First of all. A friendly dog greets you as you walk in. So if you are scared of dogs this isn't for you. Although I can't imagine anyone being scared of this chilled happy dog. Coffee is of a great standard. Prices aren't cheap but in line with other coffee shops. Close to the train station of you have time to kill.

Brilliant coffee, friendly knowledgeable staff. So refreshing to go to a coffee shop where they actually care about the coffee. Best coffee I have had in ages.

I’m not in Leicester often but when I am I make a point of visiting here for the amazing coffee and delicious home baked cakes with gluten free options. I’m going to buy their coffee beans online when I next need some - shame I can’t buy the cakes online too.

The guys here take passion and pride in sourcing and roasting their own great coffee beans. Trust me you didn't know coffee tasted this good! To add to that.. home made cakes that leave nothing to be desired. Best coffee spot for miles and miles.

Miserable morning - lots of rain - this place always warm and welcoming. Was wearing a Xmas jumper with a reindeer on it - when my delicious coffee appeared with a reindeer picture on the top🦌 Incredible - artists as well as the finest baristas!!

Was on a short trip to Leicester Tuesday till Wed, and wanted a coffee and cake fix. We peered I through the windows, and couldn't tell if there was a seat or not, but were warmly greeted at the door and welcomed in. I had a decaf latte and hubster had a mocha. I chose the apple and almond cake, and he had the bakewell. Wow 👌, both delicious and lovingly baked by the owner. They also have a delightful little doggy who was well behaved and very cute 😍. A lovely coffee shop, with owners who take the time to be warm and friendly. Topped off with delicious cake and coffee....what's not to like? If I had one little request , it's to get some Victoria Sponge done, but that's my personal preference. My only regret is that I didn't get the apple and almond cakes to take home!! Delicious x

Always a welcome here - including from the lovely dog! Best coffee and tasty home made cakes and biscuits. Will call again on our next trip to Leicester.

Found a quaint little coffee house in Granby Street Leicester. The customer service was very outstanding from the staff and credit to the manager. The Latte was amazing and done to perfection it was creamy and frothy and was worth finding this little hidden gem. If you come across this little gem please do go in and get a coffee and support the business. I will most be certainly going back to get another one.

The coffee was exceptional, and whilst it was £5 for a filter, it was worth it die to the quality of the coffee. Knowledgeable, honest and friendly staff, who are clearly passionate about what they do, and the quality of the coffee. They are not open over the weekend, so very kindly, suggested the Coffee Obsessive, as a place worth visiting, and I did, and it was. What makes it even better, is that they roast the beans themselves. Very impressive.

After 12 long hours standing up at work on a night shift, 40min agancy bus trip home (it was late to boot) and a no show by my normal bus i opptied for a taxi home but stopped here first, and was instently cheered up by the welcome dog, he/she was very friendly and lifted my soul after the long day I had. The owners (of the cafe) are really nice people, welcoming and kind. The mocha/choc browny was amazing, will 100% be back

Never had a good espresso until I came here. They roast their coffee right there in the shop. Offering truly home-made cakes (the rhubarb one is beautiful!). The 2 staff there are so lovely and accommodating. Did I mention the coffee truly is amazingly good?

The tastiest coffee in town, hands down. The owners have a puppy, which I love! Nothing like a puppy to make the atmosphere great. Homemade desserts, a lot of vegan options, and even the cows milk is received from a local farm in glass bottles and then returned back, ensuring that the cows do not live in bad conditions and the waste is much lesser! They roast their own beans, which is also great.

Friendly, welcoming and run by coffee enthusiasts; their coffee and cake are quite simply the best. A relaxing atmosphere (and Tommo the dog, too).

The coffee house prides itself on the quality of its coffee and does not disappoint. Really excellent cups of coffee with good friendly service. The cafe was very clean and neat. We had a porridge each for breakfast. Reasonable prices and highly recommended especially if you are a coffee lover.

Third visit here now, had 3 different coffees and without a doubt the best coffee in Leicester. Cakes and sandwiches amazing too!

Went into a Coffee Shop in Granby Street before visiting this place. I knew there were two coffee shops in Granby Street recommended by the Mercury and had tried one and wanted to try the other. Went into a Coffee Shop in Granby Street with Baristas in its title and assuming the was the other one, asked for a Flat White. It was not a Flat White nor was the second attempt offered by someone senior. Such a disappointment.As I left there and wandered towards Kayal where I was meeting people, saw this place and KNEW it would have been the other place recommended by the Mercury. Aaron was closing up but was pleasant and enthusiastic about his coffee and he agreed to make me a Flat White so I could be reminded of how one should taste. Bliss!I'm about to order some of their Mail Order coffee but I will certainly go back to the Coffee Shop as well as telling everyone I know about it. Brilliant!

Though small and easily missed in a busy street with dozens of eating places,look out for the Coffee House's sign and pavement seating. Every day at least two different estate-grown coffees from around the world are roasted and ground on site and offered in at least half a dozen wonderful drinking forms. The home-made sourdough sandwiches and cakes are unbeatable, especially as the local long-term favourite cafe, Brucciani's. has sadly now closed.

Dropped in here on a Friday afternoon with a friend. Coffee is fabulous and you get a really genuine and warm welcome. Resident dog is also a lovely addition! Loyalty cards available and nice looking cake on offer.

Best coffee I've had in the U.K. Great place to have a sandwich, you must try the sour dough. Good selection of cakes. Couldn't meet a friendlier dog. Definitely coming back.

We went here for lunch and I have to say it didn't take long to choose what we wanted as there are only 3 sandwiches on the menu, all veggie. The sandwiches were nice but had no frills - just 2 slices of Hambleton Hall bread, a layer of cheese and some veggies. No side salad or extras but only £3.60. Good selection of coffee and tea. All very simple and clean. Very friendly staff. And a super little dog called Tommo! If you're especially into your coffee or love dogs then it's a must visit.

What can I say? Gorgeous vegan carrot cafe and amazing hot chocolate. Great WIF. They looked after me so well as I was a visitor to the area. I explained to them that I was in Leicester to see the historical and religious building and they explained all the best places for me to go. Tommo the cafe dog is so lovely and friendly, and he remembered me again the next day when I was on the way to the train station! I will return next time I'm back in Leicester! Totally recommend.

Had a lovely and unusual South American coffee. Lovely toilets! The room is a tad too small and not great for private conversation.

My husband went here today, had a delicious flavoursome Ethiopian long black. Fabulous stripped down interior, enjoyed a chat with the proprietor. Highly recommended. I will be visiting soon!

A friend and I popped in for a quick coffee during a trip to Leicester. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming, and the coffee itself was absolutely delicious. It's clear he has a passion for what he does and is very good at it to boot! There were a selection of cakes and savoury treats on offer as well which looked great, but we didn't try them on this occasion. I'd definitely recommend a visit if you're a coffee lover or just fancy a chilled out place to spend an hour or two. I'll definitely be back!

Went in this morning around 8:00am, the lady who served me was extremely polite and very welcoming. I ordered a mocha and it was delicious - not a very coffee person but it was just right! She also advised me I can get 20% off because of where I work. Would definitely recommend this coffee shop - looks cosy inside and very decorative. Would visit again for more mochas !!!!

A welcome addition to the coffee scene in Leicester with a bare brick and wood decor . Excellent coffee and tasty vegan treats too!!
