It was great food and very much in demand. The wait time to get in is too long.

Menu was falling apart, food all came at once, waiter was silent and clearly did not want to be there, beer didn't come but was charged for.....having said that, the lady who took the money sorted everything and took the service charge off with a smile and without a problem.

Really lovely food and great service. Would highly recommend their dim sum - lots of choice and wonderful flavour. Can’t wait to come again!

We had the Bottomless Dim Sum which was incredible and highly recommend you try this. The veggie long bao (soup dumplings) were my favourite. Staff are very friendly and we will be coming back!

Great dim sum first time this Filipina had tried dim sum as they don’t have them in Philippines and she loved them. Well worth the 10 hour flight from Manila.

I came here as part of the ‘time out bottomless deal’ and all in all I think it’s worth it and would recommend it. The service was fast and pleasant. We did 3 rounds (3 plates each, 2 plates each, 1 plate each) and we were left stuffed! The food is nice but nothing amazing.

Good Chinese Dim Sum in Chinatown.

Had a wonderful meal on the Time Out deal here. The service is very relaxed and the staff are friendly. Food is excellent and came out efficiently before we went to go and see a movie. Would come here again! Thank you!

Went early (around 5) after a matinee theatre show and got a table for 2 immediately. Got very busy by 6 with most people booked or having to wait in a long queue. We had set meal for 2 with soup and duck for starter and hot shared starter for 2. Really tasty and as others have said - dumplings are great!!

5 people ordered ‘all you can eat’ hot pot. We got one set of everything and we were told that we could order more after we finished the first set. We finished the first set within 40 mins and we ordered the second round. We were waiting 40mins for the next order and they said it’s time out. Staff on the second floor are terrible at their job. We got the first set twice as they made mistakes, another waiter took it away from our table after 5 mins and tried to blame us for double ordering which surely we couldn’t do it as the rule they set. We told them we don’t eat lamb, yet they still served lamb to the table. We ordered still water but it came in a big bottle and we had to wait for 30 mins to get a glass after asking a few times.

Food was great and we come here often but the christmas menu prices was way over priced 25 for a chow main 7.50 for a can of coke.

Reasonably priced, authentic Taiwanese cuisine. The waiter assigned to us was surly and clearly didn't want to be there. Booked there due to previous good experiences, sadly won't return.

Very cozy place, service was fast and correct. The food was excellent. We left the restaurant satisfied.

I didn't like the dish I ordered, but this is just my personal preference, meaning that the same dish may seem tasty to somebody else. However, that was not the most serious problem we faced there. We were not satisfied with the service at all. We asked to charge our mobile phones for just 10 minutes, but the lady who served us refused and spoke to us in the rudest and most inappropriate way. Moreover, it needs to be mentioned that one of our friends hadn't finished her meal yet, but the same lady gathered her dish without even asking her. That was by far our worst experience during our trip in England. Taking into consideration all the above-mentioned, I do not recommend this place.

Make sure you have a thick skin if you are planning to go. What would have been a 5 star review has become 2 stars because of the awful and degrading service we encountered today. The wait staff who served us today (a middle aged lady) would roll her eyes at us and put on a dark face for simple requests such as bowls for the table for congee, and water. Being East Asian I don't expect exemplary service at these restaurants but this lady was outright rude and made what should have been a happy reunion with some friends quite awkward. The food was really good for the Timeout deal. Too bad that doesn't make up for being treated with contempt.

Leong's Legend is the best place l've been to in Chinatown! Their food is so flavourful, all of the flavour mized together into a savoury dish. The atmosphere is so nice, it really imitates the type of restaurant you'll find in Taiwan. The price is so worth it, so cheap for some food that blows one's mind away. Their menu have many options, each one so unique and delicious. The staff are so kind, welcoming and well-trained. For our family, Ellen was so nice to us, making us feel like the restaurant was our home. The smile that Ellen has makes the space feel so happy, despite the atrocious weather outside.Whenever we needed service, Ellen was always there to help. They gave us a free dessert, for us, which was the best dessert one can ever receive. The taste coated my tongue with it's flavour, and it introduced more food and nourishment to my palate. Will definitely reccomend this place to others, and will be back soon! -俊萊

OK so obviously as expected and as most Chinese restaurants go, you cannot expect 5 star service. But damn, I was waiting to be seated and told to wait, and another patron just barged in and asked to be seated without booking in advanced and was seated immediately. I was too tired to argue so I decided not to complain about it. I finally got seated about 10 mins later and ordered some dimsum and Roast Duck Ramen. The roast duck ramen was excellent and the serving size is generous. But I feel that the dimsum is just not as I expected. The skin is just too chewy, lots of chain dimsum restaurants in China or just anywhere in Asia can do a much better job than this. Overall I feel that this restaurant is best if you want to eat anything other than dimsum.

