastries are very nice and reasonably priced. Staff is friendly.

This is a regular haunt of mine to pick up pastries 'to go' or meet a friend for coffee and cake. The proprietor is always friendly and helpful and the Danish pastries and croissants generously proportioned as well as delicious. There's a wide range of cakes, pastries and fancy biscuits - all fresh. Savoury eats are also available for a light lunch or snack. There are tables to sit at inside as well as on the pavement when weather permits. A great place if you're visiting Golborne & Portobello market - in full swing only on Fridays and Saturdays - but L'Etoile is there all week.

Amazing food and wonderful dining atmosphere. We got the tiger prawn app and the special that night and they were both fantastic. The homemade pasta and sauces were amazing. The head chef came out and checked on us several times, her food is amazing and she is so sweet as was all the staff. Overall amazing experience and some of the best Italian food I’ve ever had. A must try when in London! They were also very accommodating for our member in a wheelchair. They have a couple tables on the ground floor with the rest being up a flight of stairs. The bathroom was not accessible for a wheelchair as per usual in many buildings in London.
