My HQ whenever I visit London! You sometimes have to queue but their dumplings are very good! The prices remain affordable compared to other restaurants in Chinatown and it is very generous

Brilliant place, the que was well worth it! The quality of the food was stunning, bear in mid the portions are generous.

The worst service, the staff greets you as if they are about to argue with you. They drop the plates on the tables, causing the food to spill. All the dishes were terrible, it’s an entirely overrated place. Every dish was left half-finished, and we left hungry. The dough was bad, the chicken was bad, the filling was bad; the only good thing was the bottle of water.

Pretty good... Dumplings and Dim Sum were amazing, Chicken Satays were not. Nice atmosphere, okay value: I'd go again....

A very popular dim sum restaurant. This is an extremely popular restaurant that fills up as soon as it opens. A la carte is also available. The dim sum is cooked, chewy, hot, and juicy, so it's very satisfying.

beijing dumpling is my favorite restaurant in chinatown- whenever i have friends visiting or I'm in the area, I always take them here because i Know they'll love it just as much as me. My favorite dishes here are the dan dan noodles and aubergine in spicy sauce. Massive portion sizes perfect for sharing - or bringing home leftovers!

Chicken noodles were really good although chicken pieces in them could have been better cooked to suit the overall flavour. Sweet and sour chicken had weird smell. Chicken xia long bao were okayish.

Great standard for dumplings in China town, often a queue but moves quickly, all dumplings are top drawer and the beef ho fun deserves a special mention.

Look we all know London Chinatown is not the best Chinese food, instead it's where you go before catching a show. This one in particular I would call the food above average at best, but the quantity is definitely generous. No reservations so come early or be prepared to wait.

I can't understand how my experience can be so different from the comments I read before walking through the doors. One wonders if the reviews are not purchased or written by a robot, otherwise impossible.. The meats are questionable, the service is cold and unpleasant, the ravioli have a thick and stuffy dough, the broths are tasteless... really it's a mystery. It's actually the worst and most expensive Chinese restaurant I've ever eaten in.

Worst restaurant in a long time. Attracted by the good comments and the fact that they make the ravioli in front of you, we tried the experiment. The ravioli were very bad because the dough was too thick, the filling bland and tasteless. The dishes all had the same bland taste, the portions were much too big and no one advised us on the menu. We asked for water and they brought us a poor glass from the tap without ice. The waiters don't even ask if we found the food good because I think they already know what they are serving is bad. Given the number of positive comments it is surely a restaurant that buys comments on the internet because I don't think anyone can give more than one star

Delicious dumplings! (Dumplings all made fresh as seen through the front window). Would recommend the seafood dumpling especially if you love seafood, the soup inside was incredibly fragrant and flavourful. We also ordered the spicy pork xiaolongbao, dan dan noodles and mapo tofu which were all great. We had to wait outside in the line (about 15 mins) but the speedy food service inside made up for it.

best chinese food I've had in Chinatown. As the other reviews say, the salt & pepper tofu and the veggie dumplings were incredible!

Never had a bad meal here, great for family dinner. Only gripe is the stool to sit on and back, which is a little uncomfortable for a whole dinner.

There was nearly nothing available in the menu for the Gluten Free (GF) person like myself. Waitress has suggested custom dish for myself which I appreciate, but it was pretty average. Can’t recommend.

Service is very good and staff are very welcoming and kind! Tables and inside is very clean too! Food is absolutely AMAZING!!! 5 stars, must try!

Real tourist trap, awful food but cosy interior, in Hong Kong this place would close within a week

De passage à Chinatown, et attirés par les cuisiniers faisant les raviolis devant nous, nous nous sommes laissés tenter par ce restaurant. Bon choix vue la qualité et les prix tout à fait abordables. Le service est par ailleurs efficace et l'ambiance assez familiale. Le fait d'avoir tous les plats en même temps sur la table invite à partager, à découvrir, c'est un vrai voyage entre amis. Je recommande largement, un excellent restaurant de raviolis !

All I can say is amazing! I had the dumplings, seafood soup and salt & pepper tofu. All were outstanding! Service was great as well and prices were reasonable for London. Would definitely recommend you are in the area!

I was hoping for a good meal based on the reviews, and this place delivered. Excellent food and great service. We were there at around 9pm on a Saturday night, and the queue was about 50 people deep. We were a party of 5, and we were seated in about 45 minutes, which wasn’t unbearable. The fiery soup dumplings were outstanding, as were our entrees, and the servers were on point. We’ll definitely go back.

Our meal was really, really good. We choose hot and sour soup and two dumpling dishes. One dish was steamed; the other served in a soup. The. Food was very fresh. The service good. Queues can form at meal times.

