This is the first time I've left food out because I can't enjoy cooking. I love Chinese food, but it really wasn't up to standard, the broth for the dumplings was bland, the dough too thick, the stuffing too greasy, there's no balance, it's a shame

The dumplings were not particularly noteworthy; they were only passable. Even though the crispy duck was much better, it was still mediocre. The restaurant appears to be aged out and in need of attention. I did not like it at all!

Overrated and definitely not worth the wait. The batter on the soft shell crab was super thick. The waitress only apologised and didn’t remove it from the bill when I gave her my feedback, even though it was inedible. The dumplings were okay, but pretty bland in my opinion. From a Chinese foodie who firmly believes that restaurateurs should at least meet basic standards!

Delicious food, large selection, moderate prices, friendly service.

We came here for a quick bite. The xiaolongbao’s were pretty nice and the dumplings in soup were okay. Overall, it was good but not worth the queue imo. Service was quick.

Really bad attitude from the waitress

I've always ordered dumplings for takeaway from their shop and had no issues. But last week, my friend and I went for dine-in. We were served a dish that we hadn’t ordered, so we asked the manager to rectify the mistake. Instead of apologizing, he raised his voice at my friend. Their conduct was extremely unprofessional, and we will not return. This was the worst service I’ve ever experienced.

Fantastic little restaurant in Chinatown. Excellent top quality food, very quick service, friendly. Accommodating for allergy. Suggest booking at busy times to avoid queuing too long.

I’ve been here four times, but today I had a really bad experience with Doby (the Chinese girl with bangs). I felt upset because of her attitude—she was rude and scolded me for not responding right away when she asked to clear the dishes. I was chewing my food at the time, and when I explained that, she told me I should at least nod or do something to respond. It was extremely unpleasant. For this reason, although I usually pay the service charge, this time I chose not to. I think the owner needs to seriously consider replacing Doby.

I'm disguested,the employes are ignoring us And the order took like 45 min so i can just taste some not properly cooked chicken,never going here ever again.Bye

Strongly recommend for traditional Chinese steamed dumplings, and other great stuff. We went for lunch here, at a busy day, it is walk in only, so depending on the day, make sure you are ready for a queue. The line is not that long, and it moves steadily so it’s not an issue at all. Once you are there, it feels like you stepped into a place in China, traditional, basic, but very authentic. Dumplings are. The main dish, nut I recommend trying other sides and of course the tea. Will definitely come back. PS - the best dumplings are the ones with the soup inside. Pork, those are to die for. And you can take a peak of how they make them. Very affordable.

Everything came so quickly and was the most delicious versions of the dishes I’ve ever had. Such good value for London too and the staff were so friendly.

I've been to this restaurant many times, and the food has never been anything short of amazing. Yesterday was no exception—the dishes were delicious as always. However, the experience was overshadowed by one of the waiters who was shockingly rude. I asked a simple question about the dim sum platter, since the menu doesn’t specify which flavors or types are included. Her response was just “prawn.” When I tried to clarify my question, she abruptly started yelling “prawn” over and over, interrupting me and refusing to let me speak. I felt incredibly disrespected and almost attacked over something so minor—it was uncomfortable and completely uncalled for. I’m giving two stars instead of one because, toward the end of our meal, we were helped by a different waiter who was kind, attentive, and professional. Her service helped salvage what was otherwise a really upsetting experience.

Outside from the window you can see the chefs making dumplings fresh which was nice. The food was amazing! Highly recommend Four season beans with mince pork and dan dan noodles. We had crispy seaweed, xiao long bao(chicken and pork), dan dan noodles, dumpling plater and four seasons beans with pork. The chicken xiao long bao didn't have soup though. The spicy pork one had soup. The bad thing was that the top of the dumpling was too thick. Between 3 people they gave a 2 person table and added another stool. It was a bit cramped but other than that, everything was good. We payed about £60 for 3 people which is a good price.

Brilliant Chinese restaurant with a great selection of dishes. The food comes very quickly and the service is efficient. Very tasty dishes.

The xiaolongbao were amazing! However, the soup dumplings (also the fried ones) had a very thick skin. Not so tasty. There’s basically no service.

