Let Me Eat in Edinburgh, City of

Toute la famille s’est régalée, une grande sélection de wrap et panini très appétissants. Leurs soupes du jours sont super, nous avons pu goûter une soupe thaï aux lentilles corails, délicieuse! Cependant étant la seule végé de tous, je tiens à dire que leur sélection sans viande était très fade, j’étais donc de mon coté relativement déçue. Cela reste cependant un bon quatre étoiles pour l’emplacement (en plein grassmarket) et la bonne ambiance!

Superb, honest and fresh food. Served in a friendly manner, quickly and efficiently. Lovely setting too, and nice and close to the Grassmarket near the centre of the city.

Fantastic find. My wife is Vegan and Gluten Free and they could not have been any more helpful to cater for her. Made a smoothie also to suit her. The guys were all fab and such a great atmosphere. Would certainly recommend without hesitation. A definite place we will be going to when in Edinburgh

Our go to cafe whenever we are in the Old Town. Really friendly staff, nice atmosphere (not too busy, not too small and cramped), and lovely food at reasonable prices. What more can you ask for?

Popped in for a late lunch whilst visiting Edinburgh, panini was excellent, I’d recommend the bacon, Brie and cranberry. Ambiance was casual, and music was jazzy and enjoyable. Very friendly staff who were very accommodating. Food was freshly cooked

This has to be the best meal I have had since arriving in Scotland!! The red lentil soup was absolutely wonderful and my wrap was to die for!! Small quaint place and food is handmade…just delicious!

You should try the smoothies! I had the mango soul smoothie. Loved it! Coffee was not really special but just good. The atmosphere in general was nice too.

What a gem this wee place is, the decor, the staff and the music is superb, but above all the food is stunning, I had a special vegan roll, I am not vegan, but I just love food, so I had 2 vegan sausages, lettuce, onion, tomato on a bed of haggis with chilli mayo, it was stunning, so fresh, washed down with an amazing Latte, highly recommend cafe!!

Absolutely outstanding experience. Had the vegetarian haggis (or was it veggie sausage? Sorry, just remember it was delicious). Saved half for dinner, just as good cold. :) Staff was charming and helpful. Family member and I bought a couple of the cute prints they had for sale, too. Will definitely return the next Edinburgh visit!

Ibamos desesperados buscando sitio donde comer porque se nos había hecho bastante tarde y estaba todo lleno. Encontramos este pequeño local y nos decidimos a entrar. El personal super agradable y servicial, en seguida nos atendieron. Comimos la sopa del día (coliflor, lentejas y espinadas, DELICIOSA) y dos wrap. Estaba todo riquísimo, nos sirvieron rápido y pudimos pedir café para llevar para continuar con el día. Sin duda lo recomendamos, relación calidad precio muy buena teniendo en cuenta que está al lado de Grassmarket (aprox. 9-10 pounds por wrap, sopa del día unos 7 prounds sin no recuerdo mal). Muy recomendable para picar algo rápido. Opciones vegetarianas y saludables

I enjoyed eating my meal at the cafe. The cafe that has the tourist posters relating to Edinburgh and Scotland. It was my first time that I ate haggis covered in wrap (basically a wrap of haggis). Tasty and smoothies were great. Including Irn Bru where I ordered the can and bottle. I would love to come to “Let Me Eat Too” cafe next time when I am in Edinburgh.

The wrap was decent quality and well packed, although did not come with any side salad or similar as we have seen in other places. Nice to see some unusual combinations for vegetarians as well as vegans these days. Cafe seemed dog friendly. Marked down for a couple of issues. Firstly it did seem a little disorganised. The young man did state they were training a new start so that is fair. However for one wrap should not take that long to make, especially as all the other customers had been served. Also I had ordered a chamomile tea which was forgotten so I had to ask again for it. When I did receive it, it was lovely and clearly very natural. Music was nice but a tad loud. Over all it was a nice place but needs a few tweaks to get it totally right. Perhaps we got them on an off day so have not marked them too low.

Really lovely little cafe with lots of options for all dietary requirements. Daily specials were a nice touch. Very friendly staff and good vibes.

Not sure how this place can be so highly rated. We stopped here for a quick coffee break. It's not a particularly nice spot, with zero ambience and indifferent service. Also, whilst the coffee was very good, the shortbread biscuits we purchased were very stale.

Such a lovely quirky place to eat. They had such a delicious and large variety of lunch options. The panini’s were so big but equally delicious. Lots of vegetarian, vegan and meat eater options. Fresh little bakes and snack options, coffees galore and the staff were super accommodating and friendly. Also very welcoming to children. Highly recommend.

Popped in for quick lunch - had paninis - they’ve got to be the biggest ones we have ever had - they were enormous - one would have done both of us! They were delicious and piping hot. Nice little cafe which is well worth a visit.

I went for lunch on a couple of occasions, having noticed some promising vegan options on the menu. Nothing to argue about the food, which was excellent and reasonably priced. Fantastic herbal teas, as well. Sadly, the whole experience was spoiled (on both occasions) by the volume of the background music. I couldn't hear my friend (or myself) speaking, and it was no later than 12PM both times we went. Why the keep the music volume at club levels at that time of day? On our second visit, we very timidly and kindly asked a member of staff if it might be at all possible to turn the volume down, even a little bit. He told us he'd ask, but he was sure it wouldn't be doable. No explanation given for that. After a while, we believed that the music had got even louder. Neither of us will be returning, and it's a monumental shame since the vegan menu really is above standard.

Came here for lunch yesterday with my mum before we went on a tour. Can't fault the friendliness of the staff. We both had wraps which were delicious and absolutely stuffed full. Also their fresh squeezed orange juice is so good I may have to go back a couple more times before we leave!

Staying near the Grassmarket area, my family of four (me, my wife, two teen daughters) were looking for a cafe to start our day. Let Me Eat Too was perfect. Excellent coffee and tea, delicious toasts and pastries, great vibe, excellent music. Perfect! And affordable. Great cafe with friendly staff. We returned three mornings in a row!

We visited twice. Had soup one day, even 11 year old ate it. A wrap sounded tempting, minus the gluten "wrap", so they made it into a salad for us, again even the 11 year old enjoyed it. Gluten free, egg allergic and low dairy family approved.

All day we were looking for some wholesome eats and luckily found this wonderful place. Extremely cozy, friendly waitress/barista and good food. Took takeaway wraps which were completely amazing. Can't recommed it more!

If you are full of pies and fries, then go to Let Me Eat Too on the Grass Market. They have some smoothies to detox your soul and toasties (paninis) toget you through the day. Good food and big portions.
