Leahs Place in Wolverhampton

Went here recently as I was passing through the area and on the hunt for vegan places to eat. It was choos6e to closing time but Leah was happy to let me sit in which was appreciated. I can't remember exactly what I had; a curry of some sort with rice and peas and plantain. The fake meat was something I'd never tried before. Such a great texture, and the flavours were just what I wanted.. including the brownie to go.... Leah was real friendly, happy to chat and tell me about the menu (changes every month) and was even a super Nintendo with Street fighter 2 and super Mario kart (I've still got the moves..). All in all I was really happy I took the chance and went there. If I was local, I'd be there weekly..

A great vegetarian\vegan restaurant which for my first visit I was extremely impress with. Slightly off the main Dudley Road I had no idea that this restaurant had been there for 15 months. The food was flavoursome and nutritious plus generous in portion. Definitely be back there again. Even brought and extra meal to go after eating there.

Whether you have a plant based diet or not you will enjoy the food at this place. For those that enjoy meat you wont even notice the difference and for those strictly plant based you will love the fact that you can have anything on the menu. You can eat in or takeaway your meal but I highly recommend eating in if time permits. Its a lovely relaxing, welcoming environment and as such you will frequent the place regularly. It is family friendly but also a lovely place to eat with friends. Its like a mini London, off the beaten track bistro/café but in Wolverhampton. the menu changes enough for you to have choice and variety. You can have your main meal but also dessert, smoothies, soft drinks etc. Go there try the food and leave a shining review after for others to go too.

Leahs place is the first 100% vegan bistro in wolverhampton. I have been there a few times since it opened. The food is fusion caribbean soul food and it is divine and full of flavour and texture. The cakes are decadent and moreish with a coffee. The staff are alert and friendly. The ambience is chilled out and they have old school computer games to keep the kids occupied.
