Sorry to say that our meal was disapointing, It was greasy and didn't have much flavour in our opinion. Hence, we gave up and threw most of it in the bin! Don't like the sneaky add ons to the bill, yes a deliv' charge expected but not service charge

Delivery time quoted was up to 50 mins. I called the shop after 70 mins to be told that the food hadn’t left yet, despite the app saying it had already been delivered. I was assured it would arrive within 5 to 10 minutes. Driver eventually arrived 95 minutes after placing the order but he hadn’t got our order. I called the shop & I was hung up on twice. I was eventually told that I couldn’t have a refund because the owner was on away holiday! Repeatedly called “dear” despite asking them not to.

food is good, unfortunately this is the second time it's been delivered 30 mins late, yet the restaurant mark it as delivered before it's even with the courier. a real shame but likely won't be back due to this.

Our delivery was late, and onions and peppers weren’t cooked enough, but the chicken was amazing as usual, it’s a shame as Leeja do the best food in town just a bit off this time but we will use again and hopefully it’ll be back to there usual standard

Christmas portions were ridiculously small, service was slow and the temperature was so hot it was uncomfortable. They ran out of turnkey so halved the portions but kept the price the same.

Didn’t taste the food if only ? Rang at 7.45 told would be an hour (which is understandable on a Saturday evening) at 9.30 rang to see where the food was at , was told 2 minutes away but asked what we’d ordered ? Then at 9.45 rang again to cancel as at this point we were starving and just wanted to throw a frozen pizza in , then at 10 said order arrived we said we cancelled no sorry or discount offered , rang up and asked to speak to the boss and all he said was you cancelled I can warm it up for you and deliver it now ! NO THANK YOU! Won’t be ordering again poor customer service

Food was nice, however the delivery driver had a pretty rude attitude and for that reason I won't be using Leeja again and wont recommend . There are plenty of other nice takeaways in Hinckley that use polite drivers.

This place has gone down in terms of quality and service. Went in and ordered a takeaway, on the menu I had taken in with me (no date on the menu and I had this in front of the waiter to point out what I wanted) 2 of the items we ordered had naan bread included, so I ordered 2 more naan’s, a garlic one and a plain one. We got home with 2 naan’s, but we’re missing the 2 extra I had ordered, so I rang the restaurant to explain but they were rude, not friendly (come to think of it I did say to my husband when we were in there and I asked to pay the waiter was quite rude in his manner and just kept saying “sit down “, no please or, your order will be with you please take a seat-he told me to sit at least twice) they passed the phone to other staff members who accused me of not ordering them. They were not interested when I told them I ordered from my menu in the restaurant and 2 were supposed to be included anyway, they just kept saying the dishes were not inclusive of the naan’s and I got what I ordered, not very pleasant at all. On top of this the 2 we did have were both plain and the chicken in one of the dishes was that dry we couldn’t eat it. The raita was lovely! Won’t be visiting again especially when there are others nearby that are cheaper.

Excellent again. The whole evening was lovely. The staff are so friendly yet again. Very busy but they worked hard to serve our drinks and meals. 10/10 for the best curries we've had in a long time.

Been going here since the 90’s, both restaurant and takeaway. Food is always pretty good. Service also good. But I think I’m done now. Drink prices are ridiculous. One beer, double vodka and Diet Coke, and a Diet Coke. £21.30. Sorry, but overcharging on the drinks has lost you a customer.

It said it was delivered and it hadn't been I called and they said it hadn't even left the restaurant yet. It was already a long time to wait

Sadly the food was cold. The taste also wasn’t great, some tasteless and some over spicy. The Naan bread and chips were ok but all had to be reheated.

A few weeks ago i called for a takeaway delivery. But even tho they new me cos i inquired about price very politely he told me to go and order from somewhere else and cut my call off before i even had the chance to ask wat i did wrong. Since then I've not called or gone back to them. As the saying goes after years of good REPUTATION. SOME TRADES DON'T CARE AND LOOSE THE QUALITY NOT OF FOOD BUT OF RESPECT FOR CUSTERMOR. I THINK THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN CUSTERMOR IS KING NO MATTER IF UR ANYONE RICH OR POOR OR WAT UR STATUS IS. I WILL NEVA GO THER AGAIN. PS I DID GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND IT WAS PERFECT WEN THERS AT LEAST BETWEEN 20 AND 30 RESTAURANTS AND FOR THAT REASON AS ALLAN SUGAR SAYS YOU'RE...