This is my favourite place in Chinatown, food is amazing and cheap. Sometimes they have a huge line so arrive early, it is worth!

Admittedly, we pigged out at Beijing Dumpling. Instead of selecting the set menu, 2 of us basically ordered a lot: the crispy duck with the pancake which was divine, the honey pork ribs which tasted fantastic, the freshly made xiao long bao, and the crispy soft shell crab. We also ordered spinach and egg fried rice BUT they didn't serve the order. We thought that they forgot about it but they said they didnt serve because the table was small, but they didn't notify us either. We just did take away for those instead. There's lots of space inside for 1-2 people, however, larger groups will have problems.

In front of the British Museum, I went to Chinatown at exactly the same time as it opened at 12 o'clock. A family of four was in front of us. We had egg and corn soup, crab and pork xiao long bao, and seafood fried rice. The seafood fried rice had crab sticks in it, but the shrimp were large and the squid was just the right amount of flavor.It was very delicious. The soup has a gentle taste and is the best.

A one time visit. Food was just about okay, a little too salty and mild. Service was great and our host was very nice about checking our order for allergies and restrictions.

Overrated! We queued outside for 40mins because of a recommendation. The food was very basic just like any Chinese takeaway. And the chicken had a long hair fried into the batter.

The xiaolongbao is very doughy, but the filling is not bad, but the dough tastes like gnocchi. The chicken and corn soup was too sweet and not the taste of home, which was disappointing. The fried tofu is really delicious. After returning to Denmark, I found that my daughter and her friends also ate at this restaurant. She ate all vegetarian dishes and thought they were delicious. The service attitude is average.

Jjajangmyeon and sweet and sour pork were more delicious than the dumplings.

They marketed Michelin star but definitely not up to the standards of other Michelin stars if true. I classify this as an average Chinese restaurant. Had to flag the staff for service, food was just okay. Egg fried rice was good but the XLB was flavorless. And didn’t have much soup in the dumpling.

Skip the lines, skip the restaurant and save yourself from very very average food (if not bad) .not sure what people are lining up for.

Super clean , nice ambiance , slow service ! Soup dumplings were delicious ( pork and vegetables ) and the noodles were out of this world , make sure you wash it down with a nice Tsing Tao beer, enjoy !

Revisited this lovely and often crowded Chinese restaurant 6 years later! Still serving wonderful dumpling and vegetarian options!

We ordered the duck, chicken & corn soup, vegetable dumplings (once fried, once in broth) and some chicken dumplings. The duck and the chicken dumplings were OK. Everything else was incredibly bland, unfortunately. Like there was no salt or anything. Even the broth was tasteless. Also, the „vegetable“ dumplings‘ filling was 90% glass noodles, and maybe a shred of mushroom. Overall pretty disappointing. And definitely not worth waiting in a queue for.

The onion and ginger beef is delicious. The meat is marinated very tender and the sauce has the flavor of beef rice noodles. The seafood fried rice is also delicious, the pot has good flavor and the flower branches are very soft. The cashew chicken is not too authentic. It's okay. It's delicious, but it just doesn't taste like the cashew chicken I remember. Xiaolongbao skin is a bit thick, average Points are deducted for the environment. The environment is very noisy but the service is not bad.

My #1 restaurant, food always fresh and food is presentable and super yummy. I tried to go to other restaurants around Chinatown to explore & me & my daughter always go back to Beijing Dumplings

Really nice experience here! Thoroughly enjoyed the soup dumplings and the ribs were yummy too. Our waitress was really nice and helpful. Service was fast.

After waiting at the door, one waitress ignored us and then 3 minutest later a waiter arrived to take us to sit down at the basement. The seats were so uncomfortable and so tightly spaced. So we decided to stand up and walked out from the restaurant. They might served good decent food but the customer service and the most uncomfortable seats I will not pay for such a non sense. There are plenty of other good food and good restaurants around, customers Can and Will choose what suit us and make us feel most comfortable. The owner needs to re-think about staff training and re-decorating the restaurant before it'll close down eventually!

Dan Dan noodle was interesting - handmade noodles and a more soupy broth. XLB was alright. Pan fried dumpling was bad - tasteless and they reused old too many time.

A really good dumpling restaurant but other dishes are also very tasty and it's really cheap for London. Great atmosphere and quick service.

We visited London for the first time and chose this restaurant for our lunch. The service was very helpful and friendly. The food was served quite quickly, and everything was very good. We tried several different dishes, and there was nothing we could complain about. Highly recommend.

