La Terrazza Kensington in Kensington and Chelsea

Definitely one of the best breakfast buffet I’ve ever tried. A big variety of different fresh fruits with a long with the traditional breakfast dishes, such as scrambled eggs (which was delicious!) and a huge variety of different nuts a long with multiple different dairy and non dairy milk as supplement. Don’t hesitate visiting if you are looking to start your morning the best way! What makes this place a must visit is not only the food but the great and warm energy and service from the very nice italian gentleman named Albino, which makes this place a must visit! I’ll definitely visit this place again when I return to UK. ❤️

Came for a weekend in London with my elderly mom. The breakfast was so good! And the manager and staff were just amazing. Tanin makes fantastic coffee and they treated my mum with such kindness ❤️

The whole breakfast staff could not have been kinder or more attentive, but Tanin stuck out especially. She is so kind and enthusiastic, and so patient with us ordering many things (teas, coffees, other teas, toasts, fussy eggs). She is also so perceptive and sharp that she remembered our coffee orders by the second day of our stay. What a wonderful soul, we are so grateful to her for her wonderful service. We stayed at the Hotel Xenia, and she really made our morning breakfasts so great every morning.

Excellent food and more excellent staff!! Asrar, Deboraj, Ines, Federico and Stanley made our evening very pleasant! The ribeye steak was fabulous!!

Fantastic Christmas lunch. High-quality menu, seriously Italian cuisine, elegant atmosphere, a very good girl played the harp throughout lunch. Albino is the director of the room, very good, attentive and healthily expansive. Chiara, on the other hand, is in the kitchen but we were lucky enough to meet her, she kindly came to introduce herself, very good and very kind. A great choice for a special day. I visited the restaurant la Terrazza and was amazed by the atmosphere and the service. The ambience was inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The waiters were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The menu offered a wide variety of Italian dishes and I chose the Pasta Carbonara. It was perfectly prepared, with a creamy sauce and freshly grated Parmesan. The starter, mixed salad, was also delicious and fresh. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and service. Overall it was a wonderful evening and I would recommend La Terrazza to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine. I will definitely come back!

We opted for a vegetarian meal consisting solely of salads and starters, as pasta wasn't available. The quality of the food was underwhelming and left us puzzled about the restaurant's high rating. Considering the modest portions and lacklustre flavours, the pricing felt disproportionately high. Overall, a disappointing experience.

We went to this restaurant for dinner by chance and we are delighted! The service is great and everyone is very attentive. Olga and Inès were great and very kind hosts. We even went back to enjoy their great breakfast buffet and once again everything was perfect! Thanks to them

I dined at this restaurant 3 times- once for a late lunch and twice for breakfast during my stay in London, Nov 12-Nov 20th, 2024. On these separate visits I was waited on by Alex, Tamin ,and Ria. They provided very friendly service (Alex remembered me from my first visit to the restaurant!) and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was also very pleasant with a lovely view to Cromwell Road. The restaurant was also festively decorated for the holidays.

We found this place by chance for breakfast on the last day. We were greeted and served brilliantly by Albino. His kindness and friendliness will forever remain in our memories here in London. Fabulous. A breakfast and desserts that you absolutely must try. I definitely recommend the ricotta and pear cake and the pistachio caprese, my absolute favorite. A touch of Italian authenticity in London.

Olga our server was amazing!! We had wine and charcuterie and it was all delicious, very good quality meats and cheese. The atmosphere is relaxed and sophisticated, we’ll be back soon!

The whole staff including Tanin, Ripon, Rim, Alex…incredible. The food is absolutely above par and the breakfast is excellent. What a gem of a hotel and restaurant. It is now the only place we stay in London.

This is a lovely resturant that is part of a hotel. It was in the neighborhood we so we stopped in for breakfast. It was very, very good, particularly for a hotel buffet. Even better than the breakfast was the staff. Everyone was friendly and gracious and went out of their way to make sure we were happy, even though we were not guests of the hotel. We noticed they treated everyone that way; it was remarkable service. Especially impressive was the gentleman who appeared to be the manager (whose name I did not get) who treated us like he had known us for years, and a delightful young woman, Tanin, who was an absolute wizard with all manner of coffee. She was outstanding, and the entire experience was great. I don't do a lot of reviews but thus place really stands out.