I originally ordered a meal for one but having a misses, she ate half as well, we both loved it and order again from this place

Asked the customer service if one fried rice would be enough for 2 people and the guy replied with a yes. So I ordered 2 fried rice and it barely had any for even 3 people. Tandoori chicken was alright for me but was undercooked. And everything is less. £28 and it wasn't even worth it. Even a pizza that's Large can last 2 days of dinner. This barely had any for a dinner. Asked for receipt but sadly they didn't have any. The website prices seem to be wrong as it felt like I was charged for delivery as well although I'm in Hinckley(meant to be free). Tandoori chicken X 2(£19.9) and fried rice X 2 (£5.9) totalled to 25.8 but was asked 28.75. P.S didn't carry receipt even though they are supposed to. I work in a food restaurant too and I know that you should keep receipt with you in case the customer asked

4 years since my last visit but nothings changed, food brilliant, service top class. Have no fears about recommending this restaurant. I definitely will not be waiting another 4 year's for my next visit

8 of us had a sit-down meal last Tuesday 4th July which was very poor. I questioned why I was only given a small bowl of rice when takeaway meals have loads of rice. The waiter was rude and stated that I wasn’t having a takeaway so see won’t be going again

Has to be one of my favourite Indian restaurants, since moving away from Hinckley it’s been a good few years since we have visited so was looking forward to visiting and enjoying some amazing food. My sons and I enjoyed a great meal on Friday evening, somewhat spoiled by an aggressive group from a local company Cavendish Nuclear (parent company Babcock International) who decided they didn’t want to pay the price for the meal!!!! This was all at early in the evening, 20:00hrs to be precise so not late and clearly certain members of the Cavendish Nuclear party couldn’t handle their drink. The staff handled the situation very well but unfortunately the language and threats made by members of the party from Cavendish Nuclear to myself and other diners put a strain on our experience and what should have been a relaxed atmosphere in a great restaurant. Hopefully the restaurant owners will be writing to Cavendish Nuclear regarding their staff’s behaviour and sharing the CCTV footage of the individuals concerned.

Absolutely exceptional for the 30+ years I've been going there, never had a less than sublime meal, and there is not a single bad dish on the menu. My favourite is the Naga Chicken paired with a cheese and chilli naan, both very tasty and the best naan breads for miles around. The service is always superb, very friendly and attentive, but not overbearing. Value is also amazing in my view, normally £60 - £70 for 2 people which includes poppadoms and dips, plus 2 or 3 drinks each. The best Indian restaurant in Hinckley by a mile, in my opinion, the best for many miles around.

Only criticism was the lamb was a little tough

Not been here for a while, as one of the longest established curry houses locally I was a little bit disappointed with the quality of the food, not as good as it used to be. All good, but also a bit overpriced compared with elsewhere

having been a customer both at the restaurant and for takeout for several years have to say last night I was really disappointed with my order. The food we ordered we have had before,several times, but last nights was not up to the usual standard in fact my husbands was very bland and everything was cold when it arrived. We ordered poppadoms and it was clear that only 2 had been made at the restaurant the others were like what you buy at the supermarket. Really disappointed in you Leeja was no where near your usual quality. We have decided we will order again and hope this was a one off.

Ordered food to be delivered at a set time. At 15 mins late called to be told it was on the way. At 30 mins late were unable to get through rang out or was hung up on. Still waiting over 40 mins no food and no answer Will no longer be a customer after years of using them

No order after 2 hours, tried to ring restaurant but no answer. Ended up driving there myself to see what was going on, food wasn’t even ready and had to sit and wait for another 20mins while they cooked it. Joke of a place

Ordered an hour in advance, for 8pm delivery. At Half 8, no food and don't answer the phone. Terrible service.

My wife & I ate at the Leeja Wednesday night. Very clean, traditional, beautiful inside Indian restaurant. Staff were helpful & attentive. Food was freshly cooked hot & absolutely delicious!

Always been a good one. I grew up down the road and it would be my go to for a curry. It’s been a goodun for over 25 years (yea I’m old now) and pleased to say it’s still good. Well done. I hope Leeja succeeds for many years to come.

Still not arrived and after 13 calls, still no answer from the restaurant, I understand there's busy spells but don't accept people's orders and money upfront if you can't or aren't going to deliver it!

The food was delivered to someone else and the replacement delivery arrived over an hour late. Thank goodness we ordered early else would have been a very late dinner. Not helped that when it finally arrived the driver never apologised for the delay and the food was cold. All in all not a great experience. Shame considering we've had good food from them before.

Amazing food was out of this world! So tasty and the meat was tender!. But I think my booty whole will hurt in the morning after all them spices! But over all 10/10 couldn’t get better!

Awesome food as always, scheduled the delivery for 8:35pm when the missus got home, was 30 mins early which was a problem...

Very disappointed this time. It was my 3rd order from them. Two were great and tasty. Today very bad, fries cheewy, not fresh, poppadoms overcooked and smelly, mango sauce diluted with water, horrible.

Excellent. Couldn’t ask for better service / quality. Highly recommended.

Collected a takeaway tonight, food was great, hot, tasty, good service, also eaten in a couple of times in last few weeks and good experience, Leeja has been very consistent when others seem to struggle.

We had a lovely time there. The staff was very attentive and polite. The food was excellent. The naan bread was so light and fluffy. Yam! I couldn't finish my meal but brought it home.

That was amazing! The combination of flavours, different taste with every bite. First time we have finished our food with such an enjoyment! First order but definitely not the last.

It's a shame really. I have never had a bad meal from leeja but this time it wasn't great. Food was on time, it was hot and tasted fantastic, however... the duck was so incredibly overcooked. It was tough and chewy and essentially inedible. I usually have lamb and it's always perfect but decided to treat myself. Wish I'd had the lamb now
