Leon in Uttlesford

LEON was super busy, but it was easy to order from the electronic kiosk, my food took 3 minutes to come, and the guy at the counter stopped to wish me an enjoyable meal. And.... I got the new"Hot Honey GFC gluten-free chicken nuggets". At £7.99 out was an ok price, and... it was fresh, hot, spicy(!) and delicious. A great meal and overall experience. Probably my third meal at LEON, and a dining must for me in UK airports. Thanks guys.

I had an avocado and halloumi muffin and every aspect of it was so bad. Don't waste your time and money.

Staff are very pleasant but the food was terrible and expensive. I would not recommend this place under any circumstances

My expectations were not high at an airport restaurant, but despite being incredibly busy on the day I visited my falafels and chicken special main course were excellent. I will return next time I come to Stanstead.

Leon is a brand I enjoy but unfortunately as with most restaurants in Stansted airport, they are not as good as high street or the busy city outlets. You would think that given how busy it is the food would be fresh and turned over but my breakfast box was a little jaded having sat on the servery area for a little too long. The food tasted good but the beans looked a bit congealed. That said it is probably one of the better food outlets but does not deliver in the same way as it’s non airport colleagues.

The food here is alright. I had the plantain curry but it was overly mild and lacked a bit of flavour. The jack wings are a disgrace. Why call them wings when they have none of the characteristics of wings. Thought I would try them but was left disappointed.

I had never heard of this place so we gave it a whirl. We tried the vegan burger with fries and it was an unexpected pleasure. The style of burger was similar in flavour and texture to Burger King. Not as cheap, but that's the price you pay for healthier food made with natural ingredients. The other menu options - felafel, salad etc were also enticing. Will definitely come again next time I fly via Stansted.

I wanted a quick bite for an early lunch before flying. This is what we need more of. Lovely fresh salad with a zingy dressing. Pity they don't do a sprouting seeds version though. Having said that, this filled me up for seven hours. This is the difference between fast, rubbish food and fast, quality, healthy food. Will be back next time.

My bacon and egg muffin was ok. Not good, not bad, but ok. Coffee alright. Overpriced but what do you expect for a captive audience at an airport? The one major negative was the seating - it was extremely cramped as per all of Stansted and you have to physically brush past people to sit down. It's reflective of a really horribly designed airport - the crowds so busy in way too narrow winding walkways, you need to allow extra time to get to your plane once past customs.

Came here with hope of finding something edible among usually poor food options in Stansted Airport. Ordered: Moroccan meatball box The food was full of flavour, original and a much healthier option than food in other nearby places. The service was great and quick (most important thing!) Price was great as well - the place was just unexpectedly great.

Came here for breakfast. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food looked and tasted fantastic. Is limited with table seating but otherwise would definitely recommend!

Ordered a chicken sandwich at £5.95. Looked nothing like the picture and had obviously been sitting there sometime. Was supposed to come with fresh tomatoe but that was missing. Even the worst McDonalds would have been better than this utter garbage. Would have taken it back and demanded a refund but flight was called. Please do NOT eat here the sooner they go out of business the better. I have travelled through Stanted about 40 times over the last decade and this is by far the WORST food ( using the word food very losely ) I have ever had !

Cold chips and sloppy fish finger wrap with far too much mayo. Could barely taste the fish. My son's chicken burger was nice but apart from that very disappointing!

The Halloumi wrap has an awesome flavor! Our very picky son even liked the lemon chicken tagine! I had a falafel wrap this time. Delish. This Lebanese family will definitely be back!! We heard there's a Leon at the airport (Heathrow's Terminal 3?) and at London's King Cross station.

Why did I even bother with this place. The prices are reasonable but the food is horrible. Very chaotic, ok I know it is busy first thing in the morning but when you have staff shouting and running around, it doesn't really give off a good vibe to the place. The seats are a bit uncomfortable. Ordered a salmon and egg muffin and what I got was absolutely vile. Raw salmon that had a very strong taste and they put a sauce on it that tasted horrible absolutely horrible. The all female staff are friendly enough but this place needs major overhaul on the menu and staff training.

Leon is a great place in Stansted to get a satisfying bite to eat which manages to be both tasty and healthy enough, leaving you feeling much better than the usual options. All the tables by the walls have powerpoints for charging devices, too! Nice...

Grabbed a bacon muffin & coffee on a business trip. The menu said "simply bacon" but it had ome sort of BBq sauce/jam in it. The muffin was cold & the coffee the worst I have had at Stansted. Avoid.

Was looking for a light meal before my flight. Had a black bean hot box for £4.25. Really correct for the price. Vegan friendly.

Having had to get up at stupid o'clock, queue at the bag drop off, queue to be inspected by the security jobsworths and finally search for the airport part of the shopping centre we needed something for breakfast. Leon turned out to be surprsingly good....

Came here to have a light snack before my flight. I had a delicious chicken burger, way much better that many other places! The chips were quite bad so I would only stick with their burgers.

The coffee here was utterly terrible. If you love being disappointed at life, this is a perfect option. Enjoy your crappy day.

I had not been able to try Leon's version of healthy food as there is not a restaurant near us. I was really happy to find one in the airport so we could eat well before boarding and not have to rely on junk food...