Extremely good food, loved the Taiwanese differences to typical cantonese/chinese Very light, not overly sugared or salted / MSG etc. Genuinely interesting dishes I'd never seen before like the Oyster Omelette, which was very nice. Can always tell a great restaurant when on the menu it all sounds delicious. Friendly staff. Accommodated us well.with 2 small children. No fuss / simple interior, but has its own charm, bustling. We actually walked out of Golden Pheonix across the road as was really not impressed when sat down (large, depressing atmosphere / staff and food on menu expensive but unappealing). Very glad we did, as across the road was this little gem. Marked service down to 4 as waitress told me the listed optional service charge was not in the final total, so we tipped on top. Putting maths skills to test afterwards and realised at worst I'd been lied to, at best a misunderstanding. I asked for the additional tip to be refunded. Shame, as I was probably about to add some extra Xmas tip. Food though was really good and will give benefit of doubt on the service charge "confusion". Thoroughly recommend for inventive, imaginative, flavourful asian cuisine. Also huge portion sizes, so leave with doggy bag or share plates.

Speaking as someone born chinese in the southeast asian region, I wouldn’t say this is the best dimsum restaurant in London. Dimsum was meh, both for the taste and texture (siew mai and har gao) (3.0 star) The duck ramen noodle was good.m (3.5 star). The queuing system was poorly managed. We were cut in line by two ladies behind us (and no, they didn’t have any reserved spots inside as they had been waiting with us the entire time), despite the usher telling us we would be called next.

Got the Timeout deal which gives you £24 for all you can eat dim sum which is a great deal and really allows you to take full advantage of the variety of the menu. They have a number of really nice dumplings, with a variety of fillings to suit most culinary preferences, however most are pork heavy so just be wary if you can't eat pork. The best dish was the Shrimp Puff which unanimously was voted the favourite in my group and was the only one we ordered in every round! Staff were attentive, explained the menu and were very prompt with reorders. Would definitely return again in future

The food is delicious and authentic, the service is friendly, and the price is reasonable. The black truffle shrimp dumplings and garlic shrimp rolls are very special and delicious. The custard buns really have authentic fillings. I will definitely come again.

We had a bottomless dim sum brunch, the food is delicious and fresh. We tried many dishes and all are very good. The service is wonderful and the staffs are very nice. Highly recommend the dumplings and sui mai, we ordered twice. Definitely will come back!

Wow wow wow!! Absolutely fantastic! The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was just perfect! It was my first experience eating Chinese Food in Chinatown and I was blown away! I’d highly recommend the Pork Soup Buns and a quarter duck - this for two people for a lunch was the perfect amount! I have a milk allergy and they bought all of the items out for me to check the ingredients etc for all of our meals we had requested, so thank you again for making me feel so at ease, when eating here too! Thank you to all of the team at Leongs Legend - I’m over the moon and can’t wait to return😍🤩👏

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant in the heart of London Chinatown. Service was quick and efficient. The portions of traditional dishes like beef noodle soup were impressive and price is readable. Food was tasty and fresh. Highly recommended!

I kept being reminded that I had to finish my meal about 6-7 times. When I ordered the food for the second time, I was told that our chef would take a break for another 30 minutes! Want us to order some! When we ordered, we kept saying that we must finish it! The experience is uncomfortable! When I finally asked him for change, his attitude became extremely bad. Food is fresh but dining experience is not good

Really helpful, responsive and friendly staff! I had to change my reservation due to friends falling sick etc but they were really nice about it. We used the TIMEOUT dim sum buffet voucher- really good spread and I enjoyed the food thoroughly! Cant get such a good deal anywhere else in London. One thing I would avoid though is the black truffle- tasted slightly off/artificial

Ridiculous service. Never seen before. 12% of the bill goes as remuneration for NIL service. Between a waiter who coughs on you, and one who doesn't look at you and cleans the table in front of you to kick you out, I would have preferred to keep this money.

I have been to this restaurant twice on two different occasions. The dim sum are very good and quite varied. The menu is huge but the quality is top! The duck is great.