Food was quite disappointing. I didn’t do any research on what the best dishes were to order (my bad) and the waitress basically didn’t recommend anything when I asked. The Dan Dan noodles were really good. The peanut soup was delicious. Everything else was either bland, too sweet or gloopy alcohol tasting.

I have visited this restaurant several times and most of the time I had a good experience. Recommendation: Seafood noodles, salt and pepper squid, sp seafood rice, soft shell crab were really good and I enjoyed it. I am not sure about the supreme seafood dumpling, dumplings in soup and Szechuan Dan Dan Noodle. It could be cultural preferences as well but for me they were something that I would never order again. Despite that, it is an affordable restaurant in Chinatown with good food and fast service . I have seen queues on multiple occasions.

We had a great meal. The pork dumplings as a starter were a bit too big and overcooked (but the filling was very tasty), but we really enjoyed the bao (pork and chicken). Our main courses (pork noodles, sweet and sour chicken, and Szechuan chicken) were excellent, with well-balanced flavors. I found the portions quite large and not too expensive. We were very happy with our choices!

Very tasty food at reasonable price. There are good varieties of dumpling and regular dishes. At dinner time, the line can be up to 20 people. It's worth the wait.

Good restaurant which seems really authentic, we stood around 30 minutes in line on a Saturday. We only had different dumplings since we love them. The taste was great although our big favorite definitely were the pan fried dumplings. We can recommend the place.

A restaurant renowned for its excellent ravioli. We spent £44 for two. We came here for lunch after a lovely visit to Soho and we were not disappointed.

I loved the food & the service was the cherry on top! Kobi served me and she was wonderful! I recommend the prawn noodles & the spicy pork dumpling.

London, Chinatown. Nice option if you want something accessible (quite cheap in terms of prices) and tasty. Many dishes from dumplings to noodles. The quality of the dough is not bad. Light and not very thick paste. I can't say if the filling is of incredible quality. The chicken dumplings are good and the quantities are right. The chicken inside, however, doesn't seem to be of the best quality. But it's okay. Still good and accessible place.

Delicious dumplings fresh, hand made in the window. The crispy duck is a huge portion , moist, crispy, fatty and moorish. Prices are much better than the competition at £18 for 1/2 a duck and dumplings from £1-2 each. We waited 20 minutes to get our table but I bought a beer in market next door and they let me finish it at the table. Very quick and friendly service. Hard to find fault and we paid £30 for 2 Hungary people to be full including service but no drinks.

I see long queues outside this place all the time and know they are popular partly because of its price point. I was in the area mid afternoon and hadn’t had lunch, so I thought I’d give it a try, as there was no queue. I love xiao long bao, it’s a must have for me when I see it on the restaurant menu. Yes, for £8.50 (for a basket of 8), it is slightly cheaper than other restaurants around here. But I find the quality significantly lower. The dough was thick and heavy and the meat filling course. I would rather pay a few quid more for proper xiao long bao. I also tried the seafood supreme dumpling. The taste was good. But again, the dough was heavy and completely stuck to the tray it was served in. Overall, it was fine for a quick lunch, but I don’t feel an urge to return.

Unfortunately, although the food at was quite good (this was our fourth time there) our experience was marred by an issue with hygiene. While we were eating, we discovered a *small mouse* among my baby belongings, which caused us great discomfort. We informed the *manager*, who offered us a *discount for our next visit*, but we felt that this response was not adequate given the severity of the situation. While the food itself was excellent, the lack of a more serious response regarding hygiene and the handling of this incident left us very concerned. We cannot recommend this restaurant until proper measures are taken to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the establishment."*

What a wonderful find this was, beckoned in by the host from the street , me and my friends had a wonderful meal and first class service at this resturaunt. Highly recommended

Food arrives quickly and I like the check list way to order. All the food is absolutely worth the wait to get in! Highly recommend the garlic broccoli, schezuan Dan Dan noodles and salt and pepper chilli squid. I’ve been here a good 10 times and it’s never disappointed

…*Update again*… still cannot find better than Beijing Dumpling 🥟 it’s the ONLY place to be. For new years celebrations, for monthly / weekly escapes … even my daughter has decided there is no other and she opts for the queue rather than going anywhere else! Updating review after trying every other dumpling restaurant in China town and other parts London, can now say for sure Beijing dumpling is the absolute best!!! Only problem I have found is that nothing tastes as good once you have had the best… so have to keep going back here

Disappointing experience! The coconut curry chicken and beef dishes were quite blend. The dumplings were ok. The salt and chilli squid was the worst with a weird taste and smell of bleach which not even the batter and salt could hide. I have the strong suspicion that it was not fresh to begin with and probably cleaned with a bit of bleach before cooking it The manager removed it from the bill after arguing with me and added that next time I come here I should not choose this dish asserting there was nothing wrong with it. I couldn’t care less and will not be eating there again anyway.

