Expectations high but of course reality low. Ordered a jerk chicken wrap but had about an ounce of chicken in it, the rest was just rice, also ordered coleslaw with it but that didn’t appear. Lastly ordered seasoned fries but they didn’t get delivered also. £30 bill on Uber about a fiver’s worth of food.

The young lad with the dreads seemed like he had chip on his shoulder. I ordered the large mutton and rice and peas which were meant to come with coleslaw but only came with steamed veg, on the plus side there was loads of meat which I actually expected less. I found it a bit uncomfortable just sitting in there on silents while eating.

Mutton curry and oxtail lacked flavour. Chips was soggy. Lack of veg, got a table spoon of veg. Missing dumplings for the one meal. The upside was the dumplings and banana cake with custard was nice.

Honestly the lady on the phone was so kind I feel bad for having to review so low but the food just wasn’t it. There really wasn’t much flavour to anything besides the rice which was kind of just more spice than anything. But really lovely customer service. Thank you :)

On arrival i was told some of my order wasn't actually available and was only given an option to take a completely different replacement item in place of what I'd actually paid for. I also had to wait another 20 minutes after the time they said it would be ready for collection. The food was ok but I've had a lot better Carribbean food alot better priced. £20-30 here will get you what £15-20 would elsewhere in my opinion. I'm pretty sure you pay for the brand at this place and it ain't all that.

One item, coleslaw, was missing!

Oh my days. Aunt Sally’s you did not disappoint. I’m from Aldridge but over that way today and googled Caribbean’s in Wolverhampton whilst sat in the hairdressers having me roots done. You came up five stars for food standards so I thought I’d give it a whirl and surprise my partner with a bit of goat. WOW. Not only am I freshly blonde, with no washing up to do, but my partner is oohing and ahhing over his curried goat, three sides and a bag of jerk chips. All for a very small cost of 14 quid. I’m fairly sure he’s about to propose. Staff serving were superb, nothing too much trouble. Brilliant sized portions, massive! We’re gonna Netflix and ‘chill’ now, like literally, as we’re too stuffed for anything else, and then hit the rest. See you in six weeks when I’m getting my roots topped up and a Mrs not Miss.

I asked for no steam veg they sent it anyway. I ordered 2 fried dumplings . They were as hard as rocks couldn't even break into them. never had any problems b4. never ordering again .

I originally lived in wolves now I live in Northern Ireland. Where I live there’s no Jamaican food so I’ve been proper hankering some curry mutton and fried dumplings! Ordered from Aunt Sally’s today and the food was bangin’!!! Proper hit the spot! Food was full of flavour the meat melted in your mouth!! I’d deffo recommend Aunt Sally’s to anyone wanting Jamaican food! 5* from me!!

Why in God's name do they call their brown stew chicken as such, when it doesn't taste anything like it. Salty, and a very strong cheap bland gravy taste was all I experienced. I don't know who cooks their food but this wasn't anything like brown stew chicken. Never ordering from them again

The food was very tasty....lots of rice with no sauce...and no dumplings tho...disappointing...which should be included with my meal....delivery was on time....would order again...but will check my order next time.

Dumplings, Meat and sauce was really nice but the rice tasted burnt, tasted like cigarette ash.

Second time collecting from here after a recommendation and it didn’t disappoint good food portions and quick service not having to wait long to get my food .. will be eating from here again without a doubt

I bought food last Monday through deliveroo I paid nearly £12 in total for food and a can of pop the delivery driver turned up and there was no can of pop so they charged me for the pop but failed to send it, i called and called but they did not answer the phone, wont be buying from there again not happy at all.

We are regulars here but the last 2 times going there especially today as I treated my hubby for his birthday i have spent just under £50 (large meals) to hardly get anything we actually paid for. It's always the same boy who does this every time even when I repeat it twice just do we don't get ripped off, future reference I will be avoiding him serving me from now on as it's a lot of money for get next to nothing.

Im always ordering via Uber and I was never disappointed with my husband my fav is jerk chicken with steam veggies and rice the portion it’s really good and always fresh and tasty also goat was really good.

My first visit to Aunt Sallys! Met by a polite young man named Jerome. He was enthusiastic, efficient and very polite. You can eat in comfortably, nice decor and atmosphere! The food was fantastic! I had Mutton, Rice Peas and Dumplin and I cannot complain at all! Mutton tasty and tender, correct proportion of sauce to rice meaning I ate the whole meal! Very impressed well done Jerome and Aunt Sallys! I will definitely be back soon!

ordered online and was told to collect at 7.15. arrived and said they were busy, 15 minutes later were asked if we wanted the food hot. drinks we ordered were out of stock and dumplings missing from the meals. awful!! worst Caribbean takeaway i have ever had, Saltfish and Ackee was NASTY!!

Almost an hour late delivering. Food was stone cold and had to be reheated. No dumplings on any of the meals. No salad as requested on one of the meals. We recommend this place to friends and we’re so shocked at the quality this time it left us embarrassed. No answer from the restaurant despite numerous calls. How are you supposed to rectify these issues if you can’t speak to anyone?