Been there multiple times and they never disappoint. Everything I have tried has been just Amazing. You will realise its popularity from the queuing outside during peak hours. But they have large seating space so you do not wait too long either.

There is a variety of choice for Chinese food, best place for a homesick me! 💜🤣 Very very nice braised lamb brisket pot and MALA style baked fish (with lotsa bones). But the taste is really good for what we have ordered. Steam rice costs £3.8 each. Coffee is made with 3 in 1 nescafe. Reasonably priced given at London chinatown. Great atmosphere, great interior set up. Will return to try more dishes. Staff recommended braised beef noodle & xiao long pau tho. Total bill for 2pax is 76.61. Inclusive of 12.5% service tax.

Terrific dim sum, with a wide range and some unusual choices. It's available all night, along with a large menu of general dishes. The service is cheerful and friendly which is rarely the case on this street. Being Taiwanese may make the difference. Can't recommend it more highly.

Asian restaurant in China Town, good standard

Absolutely love this place! It’s become impossible to try anywhere else in China town, the food is just too tasty. It’s a warm cosy atmosphere with very friendly staff. Ellen is just adorable :) The food comes quickly and the portion sizes are very generous. All the ingredients are expertly prepared and of high quality. I’ve gradually been working my way through the specials on the menu and have yet to try something I didn’t like. Really highly recommended!

Came here for their all you can eat dim sum deal and it's well worth the £25. Ordered 8 dishes per person which would usually cost over £40!! The minced pork and chives fried bun was my favourite. Would highly recommend.

Tried the bottomless dim sum for £25 and it was fantastic. The deal is more than fair and the quality of food is also wonderful.

Their xiaolongbao is definitely better than Ding Tai Fung in Covent Garden. The all you can eat dim sum menu offers so much value and the quality is definitely not lacking. I have been there twice for the all you can eat dim sum lunch, it was great each time. They have about 8 vegetarian dishes for the all you can eat menu, so it’s great for vegetarians as well.

I've probably been her 3/4 times now. The speed and quality in which the food arrives at is next to none. I don't go for the decore or ambience, I go for the amazing food and you should too!

I spent three weeks in London for work and felt a bit overwhelmed by all the choices in Soho. I decided to try Leongs Legend on a whim, and I was pleasantly surprised! The prices were reasonable, and the food and service were top-notch. Theresa and her team really know how to make you welcome and are great at offering suggestions tailored to your preferences. It's definitely a fantastic place to visit!

Great delicious and real Taiwanese dumplings and nice customer service. We had a friend came late but they understood and let us leave some food on the table.

Probably the best xiao long bao you’ll get in the city and trust me because I’m Shanghainese. Also get the beef noodle soup it melts in your mouth and if you’re organised get the timeout bottomless dimsum voucher. Always a good shout!

This restaurant is located in west London, in Chinatown, next to Piccadilly, in SOHO. It's a must-see for Asian food lovers and perfect for a recovery after a long day of sightseeing. It can't be booked, so if you don't want to wait in line, you should avoid rush hours. However, the wait is worth it. As soon as you get to the restaurant, they assign you a table, you choose whether you're inside or out. The attention is exceptional, the waiters are super keen on you. The restaurant is characterized by its menu in an oriental newspaper version. The menu has a wide variety of dishes, and the prices are affordable. The plans bring a lot of food, and the star dish is the Xiao Long Bao, the best dumplings in London. In addition, you can order it to take away and even take home, which makes it easy for you to enjoy this excellent restaurant on a phone call. In general, I would recommend it to anyone visiting London as a must to go to the restaurant.

Extremely delicious lunch for a great value. The menu has a good range of options although I do think the fried Chicken Dumplings were the best I have ever had. Had to order a second round!

So surprised in a good way with this place. Having bought the Time out London voucher, I wasn't really expecting much but on my. The dumplings were really good and had so much filling, great portions and very tasty. We will definitely be back soon

Some very tasty dishes, some a little disappointing.

We do the Time out 23 pound deal for 90 minutes of bottomless dumplings and a drink. You can choose from wine or a soft drink, had a plum juice. It's a pretty good deal and I got to try some new dishes I've never had! There are also noodles, rice as well as dumplings. Order 3 baskets per person, then 2, then 1. We managed just about 5 each before we were full. Considering baskets usually 6 poundish it's a good deal! Staff were very lovely and friendly!

