This is such a cozy cafe! The atmosphere is great, really good music, very friendly and kind staff, and good food and drinks. We'll definitely be back!

Glum barista took my coffee order, stared into space and coughed over the milk, coughed over the machine, and stood there coughing over the coughee. She wasn't ill, just someone with appalling personal hygiene. I'd paid (too much, this is not a cheap place) and just walked out. No point waiting to pour it down the drain. Nope, never again. Would not trust the kitchen if front of house is this lacking in awareness.

Was just walking past on Saturday and popped in here as it looked nice, plants inside etc. There were clear staffing issues from the start, new staff seeming unsure what was going on, part time staff seeming bemused and confused. I don't blame the staff, but the service was appalling. Took 30 mins for my food to arrive, no cutlery. 5 minutes later, my friend's meal arrived, still neither of us had cutlery. Then 5 mins later our cutlery came. About 20 mins later our tap water came. Then once we had asked 3 times, and 30 mins later (two of us having already finished our food), my other's friend's lunch came. One of the things she'd ordered was a juice in a bottle from a fridge behind the counter. Even THIS came an hour after ordering, despite asking probably about 4 times in total. Requested a refund for the third meal, felt sorry for the part time staff, but got the refund in the end. Everyone in the cafe was complaining/ unhappy, awful vibes. At least the food tasted nice.

There is a a very rude barista/server who needs customer service training. She is surly and refused to change the milk for my coffee order

Working at home now on a Friday, I normally have a treat, take my laptop and do some work. This is a local coffee shop. Nice decor. I liked it. Seating is mainly for solo diners or parties of two. There is indoor seating and some tables outside too. Wifi was not too fast at all. Limited sockets but it was nice to get a coffee, brunch and do some work. Many others were doing the same. Order at the counter, pay and sit down. I had a black americano and the savoury chia waffles with a fried egg. The waffles were beautifully presented and freshly made. Delicious and filled me up for a long time. They have a good menu. This is a really good place for vegans. Nice cool light music. I have marked them down slightly as the one girl could be friendlier. The other girl was pleasant. Some of the tables needed to be cleaned. They were certainly not busy and had time to do it. Not cheap but a price you would expect for the area.

Nice place to work on your laptop. The savory waffles were delicious and the lattes were okay. It felt a bit overpriced, but maybe this is the way it is in London. Friendly staff. I would recommend it if you're limited with vegan options and wanted a place to hang out.

Lovely vegan and gluten-free options! Coffee wasn’t the best but everything else was lovely. A little bit expensive but it’s nice to support a local coffee shop rather than go to one of the million Prets.

I popped in as I have been doing for the last year on either a Tuesday or Thursday . Sunny day asked for a chilled latte . As I have had previously with no problem . Met with a blank expression , and asked you want coffee with milk , there was only me and one other customer in which surprised me as normally the seating outside is full , I stated again I had had a frappe there many times before , when a male voice from in the back of the room said “we don’t do it “ I said again I had had it before again the voice now louder and surly said”well we don’t do it now “at no time did this person make themselves known or even visible , I replied look out for your review , I have supported this local cafe for over a year albeit only once a week on my trips to London even though there is a Pret coffee shop less than two minutes away , Which is where I went getting served politely with a friendly smile There is obviously a change of ownership or management which is such a shame as although the coffee is more expensive it was good to support a small buisness , Well done to the loud voice that couldn’t even be bothered to show his face Another regular customer gone !!

Cold attitude from workers - Coffee tasted horrible, sour, not warm enough, and the waiter made us wait so he could serve new coming “girls” - bread was super hard - poached egg overcooked - humus was very sour - and the decor / pricing is off ! AVOID THIS SH*T SHOP!

We were super excited about a new place in the hood that serves organic food. The smoothie was good. The coffee was awful in taste. After kindly addressing it to the waiter, he never returned. The bread was old and hard, the poached egg overcooked. The brand themselves as super organic etc. But while we were there the owner ran across the street to buy some stuff from Tesco. Unfortunately there’s not much behind the concept. Definitely not worth your money.

The decor is pretty and invited me in, service was friendly. I was having a look at the cakes/sausage rolls which looked good but were really overpriced for what they were so didn’t get anything to eat. Anyway, I ordered a latte and with a bit of a delay, the guy took it over to me and it was good. The cafes close to Ladbroke Grove station so it’s handy if you’re in the area.

A truly delightful place in nothing hill with a variety of delicious meals and sweet treats The place is simple, clean and inviting with super friendly staff . Of course the food is the star here. I went for breakfast and had the avo eggs Benedict , which was very tasty and refreshingly inventive .. the juices fresh and plenty to choose from , the cappuccino with almond milk one of the best I had In fact it was good I brought home a delicious quiche and a decadent chocolate brownie for lunch . Prices are reasonable, freshness and quality worth every penny If you like healthy food in London this is it

We had literally arrived in London earlier in the morning. We wandered Portobello Market and we realized that we were starving. We walked into Leafwild. We asked for a menu but they didn’t have one to give us at the moment. Once we sat down they brought menus over to us. We ordered our lunches and coffees. Unfortunately the dishes were wrong when they were served and service was slow. We were disappointed however I must admit that our waiter, Illiush knew that mistakes had been made and he said we shouldn’t worry about paying our bill. He stated that he was so sorry about our experience and he even brought over an extra dish for us to share. After reading the prior reviews, where people were complaining about the staff I cannot complain about our server. Illiush went out of his way and for this reason I would revisit the restaurant when in the area.

Orange stains on my mug? The tea was also very weak. My blueberry muffin made up for the bad experience somewhat however for £2 for a minuscule muffin it should be good!

Evitar a toda costa.

We are here in London from the United States and so happy we found Brown & Rosie in Nottingham! We spent three weeks traveling around England… Brown & Rosie is at the top of our list of favorite places. We had dinner twice and breakfast once. Hamburgers were awesome. My French toast topped with fruit and ice cream was delicious! Not sure when we will back to London but we will never visit London again without stopping in at Brown & Rosie! Thanks so much from an American Tourist!

As long as you have an eternity to send here you should be golden. The service is there, but cannot really see it, food is a lot faster than expected considering it took 30mins to order and only 20mins to get the food. And if you forget to order something you might as well make peace with the fact you won’t get it. Staff is nice, but for some reason four floor staff and two in the kitchen Chen struggled to serve five tables with 20 people in total and quite a few people waiting to be seated had to leave.

Brilliant event, from the planning to the actual event itself. Food was delicious, service was fantastic and everything was just seamless! Kim was always on hand to help in the run up and Clara was great on the day - thanks to the whole team! Going to the pub afterwards in our fancy dress outfits was the perfect end to our time at The Phene. A fabulous work Christmas event.

For many years I used Greenfields where I received consistently outstanding courteous, friendly, and swift service. Now where are they? Food quality was always the highest and prices reasonable but creeping up forced upon them by rapacious landlord happy to cede their territory to the growing French / Belgian community. Was it not Bonaparte who referred to the English as a "nation of shopkeepers"? Is it not ironic, therefore, that where he could not win at Waterloo his descendants could in South Ken....
