I have been to Leaf bean pod before and never been disappointed it has always been excellent food. I heard they were doing a Thai night on the 24/25 of November so i got a few friends together and booked a table for eight on the 24th, what a night it turned out to be it was a fantastic experience for all of us. The food was out of this world, we all agreed it was the best Thai food we had ever tasted (it was that good) and very generous helpings too. The chef certainly knew how to blend spices and dressed in traditional Thai costume too. It was like being in Thailand itself, what a night..

The owner David puts on various speciality nights , tonight was a Thai night and all the food was prepared and cooked by his partner Sai .. It was awesome, she is an amazing cook, the food was outstanding and made me feel like i was actually back in Thailand .. at £30 per head probably the best Thai meal i have ever had in the UK ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We called in initially for a coffee and to see if they catered for events...they do. Out of curiosity we decided to try the cabbage and ribs on the menu, the plates arrived with heaps of cabbage, butter beans and topped with bacon ribs, it was delicious and I have to say as good as I remember growing up in Salford, a dash of black pepper and the meal was complete. I have seen this dish offered in gastropubs and upmarket eateries with ridiculous prices, here we were charged, £6 a portion and it was a big portion. The cafe was spotless, the staff friendly and so we stopped for another coffee. Also I notice gluten free pies to either eat in or takeaway a nice touch I thought. Would I go again? certainly and have no hesitation to recommend to others going off my visit.

Just been to Leaf Bean Pod. I had meat and potato pie with mash and gravy. My husband had the same but with Salford Reds pue. Our granddaughter had chili with rice and grated cheese on top with cheese nachos in separate bowl. Omg it was all delicious. The pastry was the best we've ever eaten. Portions are large. We took away some frozen pie's for our freezer for a later date and we'll be back to try something different from the menu.

Just called in after reading reviews on FB, We weren’t disappointed. Really nice pies we had a Moroccan beef and a meat and potato, both were lovely and they had plenty of filling inside. 2 fat rascals to take home and try too!

I called in to collect two sandwiches on my way to hospital appointment. Fresh chicken tikka with salad. Both me and my wife enjoyed the sandwiches and will be calling again. We bought two pies on sale. Cheese and onion and a steak and ale. Both pies were full of filling and my wife could not eat all her cheese and onion pie as she was to full so I finished it for her. After the tasty food purchased we will be giving one of his theme dinners a go.

We ordered pies to take away, and some sandwiches. Sandwiches were fine. Pies were probably the worst we've ever had. We ordered Moroccan beef and beef and stilton and neither had any flavour at all. The meat was dry. The pie was only half full. The pastry was stale and tough and dry. No gravy in there and no jelly to moisten it up. Sadly, this put us off every visiting again. I hope the chef/owner takes this on board and gets to grips with the freshness and quality of what should be his USP.

Very nice place. Decor was modern and nice. Reservation hadn’t been put on their list, nearly didn’t let us sit in. Had to show the emails to prove we had booked. Food was disappointing. Battered black pudding had hardly any batter on. The fish from the fish and chips came out as two separate fillets. It was dry, chewy and depressing. Tasted frozen. Tartare sauce didn’t arrive at table. Could have helped with the dryness. My wife’s lasagna looked okay but I didn’t taste. Ordered extra portion of chips. Didn’t arrive but was charged for. (Wife had to embarrassingly correct them). Waitress was abrupt to verge of being rude. I had three year old twin girls with me. The look on her face suggested that kids should be seen and not heard. Attitude far from the family welcoming atmosphere that the aerodrome offers. Long and short, if you don’t want children there… don’t have a kids menu. Will likely visit the aerodrome again, but will be taking a picnic.

Absolutely devasted to hear the news of this place closing down permanently! It was our regular spot while living at Lockside Lane for a whole year, we loved the food, loved the beers and loved the atmosphere, our pooch loved it there too! I’m glad SevenBro7hers is still running at other locations at least, because they’re a really great business overall. Lots of great memories at this place. They had a collage of Polaroid photos of all the dogs who visited, which they called the “wall of dogs” and it was such a lovely touch. Please open a new spot in Fallowfield! The students around here would love it! All good things must come to an end, I suppose… such a shame. Thank you for hosting us!

Qué pequeño pub / bar fabuloso. Gran bienvenida y servicio, ambiente encantador, sillas cómodas. Sin duda volveré a visitar la próxima vez que esté en Inglaterra, quiero probar su deliciosa comida de aspecto. Gracias por una velada realmente encantadora ayer.