Everything was ok so far. Service ok Very loud Food ok… well the soup had a lot of fatty meat. The noodles were ok, little but expensive…. Overall only 4 stars.

Personally never again! The food is really not exceptional and it is rather expensive for what you eat. If we had known it before, we would have been in a Chinese "all you can eat", the price would have been more honest and the choice bigger. Claramente, estaban extremadamente ocupados y la comida llegó en diferentes momentos, pero estaba recién cocinada. . . y, Dios, las albóndigas de cerdo eran simplemente increíbles. Nunca he sido una gran persona de dumplings - pero probé uno de mi hija - y me quedé impresionado. Tan bueno. Otros platos excelentes también. Sin duda volvería de nuevo. Muy recomendable.

Service was excellent and the food came out fast! The place was a shot in the dark at finding that one perfect place to fix my asian food cravings and I’m sooooo glad it was this place! Every single thing I ordered, was a 10/10!! I ordered the oyster pancakes (yumm), the XL pork XLB (yummm), and the spicy beef soup with white rice (yummmmm)!!

La comida se cocina por encargo, humeante caliente cuando se trata de su mesa, y de nuevo, delicioso. Fuimos el viernes por la tarde a la 1 pm y estaba casi medio lleno, que es lo que se podía esperar, la cantidad de gente en el restaurante me sentó muy bien y tuvimos una buena cantidad de privacidad y espacio y no era ruidoso en absoluto, pero apuesto más tarde ese día viernes por la noche y fines de semana será carnero así que prepárate, creo que el lugar es popular. De todas formas, fue una buena comida y muy buena oferta y encantador y fresco y los camareros no siguen preguntando si estás bien y no te presionan para que te vayas o dar miradas divertidas así que sí, todo estaba bien... no puede faltar el lugar. Definitivamente voy a lo largo Recomiendo totalmente que es... Sin duda volvería a ir, sin duda.

I love this restaurant, the food was amazing. The pork belly and prawn and garlic spring rolls were to die for. We ordered a mixture and all shared for lunch and it was perfect. Cant wait to go back already know what I'm chosing next time lol and taking more people for sure! 7 dishes AND drinks for £41 each is really good going too. Lovely staff which makes the visit even better.

The Chinese lady who takes our order is very knowledgeable! Overall, I was satisfied as it was delicious. - Beef noodle: The portion is very large. The noodles were cooked well and the broth was fully soaked, so it was delicious. It also has a lot of beef. Recommended! - Dongpo Pork: The portion is very large..22 Teacher Baek said that Dongpo Pork should fall apart when you just touch it with chopsticks, but that wasn't the case haha. However, the scent of the spices was just right, the ratio of meat to fat was just right, and it was very delicious. - Xiaolongbao (pork): Very juicy! It was a bit salty, but I enjoyed it. I wish they would just reduce the salt. - Hagau: It's not minced, but just whole shrimp, so it's delicious! The blood will be more chewy and delicious if you cook it a little less. - Chive hagau: The chive flavor is good, but I think it would be better to eat it if the chives are cut more finely :) - Crab pork dim sum: The flavor is incredible. This is the most delicious when eaten as a single item. However, the taste is so strong that I feel like I will get bitten if I eat a few pieces. - House red wine & white wine: Both wines have a strong sour taste and do not go well with dim sum.

Beef noodles are very salty and require water, but they are really delicious and the portion size is really large. There is also a lot of meat in it. If two people come, we recommend ordering different dishes (rice, fried noodles, etc.) and sharing them. The xiao long bao was delicious but mediocre. There are a lot of customers, so it's noisy and the staff are all busy. Chinatown itself is cost-effective and the taste is above average, so it seems like there are a lot of people at every store.

We went here for the Timeout deal of £23.95 “bottomless” dim sum + drink, which is actually a max of 12 baskets. To be fair we were full after 9 baskets between us, so 12 is enough for most people. Booking with the voucher via email was very easy. However, seems like the staff have been instructed to not smile or be friendly. It was difficult to get their attention to order our food and when they did they seemed to be doing us a favour by taking our order. Food and bills were placed on the table in a rush and we had to guess which one’s which as they didn’t bother waiting to tell us what they were. The dimsum was nice, but not amazing. I’ve been to Chinatown for dim sum every other month and I doubt I will be coming back here.

Really cozy atmosphere. We shared a classic hotpot with tom yum base and we also had a mixed dimsum set. Everything tasted great! Unfortunately they missed our order of dimsum so it came a bit late.