Appalling. An hour late and when I tried to call the restaurant no one answered and sadly when it came it wasn’t even worth the wait. The food was plonked together and a side was missing. Meat was tough and the chicken was mainly bone. Felt as though I needed to pick through my food because of the amount of tiny bones, even found one inside of my Mac and cheese and the fact that this was solid means it didn’t just fall in there and got in there during the cooking process.

My first time visiting Aunt Sally's and certainly won't be my last!! Curry goat, rice an peas, mac cheese, coleslaw, brown stew chicken, and hard food for me and my friend (sounds a lot right; we were hungry, lol) Generous portions, warm welcome with great customer service, the meat is halal which I have found in Wolverhampton is quite uncommon and best of all..the price!!! All of this for under £30 I could not believe it!!!! It tasted amazing; ALL of it tasted amazing. Only went in for soup ..came out with a beautiful piece of fish 2 festival 1 dumpling and a guiness punch... Great service and the food was even better I will defo be back...👍🏾I wish I would have got a meal now..

Succulent mac and cheese, the rice and peas was good and so was the oxtail although some of it was not fully cooked the sauce made up for it it was delicious. Good portions ,delivery was early and the food was hot. Would definitely recommend

Best Caribbean takeaway in Wolverhampton. Since partnering with Uber eats the service is a lot faster which is great! One time i noticed plastic in my food, but it was only once and it normally is very good.

Sorry about my lack of knowledge of the menu but when the restaurant called to let me know they lacked a menu item I wasn't fully aware of items of the same value due to me being a new customer so I stumbled. I didn't mind Pasta and a different type of fish being included as a replacement and I am very appreciative you let me have different price items for a smaller or larger value as the replacement and I appreciate polity the curiosity. I also am happy with the pineapple soda and glad I already mentioned that in the note before I placed my order to also save on further confusion. It has been a busy day at College 😅 so when something goes wrong when I'm down and relaxing my mind tends to make Freudian slips 😅 Thank you for understanding Ash

Amazing, chicken was sooo tasty and the sauce was to die for, defiantly order again soon!

I had to give 1 circle to allow me to write this review, however I would have given absolutely nothing. If you want real West Indian food, go to Handworth as we only came here because they were closed. Food was bland, chicken boiled with some thrown in oil and chilly. I had to add salt to the rice - give me microwaved uncle bens any day over this. kfc/or even a Maccies. Save your money, or only go in for a bottled drink.

Nothing special. 3ml of oil on top of the mutton curry. Flavour not the best. Meat however was cooked nicely along with rice. Asked for veg. But they may aswell of not bothered putting it on. Mac and cheese the size of a kids meal. Overhaul. I wouldn't go out of my way to order or visit this restaurant/takeaway

Terrible just terrible if they are going to charge for food and charge a service charge too first learn the art of cooking, presentation is also key Also double check order before delivery driver picks it up, as there were a couple missing items

The food is absolutely beautiful

Aunt Sally’s is one of the best Carribbean restaurants in the West Midlands. The taste and quality of there food is awesome and their customer service is great. *SHOUT OUT* to Jerome who went above and beyond today, keeping me informed about changes to my order and serving first class meals even under pressure.

As always total perfection yum!

The food was absolutely fantastic. Eating it I felt like I was right back home in the Caribbean. Highly recommended!! I had the stew chicken and fried chicken with hard food, rice and beans. So so good!!

The best Jamican Cuisine I've had so far in my life out of this world I can't wait to hit this spot again soon big credit to all staff for the friendly welcoming hospitality. The fruit cocktail aswell! Smashed it probs one of my fave drinks I want to make a deal and take loads at some point. Food was amazing and it's such a gold spot with those city centre vibes whatever time of day will bring joy to all. The only bit I would say is maybe just slightly stronger cutlery but apart from that I am so so happy I have found this Gold spot again everyone hit it up for the best ever Jamaican Cuisine one can experience. The food was great, most of all the oxtail made to cooked in perfection. Overall a satisfying customer.

I ordered goat meat and I did not like the smell when I opened the container. The goat meat was overcooked and very stringy. Definitely not a good experience. I do not recommend.

My food didn’t turn up. I call the shop and no one answered.

Ordered the hake which was extremely greasy, dumpling and rice were okay, slightly odd taste. Mutton was cooked perfectly and chicken coco bread was good. Quick service.

Ordered delivery service via Uber Eats. Ordered Curry Mutton with rice and vegetables, mac and cheese, pineapple and coconut cake with custard. No vegetables were in what I received at all and there was no evidence of either pineapple or coconut had been in the same room let alone actually put in the cake. The delivery driver was rude, instead of ringing the buzzer on the main door called my phone to tell me she was here. I explained that I had ticked for delivery at my door when placing my order but she refused to deliver my food to my front door. I am therefore very sad to report that I received neither the food I had ordered nor the level of service expected.