My teen and I had a great experience after this was recommended as a to-go spot. The queue was expertly managed and we got a table downstairs with only a few minutes of waiting. The dumplings, aubergine and chicken udon (my son asked for a substitution and was warmly accommodated). The deep fried crab was covered in too much batter and a bit oily for my taste but everything else was scrumptious.

Fast service, great food, nice atmosphere. A nice vibe but not too loud that you have to shout at your friends so they can hear you. Highly recommend a visit here. Worth coming for an early dinner (630pm or early) otherwise you may be lining up for 20-30 minutes.

I'm not an expert on Chinese or Asian cuisine in general. However it was ... bland. Most of the food tasted as it wasn't salted at all. So not something that I'd expect. Pork and chicken dmplings in soup are pretty good - but instead of soup you get a bit of hot water in a bowl - no tase whatsoever. However, the chicken dumplings are filled with just chicken. Nothing else. Again, it's very bland, plain.

Delicious, freshly made dumplings, highly recommend. This restaurant is very popular and often has a queue outside. I've seen negative reviews for this place because of "rude waiters", but they aren't rude, they are simply just trying to be efficient and serve food quickly, so expect basic but quick service.

The best gem in Chinatown, great prices, fast paced, and amazing food!

Located in the Chinatown area, they do not accept reservations, and there is always a bit of a queue waiting to be seated, because it is renowned as it was included in the Michelin guide several years ago. Varied menu, the freshly handmade ravioli very good, the fried rice instead tasteless and the noodles not good because they were probably cooked in a pan dirty with other food which altered the flavours. Average prices and fast service. Overall recommended.

Love this place! Their Dan Dan Noelles are an absolute knock out! Ford is rustic and drinks menu is limited but the flavours and dumplings are worth the wait. You won’t be disappointed!

Delicious food, well presented, good service and quick attention

We always come here when in London and never disappoint. Service is quick and they will provide you everything you need, food is always good, great homemade dumplings and one of the best Mapo Tofu. Also amazing ribs and chicken, can’t recommend them enough 👍

I saw the line and spoke with a regular that goes to Beijing dumpling. So I waited to have a few dishes he recommended. I also noticed that the restaurant was a Michelin star back in 2018. I was disappointed! I have been to many restaurants that specializes in hand pulled noodles, from China, Vancouver, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Malaysia . The dumplings heavy and really doughy! If the dumplings have a thinner layer of dough for the dumplings. It would taste better and perhaps more chewy! The restaurant may need to revisit the recipe and adjust the ingredients in the dough mixture to return to the days of 2018. The staff are courteous and friendly! The atmosphere is good! Adjusting the recipe will help bring back the Michelin star!

A nice dumpling restaurant. A few of the dishes were a little bland for my taste (special fried rice and the soup dumplings). But I enjoy the panned fried dumplings and garlic broccoli. The service was nice and the restaurant was clean and cozy. But the food was over priced for the quality.

On all our previous visits we only tried dumplings and these were excellent by Chinatown standards. This time we tried other dishes- eg Tom yum and were not impressed. If you go there stick to dumplings).

I used to go to this place all the time but this time there was a small food pebble came in my mouth while I was having my dumpling, I called the waitress who was serving me and she said that she is gonna report it to the manager but there was no response and when I called the manager, instead of apologizing he was just arguing with me unnecessarily knowing that the serving waitress saw everything. These kind of people make your day bad when you are there to enjoy with your friends. All the things is evident that this place have a very bad hygiene food control. I wouldn't recommend this place and would ask the food and safety department of London to run a check on this place

My HQ whenever I visit London! You sometimes have to queue but their dumplings are very good! The prices remain affordable compared to other restaurants in Chinatown and it is very generous
