Never had a bad meal here, great for family dinner. Only gripe is the stool to sit on and back, which is a little uncomfortable for a whole dinner.

I was hoping for a good meal based on the reviews, and this place delivered. Excellent food and great service. We were there at around 9pm on a Saturday night, and the queue was about 50 people deep. We were a party of 5, and we were seated in about 45 minutes, which wasn’t unbearable. The fiery soup dumplings were outstanding, as were our entrees, and the servers were on point. Admittedly, we pigged out at Beijing Dumpling. Instead of selecting the set menu, 2 of us basically ordered a lot: the crispy duck with the pancake which was divine, the honey pork ribs which tasted fantastic, the freshly made xiao long bao, and the crispy soft shell crab. We also ordered spinach and egg fried rice BUT they didn't serve the order. We thought that they forgot about it but they said they didnt serve because the table was small, but they didn't notify us either. We just did take away for those instead. There's lots of space inside for 1-2 people, however, larger groups will have problems.

In front of the British Museum, I went to Chinatown at exactly the same time as it opened at 12 o'clock. A family of four was in front of us. We had egg and corn soup, crab and pork xiao long bao, and seafood fried rice. The seafood fried rice had crab sticks in it, but the shrimp were large and the squid was just the right amount of flavor. It was very delicious. The soup has a gentle taste and is the best.

It's delicious, but it just doesn't taste like the cashew chicken I remember. Xiaolongbao skin is a bit thick, average Points are deducted for the environment. So we decided to stand up and walked out from the restaurant. They might served good decent food but the customer service and the most uncomfortable seats I will not pay for such a non sense. There are plenty of other good food and good restaurants around, customers Can and Will choose what suit us and make us feel most comfortable. WORST dan dan noodles EVER! The young waitress working downstairs is simply HORRIBLE and RUDE with an attitude. I saw her snatch people's menus from their hands like she clearly didn't want to work there and was done with life in general.Tough! I could have ignored that as it's not an easy job however I was expecting the traditional Szechuan dan dan noodles dish but got some disgusting soupy peanut sauce and the soggiest fat noodles. I only had a tiny sip of it before I had to send it back. Major let down! I was so excited to try that place I queued for 20 minutes outside. Don't really get the hype. The dim sum platter was so dry and chewy they clearly forgot about my order on the counter... The couple sitting next to me left all their plates full and when I asked them about it they just shrugged and made a face of disgust. Terrible Experience at Beijing Dumpling - Avoid at All Costs I recently dined at Beijing Dumpling in London, and it was an utterly disappointing experience from start to finish. The food was simply disgusting. The dumplings were poorly made, with thick, gummy wrappers and bland, unseasoned fillings. The other dishes we tried were equally unimpressive, with overcooked noodles and sauces that tasted like they came straight out of a can. Everything lacked freshness and flavor, leaving us wondering if any care was put into the preparation at all. The staff were extremely unfriendly and made the entire visit even worse. From the moment we walked in, we were met with cold stares and a complete lack of hospitality. Our server seemed annoyed by our presence and was unhelpful when we asked for recommendations or basic assistance. It felt like we were an inconvenience rather than valued customers. Overall, Beijing Dumpling was a complete letdown. The combination of awful food and rude service makes it a place I would never recommend. Save your money and dine elsewhere.

Cozy homie style restaurant with comfortable seating. Small but good menu. Vegetarian spring rolls and wasabi prawns, amazing! Sea bass, chicken with cashews and the wagyu beef was my most favourite main dish. Lobster noodles, a plain and boring dish. All mains came at once and we shared everything. All dishes were served on the same plate, which I would recommend changing. Chris was a very nice and attentive Chinese waitress. Price was reasonable

Saturday lunch, the restaurant was empty - unsurprisingly as it turned out. We ordered prawn crackers, a quarter crispy aromatic duck - ok-ish but nothing special. The crispy pork (Harbin signature dish) was dry and tough. The steamed prawns in their shells were vastly overcooked: dry, rubbery and flavourless. Both main courses (at c. £23 each) came with no vegetables, just the protein. The prawns were served with some vermicelli. The egg fried rice was £6.50!!! We complained about the mains (especially the prawns). The waiter said he told the chef, who replied that that's how the prawns should be! With a coke and a beer, the bill came to £90. On the plus side, the restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated. The toilets are nice and very clean. Unfortunately, the food is badly cooked and overpriced. We won't be going back.
