Lovely people, lovely shop but the food was awful. Cold, hard and chewy. Meant to be a treat but it was so disappointing

Not the first time I’ve got cold food from here. For reference I live OPPOSITE the shop, please tell me why my food was cold when I got home. The cheese wasn’t even melted because the chicken was cold. To the point I couldn’t even eat it.

Food was good. We both enjoyed it.

Very poor, ordered a portion of six hot wings and cheesy chips. Wings were cold and tasted off, spat them out and didn't touch them again. Don't want to risk food illness. Cheesy chips were okay but served in a box with a paper liner over the chips so all the cheese stuck to the paper when opened. Suspiciously, they have a grey bedsheet hanging up to block off the view of the back kitchen so that customers cannot see the back. Whats being hidden as I haven't seen other takeaways do that? First time coming here and never going back, Chicken Treat and Leighton Grill is much better.

I have ordered from this place a few times now and some of the food is quite nice. I would like to point out the chips were cold and overcooked. Also chicken pasta portion is really small for the price with a couple of strips which again were slightly overcooked.

Amazimg food. Tastiest ever chicken. I live in Luton that is centre of best chicken chips but When inate their chicken fried & grilled both I found it more delicious that one anywhere else. Customer service is great too. Highly recommneded.

Food is good, great portion sizes but so spicy all flavour is lost through the spice. we have tried twice now and the chicken burgers and boneless chicken so spicy the children couldn't eat it.

Terrible food. If you are having toilet issues go here and you will do just phone and will spend 25 mins on toilet. Cheap quality food, odd staff, bad atmosphere. Did I say terrible food. Please leave Leighton buzzard. We don’t want you here. The food here has pretty low standards and you have some how managed to lower the standards completely. You are a disgrace. Me and a few other people are speaking to food standards agency and also the local council about having you removed from our town. Your food is not at human consumption levels.

I would rate this minus 5 if I could. Absolutely disgusting. Chicken was tastless, greasy and raw. Felt absolutely ripped off as food was un eatable and thrown away.

burger was ok , but the wrap had one chicken strip in there surely they have some shame?!?!?! the chips weren't fresh the guy tried to charge me for the sachet of ketchup...what a joke!

It’s time to leave Leighton buzzard guys. Your food is disgusting. Chicken skin was thicker than the actual meat, slippery, greasy, tasteless food. How dare you come to our town and feed us this. Your staff are rude, the chicken is poor quality, the hygiene is not great, the flavour is strange. Leave us. You know it’s bad when Leighton buzzard gives you 3 stars!!!! Leave!!

Don’t order from here. Chicken pitta tastes like soap. Popcorn chicken is dry and has no flavour. Chips taste like microwaved cardboard. Haven’t got a sniff on Leighton Grill

This Shop is a very good place to get chicken at, the food is good a, little bit on the spicy side but it is delicious and i would recommend people to go here, the staff are friendly and the wait for food is reasonable, overall a good place to get chicken at.

It’s my humble opinion this take away restaurant is better than KFC in Leigton buzzard and the children agreed.The chicken wings are wicked!!

chicken burger was all dry. I wouldn’t call this a chicken burger. So tough & no chicken. I won’t be coming back.

Average food but place was full of youths shouting,swearing and generally being very anti-social……restaurant manager didn’t seem too bothered and should have dealt with it much better. We won’t be going back.

Ordered ribs and popcorn chicken. The chicken was dry and flavourless whilst the ribs had the same smell and taste of tarmac, with not a bit of meat on them. Was unable to finish and just left on the table.Thr staff were lovely but the food was rotten.

I loved the food - it was so delicious! The peri peri chicken was fresh and tasty. I never ate anything like this anywhere! The chips were so crispy with all purpose seasonings. Also, the place was so clean and bright, looking amazing. So, my family and I enjoyed the food so much. Good luck! Keep it up!! 👍👍🥰👍👍

OMG the food served at this shop are all so good👌🏾👌🏾 I indulged in the bold flavours and spice of the wings that were on another level😋😋 Also, the peri peri chicken was incredibly succulent😍. My meal was served fresh and hot. Customer service and hygiene was excellent that I had an amazing experience and I enjoyed my meal comfortably. I would recommend this shop to everyone👍🏾 and I'm definitely coming back again!

Chips were great but chicken peri peri strips were dry, tough and the sauce was not great. Hopefully will improve but not a patch on Leighton grill. Excellent service and clean shop

Ordered 3 meals but had missing items so had to go back (drinks and coleslaw) also they didn’t have one of the meals ready so just gave me something completely different, but didn’t say anything just boxed it up and put it to the bottom of the bag!! No apology so one of us had to go without! Will not be going back there again - the staff in there couldn’t care less - I will be going to Chicken Treat in the future the staff in there are amazing and if they get something wrong they put it right.

Went in there today and ordered a chicken fillet meal. The staff are friendly but the chicken fillet burger on the other hand was a disgrace. The fillet burger like over cooked flat and when I tried biting the burger it was like biting a old leather boot. Not impressed.

Had been excited for the opening of a new fried chicken place in Leighton, well this place is lush. The mozzarella dippers were so fresh and the flavour of the boneless chicken was yummy! Will definitely be ordering from here again, ps get some nice garlic sauce and chilli sauce and I’ll order all the time LOL

Only gave us half of the order and the half they gave us wasn't great. Shame as the first order we had was good.

Pleasant and clean environment with friendly staff. Food were fresh & tasty and the portions were good enough and reasonably priced. Would definitely visit again.

Had the half chicken and rice. Price was reasonable and food was close to Nandos! Will be making a return next week.