Perfect. We highly recommend. Top dishes, one of the best Tiramisu I have had the opportunity to taste. A caring staff. What more could you ask for? 5* well deserved!

The team at Xenia were very accommodating and managed to find space for our group of 7 with no booking on a Thursday evening. I had the buratta for starter, ricotta ravioli for main and of course the tiramisu for pud. Sublime food. In particular the ravioli, possibly the best I've had (and I'm old(-ish!!)). Smooth service. Not too slow not too quick. And they coped with our animated conversation and laughter. Beautiful 'little' restaurant. And lastly it was no trouble at all to split the bill as many times as we needed. Forgot to take pics because of having such a lovely time!

Tanin, so friendly, makes an amazing flat white in the cafe. Aria at the front desk was so helpful and kind, very friendly as well. Great staff .

This place is absolutely fantastic! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with live music that truly sets it apart. The pianist was incredibly talented and even played a few of my favourite songs, which made the evening unforgettable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, offering not just amazing food but a unique experience. Plus, there’s a hotel right on the premises, making it a perfect spot for both locals and visitors. I’m already looking forward to coming back—highly recommend! ❤️❤️❤️

We were staying at the Xenia for about a week. We had breakfast every morning. Tanin took care of us every day, providing the highest level of personal service. She felt like family when we were leaving as she gave us a fond farewell hug and a chocolate treat for our trip. We look forward to returning and hopefully seeing Tanin again!

I had the most wonderful experience today with Tanin, who went out of her way to make me a caramel latte, even though it wasn’t on the menu. She kindly asked if I was okay with an extra charge before proceeding, which I really appreciated—it shows great manners and respect for customers. The caramel latte was absolutely delicious, and I can confidently say it’s the best I’ve had in London! Thank you, Tanin, for the amazing service and for making my day with that perfect cup of coffee!

The breakfast during my stay at Hotel Zenia was consistently excellent, with a good variety of food and excellent staff. Tanin, in particular, provided excellent service each morning.

Tanin took care of me over two days and was just lovely. She was very friendly and accommodating, checking in just enough and always with a smile. She was especially helpful with my coffee concoction. At other hotels, buffets are not often as well staffed but this is not the case here and I credit Tanin’s sweet professionalism.

I enjoyed a lovely breakfast here during my stay at the Hotel Xenia. The dining room is charming, full of light, and the perfect atmosphere for recovering from jet lag. The complementary breakfast was a treasure trove of delights! Hot dishes, cereals, and an array of cakes and pastries. The service was excellent—Tanin was attentive, welcoming, and kept my coffee filled, all while circulating throughout the dining area and cheerfully checking in on all the guests. I greatly appreciated this wonderful start to my trip!

La Terazza is located at Hotel Xenia. It’s a beautiful restaurant with great ambiance. The staff is very helpful and great service. The rib eye steak £36 is delicious. The bread basket £2.50 is a mix of 4 types of bread, with olive oil.

Wonderful experience. Summit made all the difference. I was solo dining and he made me feel like I was the only person in the restaurant. Food and ambiance were excellent. Recommend the conservatory for true British experience and the carbonara and tiramisu. I typically do not eat dessert yet this was light and fluffy! Also one of the best martinis. I will return next time in London for food and hope to stay at hotel. Thank you for an exceptional experience!

Came here with my family & it was one of the best places ive been to in London. The food was delicious, especially the special calves liver & the pasta bolognese al forno, not to mention the brownies which are to die for, will definitley be here again as the service and the food was exceptional.

We had a really nice evening in this restaurant. :) We felt like we were in great hands with Olga. She always asked if everything was OK or if we needed anything else. Thank you very much for that.

We stayed nearby and ate here once. Unfortunately that was disappointing. The restaurant was said to have Italian cuisine, but the pasta Carbonara was watery and did not smell very nice. It had nothing to do with the original. When you think you're paying over £20 for that, it's really sad.