Excellent dumplings made in front of us + excellent homemade spicy pasta, with atypical decorations. This is one of the best restaurants I visited during my stay in London, thank you ☺️

I would say 3/5 for this place, the food is quite ok but dimsum skin is a bit too thick and hard. The price is quite good compared to other restaurants in Chinatown

(3.5 stars) Perhaps important for all vegetarians: unfortunately the vegetarian dumplings are not recommended at all. The service and atmosphere is really good and also very authentic. Condition was super sweet! I can imagine that the meat dumplings taste better there (unfortunately I can't judge) :) They are also homemade and it is possible to watch the manufacturing process in the window. Tips are automatically included in the bill (10%).

From the menu, they have quite a bit of vegan items (clearly labeled). I only tried the vegetable dumplings as take-away. They were good, but nothing special.

Amazing food! We ordered crispy aromatic duck, dim sum platter, honey garlic ribs, xiao long baos (crab and pork were delicious), and dry fried ho fun which was our favorite!! Totally recommend :)

Amazing food and a nice atmosphere. We recommend the crab and pork dumplings as well as the Szechuan noodles. There is often a queue in front of the restaurant although the tables free up quickly.

This was the first restaurant I went to in China Town and gosh the food was so delicious! Not too expensive and every dish worth it. I don’t have a benchmark to compare it with though as I don’t eat Asian food usually but surely this food was worth setting a benchmark.

Quite good portions. We were lucky to go there before 13:00, because it gets really busy. Service is fast and food tastes good. Just be there early if you don't want to be waiting in a queue

Really basic service, it seems the waitress is already fired. You wait outside in line until you are seated and it seems that the waitress is in no rush to serve. The food was reasonable no more than that. There are vegan/vegetarian dishes

I've been here a few times, and the food is just OK. It's always crowded because of it's prime location, but the food is sub-par in my opinion. Last time I was here, the dumplings were very evidently not fresh. The dough of the wrapper was extremely thick with little filling, not at all chewy, and tasted as if it'd be reheated after sitting for a few days in the fridge!

Had to wait for a bit outside - once we were seated, the waitress came immediately to take our order. Food came super fast. Really like the fried rice - for a dumpling place I think the chicken xiao long bao broth was not that great and our veggie potsticker dumplings were super thick. But overall a nice experience

We ordered dumplings (veggie, chicken and beef/pork). Very very good (the veggie lacks a little seasoning for my taste). Special mention for those with chicken that burst in the mouth!

Dumplings were quite dry. Mapo tofu was bland. Food is overrated here. Service was good though.

WORST dan dan noodles EVER! The young waitress working downstairs is simply HORRIBLE and RUDE with an attitude. I saw her snatch people's menus from their hands like she clearly didn't want to work there and was done with life in general.Tough! I could have ignored that as it's not an easy job however I was expecting the traditional Szechuan dan dan noodles dish but got some disgusting soupy peanut sauce and the soggiest fat noodles. I only had a tiny sip of it before I had to send it back. Major let down! I was so excited to try that place I queued for 20 minutes outside. Don't really get the hype. The dim sum platter was so dry and chewy they clearly forgot about my order on the counter... The couple sitting next to me left all their plates full and when I asked them about it they just shrugged and made a face of disgust. Fire that stupid girl, she clearly hates you all there and hates the customers.

Amazing dumpling spot in London’s Chinatown. Personally think it’s as good or better than Din Tai Fung. Amazing food and atmosphere, great value too.

Awful food. This is the second time I’ve been here. Didn’t like it the first time but thought I’d give it a second try. The two mains were flavourless cornstarch slurry. The softshell crab was 90% batter with crab meat added (first time I’ve experienced that). Avoid

I went because it was highly praised, but it did not meet my expectations. I had tasteless and expensive food. I don’t plan to go again.

The only place in London full of tasteless food where I had a really good meal. I thought I was going to die from greasiness after eating the pasta, so I went in by chance, but the soup was really delicious. It took away all the greasiness and there was a lot of meat. I plan to visit again 🙆🏻‍♀️

My go to in Chinatown... Very tasty pan fried dumplings. Worth going to as a great alternative to the regular places on Gerard street. Staff super friendly...

Best Chinese restaurant in London

We were very disappointed. Ordered appetizers and then soup. Subsequent main courses. In fact, EVERYTHING was brought at once. However, no rice is served with the meat here, and I haven't experienced it yet. When asked why the starters weren't served before the main courses, they said in a very unfriendly tone, "We always bring everything together."

As much as the service can be expeditious and the atmosphere a bit factory, I don't understand the negative comments about the food. I go there every time I visit London. Last time, we ate there twice in one weekend, it was so good! The fried dumplings are killer...

Wir waren schon sehr früh dort, bevor der Ansturm kam in der Vorweihnachtszeit. Wir hatten diverse Dumplings und knusprige Ente. Alles war sehr gut und dass bei günstigen Preisen für London.
